Susan Steinemann Collins CSB

When I found Christian Science, I had absolutely no idea that man’s potential was limitless, no challenge was too hard for God, and, that we could experience heaven, right here on earth! I grew up on Long Island, New York, where educational and cultural opportunities abounded, including music, travel, community service, and advantages in The Big Apple. But, my whole life was overshadowed with distressing health issues.

Kari Mashos CSB

At an early age I loved reading the Bible for its inspiring accounts of healing. I found it comforting, strengthening and thought-provoking. I felt those Biblical healing experiences of relying on divine help were showing all of us that God is knowable as the always present good.

Kevin Eugene Ness CSB

I grew up loving Christian Science as a little boy and never stopped. I was raised in Tampa, Florida, in a loving family where it was natural to see Christian Science healing and look to God for answers for all of life’s needs.

Cross and Crown trademark licensing program

The Christian Science Board of Directors is happy to accept applications to license use of the Cross and Crown trademark from branch churches and societies of The Mother Church, Christian Science teachers and lecturers, Christian Science college and university organizations, and Committees on Publication. The Cross and Crown is a registered trademark of the Christian Science Board of Directors and has long been used on Mary Baker Eddy’s writings and the Christian Science periodicals to indicate The Mother Church as the authentic source of these products. As the Cross and Crown trademark is expanded and more widely used through licensing, we expect the public will become increasingly aware of it as a visual identifier of genuine Christian Science services offered in local communities by The Mother Church and its branches and other associated activities.

Sabrina Stillwell CSB

Growing up in a loving Christian Science home in California, I witnessed and experienced many healings through prayer. Later, after unfruitful years of exploring different modes of thinking and behavior, I found myself drawn back to the truths, the universal spiritual laws I had learned as a child--the pure and deeply practical teachings of Christian Science.  I knew this was the Truth -- the unwavering nature of God's love, the supreme power and grace of God's goodness -- that I had found nowhere else.  I experienced healing and a deep yearning to understand more of God, which led me to take Primary class in 1983.

Paula V Jensen-Moulton CSB

Relying on God has always been natural for me. From an early age, I found that praying with simple truths I learned at home and in the Christian Science Sunday School brought healing and comfort for myself and others.

Christian Science, Wikipedia, and American Religious History

There are many misunderstandings about Christian Science and its Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, on Wikipedia. Entries appear like jumbled puzzles with missing sections, pieces forced into the wrong places, and other pieces that simply don’t belong. The church is offering this encyclopedic entry on Christian Science, with permission, that comes closer to the heart of the religion.

Caryl Emra Farkas, CSB

The most important influences on Emra’s life were her mother, who taught her to pray when confronted with difficulties, and her Christian Science Sunday School. In her teens, when a teacher asked her to speak to a social studies class about her religion, she found the joy that comes from sharing what she understood and had experienced of Mary Baker Eddy’s discovery.

Making a choice for God has been a reoccurring theme throughout my life. Christian Science was introduced to our family when I was young.
