Your free tour of The Mother Church starts here
Church tours begin in the Welcome Hall at How Do You See the World? experience where visitors gather for the tour. You will walk a short distance across the Christian Science Plaza to enter the church through the glass walled Portico.
Tours last approximately 40 minutes.
Tours may be available in languages other than English.
The entire tour is wheelchair accessible.
Individual tours
No reservations are required for groups under ten people. To begin your tour, visit the Welcome Hall at How Do You See the World? experience, where a Host will assist you.

Bus
By bus, take Harvard/Holyoke Gate—Dudley Station, Bus number “1." It stops on Massachusetts Avenue at Clearway Street, adjacent to the Christian Science Plaza. Bus number "39" stops at the corner of Huntington Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue.
Subway
By subway, take the Green line to Prudential or Symphony Stations (“E” Train). From the Prudential Station, cross Belvidere Street to the Christian Science Plaza. From Symphony Station, the Christian Science Plaza is on Massachusetts Avenue, north on your right.
Or take the Green line to Hynes Convention Center Station ("B" "C" "D" Trains). From the Hynes Convention Center Station, turn left. Walk along Massachusetts Avenue south. The Plaza will be on your left just past Clearway Street.
Or take the Orange line to Massachusetts Avenue Station. Walk north on Massachusetts Avenue. You will find the Plaza on your right just past Huntington Avenue.

Driving from the North
Take I-93 South to Exit 26 (Storrow Drive/North Station/Rt-28, Rt-3). Keep left at the fork in the ramp through a short tunnel and merge onto Storrow Drive. Turn slight left onto MA-28 South/Storrow Drive/MA-3 North. Take the left exit to Copley Square Back Bay (MA-28 South). Turn right onto Beacon Street/MA-28 South. Continue to follow Beacon Street. Turn left onto Massachusetts Avenue. Continue on Massachusetts Avenue. The Christian Science Plaza is on your left.
Driving from the South
Take I-93 North to Exit 18 (Frontage Road, toward Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury). Turn slight left onto Frontage Road North. Turn left onto Massachusetts Avenue Conn. Turn slight right onto Massachusetts Avenue. The Christian Science Plaza is on your right.
Driving from the West
Take I-90 East to Exit 22 (Prudential Center, Copley Square). Take the ramp toward Prudential Center. Turn slight right onto Huntington Avenue/MA-9/Avenue of the Arts. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue. The Christian Science Plaza is on your right.
Parking in the Christian Science Plaza garage is open to the public, as well as Church Service attendees and those holding monthly passes. Parking for church services is available onsite in the underground garage and can be accessed traveling westbound on Huntington Avenue or northbound on Massachusetts Avenue. The address for GPS devices and phone apps like Google Maps is 235 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02115
Please note: it's illegal to make a left turn into the Massachusetts Avenue entrance when traveling southbound on Massachusetts Avenue.
Parking fees (effective September 2024):
Parking is free with validation for those attending Church services.
Parking is available at a discount rate of $18 per day with validation when visiting The Mary Baker Eddy Library, and the Christian Science Reading Room (after 19 hours, standard rates apply).

0.5 hour: $11
0.5 - 1 hour: $16
1 - 1.5 hours: $21
1.5 - 2 hours: $28
2 - 2.5 hours: $34
2.5 - 24 hours: $42
Night rate: $20 (enter after 5 p.m. and exit before 8 a.m.)
Event rate: $30
Weekends: $25 (for up to 12 hours)
