Growing up in a Christian family, I had lots of questions. I thought deeply about God and existence. I wanted to understand myself and the world I live in. I explored books, seeking to understand the physical world, and the human system. But the more I sought answers, the more complex the search became. Then I stumbled onto Sentinel Radio. At first I didn't quite understand the explanations, but the little I picked up was simply logical and made sense. Years later, I got my first copy of Science and Health and began studying the book. My studies demanded I reason out the ideas, in order to understand them. Gradually, it dawned on me that God, who is infinite Love, is a presence I cannot be separated from. That was awesome. Again, it dawned on me that the ideas in this book are practical, provable, effective and reformational. I found peace, I lost fear, I found harmony and health. These experiences led to a conviction that I could totally rely on God for everything I needed, since God is all good. My desire to help people with this understanding led me into the full time practice of Christian Science. To have been given the privilege as a teacher of Christian Science of assisting others out of erroneous beliefs regarding God, man and the universe is a humbling and highly cherished opportunity.
