During these times we want to ensure that our subscribers have uninterrupted access to The Christian Science Monitor and other Christian Science publications, as well the opportunity to explore all the publications available from The Christian Science Publishing Society.

You can access, download, and print black and white, printer-friendly PDFs of the most recent issues of The Christian Science Journal, Sentinel, Herald, Christian Science Monitor Weekly, and Citation and Full-Text Quarterlies in multiple languages, published by the Christian Science Publishing Society.

During these times when resources and delivery options may be limited for some of our subscribers worldwide, we wanted to provide simplified, black and white, printer-friendly PDF publications that are easy to download across many devices and can be printed using the least amount of paper and ink possible. 

No, not at all. The current, familiar editions of the Monitor Weekly, Journal, Sentinel, Herald, and Quarterly Bible Lessons are not being suspended or eliminated. However, as many people around the world are experiencing interruptions or delays in their delivery and mail systems, we wanted to make sure our print subscribers have continued access to this content.

This service is available to all who subscribe to the print editions of the Christian Science periodicals, including The Christian Science Monitor Weekly.

Subscribers are welcome to download and print current issues of the Christian Science publications. If you don’t subscribe to all of the magazines, we encourage you to explore other publications of interest to you. If you find something you enjoy, you can subscribe right from a link on the page.

Christian Science branch churches and Reading Rooms are encouraged to use this resource to assist and print magazines for individual church members, as needed. The magazine files should not be posted to branch church/Reading Room websites or social media accounts.

This resource will be available while a significant number of print subscribers in various regions are experiencing mail interruptions or delays due to the global pandemic.

Subscribers will receive emails with a direct link to each of the publications to which they subscribe. You may want to bookmark and visit this webpage to download and print recent issues.

You are welcome to share a link to this page with individual subscribers you know, rather than sharing actual files (magazine PDFs). 

Branch churches, Reading Rooms, and subscribers are welcome to share the link to this page with individual church members and other subscribers. Posting a link to the page on a church website or social media, or posting individual magazine files, is not recommended nor the intent of this offer from The Christian Science Publishing Society. Beyond the special circumstances of this temporary offer, all other usual Terms of Service still apply.

Individual subscribers are welcome to print and share copies with fellow subscribers on a one-to-one basis. Similarly, churches and Reading Rooms may print and share copies with individual subscribers and church members who need assistance.

From the main “hub” page, you can click or tap on “Herald” or “Quarterly” and select the “Language” drop down menu to view the periodicals in languages other than English.

This page offers the two most current issues of your print periodicals in a printer-friendly PDF format. If you would like to access more content from these publications, including any available archived materials, we welcome you to consider a full subscription.

Technical:

This page is accessible from any device with an internet browser (e.g. Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome, Explorer).

Publication files are available in a black and white printer-friendly PDF format. PDFs can be viewed and downloaded via most browsers without installing additional software. Adobe Acrobat Reader can also be used for viewing PDF files and is available to download and install for free.

To download an issue, browse to the desired magazine and click the link for the specific issue you wish to download.

Note where your file was downloaded to, open up the PDF, and print using your PDF reader’s printing menu options.
