Online Christian Science Sunday School

Online Sunday School is much like a branch church Sunday School. It is offered to students who do not live near a Christian Science church. Students join an online class via Zoom using a computer, tablet, or phone. All Sunday School classes are live sessions, not pre-recorded, and invite active participation. We welcome students up to the age of 20.

Students up to the age of 20. Pupils are grouped in small classes by age. If you're under 18, have your parent or guardian fill out the Online Sunday School Permission section.

It begins with a hymn. Then everyone reads the Golden Text and Responsive Reading from that week’s Bible Lesson, followed by a few moments of silent prayer, and then the Lord’s Prayer. Then it is class time! Class discussions focus on the Bible, and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Studying these two books during class time encourages students to apply the timeless lessons found in the Bible, such as the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount, directly to their own lives.

Online Sunday School classes meet over Zoom from 10-11 a.m. ET. Classes are held in English, though if you would like help finding an online Christian Science Sunday School class in a language other than English, we would be happy to assist you.

You can fill out The Mother Church Sunday School online application below. If you're under 18, have your parent or guardian fill out the Online Sunday School Permission section.
