Prepare to welcome members of your community.
Schedule a workshop provided by The Mother Church.
Connect to other Librarians in the Reading Room Group.
Invite your community in. Find posters and other display items available via our Dropbox repository.
Determine if there are promotional materials that need updating.
The “Reading Room Group” is a great way for Reading Rooms librarians, staff, and those interested in Reading Room activity to connect and share inspiration and fruitage; ask questions about Reading Room activities to other group members; post and share pictures, window display art, and videos; and locate out-of-print titles visitors are asking for. This is a private community to protect the members and their conversations, so first-time visitors will need to apply to join. Permission will be granted shortly after the request is received.
