What’s the connection between art and Christian Science? For painter Noni Clarke it comes down to one word: Identity. Christian Science, says Clarke, gives her the strength to be herself as an artist—to be, as she puts it, “God’s instrument,” and to see everyone else that way, too. “That erases competition,” she explains. And it opens the way to freedom of expression.
