It was during high school that the direction of Lesley’s life changed. Although she was raised as a Christian Scientist, it wasn’t until she experienced the joy of helping someone during a youth club outing that Lesley finally understood what it took to love unselfishly.

I grew up in a very loving home, with three brothers and two sisters. My mom lived Christian Science! She was widowed when all six of us were very young, and never worked outside the home.

Nicole is available for in-person lectures.Nicole’s father was a free-lance church organist, and her parents attended services at many different Christian churches in New England. Her mom had been on a years-long search to find out how to practice Christian healing just as Jesus did, and when she started attending Christian Science church services, she found what she was looking for.

The work of Jesus and the reports of healing in the Bible have been an inspiration to me for as long as I can remember. I was first introduced to Christian Science as a teenager and I witnessed wonderful healings through Christian Science.

Melanie isn't currently accepting further invitations for the 2024-2025 lecture year, and in general, she does less traveling these days due to her role as assistant manager of the Board of Lectureship. Two influences that Melanie will never forget were the Christian Science Sunday School and a mom who turned to prayer and encouraged her to do the same.

Christian Science found me while I was just a young person. I had been fairly content with life, but my experiences and something within were showing me that life had a bigger significance than what appeared.

The Bible and Mary Baker Eddy’s writings have guided me from childhood. In my teens, I toured with a musical band but always believed my lifework was to serve the Cause of Christian Science.

I was raised in а family where loving God and relying on Him to heal all our problems was a way of life. It still is, for me.

I was born into a Christian family that I left at the age of 10. It wasn’t until years later that I began to believe there really is a superior being, God, who created the universe.

After graduating from college and law school, I joined the United States Justice Department as a trial lawyer in the Antitrust Division and then as a special Assistant United States Attorney, prosecuting criminal cases from indictment to jury trial to sentencing. From the beginning of my legal career, whenever I went on my own ambition and talents, I would falter.
