General Publications Product Development and Management Internship

Are you interested in business, product development, and management? Do you love Christian Science and are interested in helping build products that will have a lasting impact on the movement? Are you organized and good with detail and follow-through? If the answer is yes, this position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team overseeing, developing, and marketing many of the items sold in Reading Rooms. 

About the department of General Publications

The General Publications department (GP) is responsible for all of the products sold in Reading Rooms other than the writings of Mary Baker Eddy and the periodicals. This includes biographies about Mary Baker Eddy, hymnals, music, pamphlets, anthologies, children’s products, Bible reference materials, and more. 

Opportunities:

  • Participate in product development of the latest CSPS products

  • Research and analyze GP products (spreadsheet creation, product analysis, identifying opportunities)

  • Assist with advertising and marketing initiatives

  • Learn about and contribute to the GP cross-functional team (consisting of members across multiple departments, following an Agile work model)

  • Assist with filing, organizing, and other activities essential to department work-flow

Qualifications & Desired Qualities:

  • Commitment to Christian Science and interest in sharing its healing message

  • Familiarity with products offered in Reading Rooms is beneficial

  • Progress towards a degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Management, Operations Management, Marketing, or similar fields (or demonstrated experience and/or interest in those areas)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, capable of multitasking

  • Team player who can accomplish tasks independently

  • Strong writing skills, interest and/or experience in music, art, or graphic design a plus

Program Dates: May 19 - August 1, 2025

Compensation: Interns receive a $400/week living stipend. They will also receive a $900 grant upon completion of the internship. These payments are taxable benefits.
