The products of the Christian Science Publishing Society help promote and extend the cause of Christian Science. They encourage growth and healing.
Do you have an idea or proposal that you could help develop, or a work that you would like us to consider publishing? If so, we’d love to hear from you. The Department of General Publications is interested in working with musicians, artists, writers, or anyone who would like to contribute to projects.
General Publications is responsible for publishing works other than the writings of Mary Baker Eddy and the periodicals. Our diverse catalog includes biographies, children’s books, music recordings, audiobooks, cards, posters, and more. You can find our products at any Christian Science Reading Room or online at shop.christianscience.com.
NOTE: If you do not have work to submit but would like to suggest a potential product idea, please do not use the Submission Form. Instead, please email your idea to gpsubmissions@csps.com and include the words “Product Suggestion” in the subject line. By agreeing to review a suggestion, we do not assume any obligation to refrain from publishing a work based on a similar idea, concept, or story.

Thank you for your interest in submitting your work for review. We value all submissions and your desire to contribute. We are open to a wide variety of projects. Before you submit, please take some time to consider whether your submission supports the mission of General Publications in “promoting and extending the religion of Christian Science as taught by” Mary Baker Eddy (Mary Baker Eddy, Deed of Trust organizing The Christian Science Publishing Society). As you think about your submission, consider whether it fulfills one or more of the following criteria:
Supports the activities and guidance outlined in the Manual of The Mother Church
Elevates thought and supports healing as taught in Christian Science
Meets a specific need of the Christian Science community or the general public who might want to know more about Christian Science
Points readers or listeners to the Christian Science Pastor—The Bible, and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy
Other factors to keep in mind:
We are happy to consider submissions in different stages—from product concepts to fully finished work. Please be sure to provide as much information about your submission as possible in the Submission Form.
We welcome content in all languages.
We require two references for every submission—one that can speak to your professional experience and background, and the other to your practice of Christian Science. Please be sure to confirm with your references that it’s ok to share their contact information with us.
Upon completing the Submission Form, you will receive a confirmation email from gpsubmissions@csps.com. If you have questions about completing the Submission Form, please email us at gpsubmissions@csps.com.
We strongly encourage the submission of electronic files through the file upload option in the Submission Form. If you can only send in a physical submission, you will still need to complete the Submission Form (which includes mailing instructions).
If the creator of the work is a legal minor, the submission must be made by a parent/legal guardian on behalf of the content creator.
If you know someone who would like to make a submission, please refer them to this page. We cannot accept submissions made on another’s behalf (except in the case of a minor, as noted above).
If your submission represents a collaboration, please choose one person as a point of contact who will fill out the submission form for themselves and submit the content. The Submission Form includes a field for listing other collaborators.
Please note that we do not return materials submitted through mail or the Submission Form. Please do not send originals.

Please note that we receive many submissions—it can sometimes take us a while to evaluate and respond. At that point, we will either contact you for further discussion of your submission or let you know that we cannot move forward with your submission. There will be no remuneration for submissions that are not accepted. Note: By agreeing to review a submission, we do not assume any obligation to refrain from publishing a work based on a similar idea, concept, or story.
If we are considering your project:
We will contact you to discuss the details of your submission and the potential process for moving it towards publication.
If we decide to publish your work, a contract will be created to govern the relationship between you and The Christian Science Publishing Society. CSPS will contract directly with any additional contributors.
Remuneration and copyright status for accepted submissions is determined on a case-by-case basis.
