  1. Thank you, John!

  2. Thank you!

  3. Thank you John --To remember the present is the time to be God like as we were made to be .To speak and act rightly, on a slow morning I will look out for the miner bird !

  4. Thank you so much, John, for this Daily Lift giving such a sense of peace and being embraced in God's love.

  5. This is one of the most beautiful healing messages. I thank you with all my heart!

  6. The past is gone, the future as we know it still a fantasy. “We own no past, no future, we possess only now…” MY 12:20
We must take care of our present… it won’t come back.
The present is the safest place to be if we sense ours and others relationship with the Eternal good.
God’s cannot be separated from His image, always renewing itself, always sharing His Love. http://bible.cc/2corinthians/4-16.htm

  7. "I am here, I love you, I never left." Great peace, to tuck me in for the night.
    Thank you so much.

  8. Dear John,
This is just what I needed to hear today - and it fits so beautifully with this week's Lesson. Thank you so much for all you are doing, and the joyous way in which you do it. It was good to see you again at the UK Summit.
    love to you.

  9. Lovely. I'm so grateful. :-)

  10. Thank you so much for this reminder that God is ever with us, Hymn 136 by Violet Hay in the C.S. Hymnal also gives us the confidence that God's presence is ever with us. First stanza reads I love Thy way of freedom Lord,/ To serve Thee is my choice,/ In Thy clear light of Truth I rise/ And, listening for Thy voice,/ I hear Thy promise old and new,/ That bids all fear to cease:/ My presence still shall go with thee/ And I will give thee peace. Thank you once again, the Lift team and the Lecturers and the Board .

  11. Thanks alot.

  12. Many thanks John for pointing out that we all must demonstrate Love's "kindness, honesty and intelligence, and our oneness with eternal Good. - I am here - I love you - I never left." "Thou art Truth's honest child,/ Of pure and sinless heart;/ Thou treadest undefiled/ In Christly paths apart." (Christian Science Hymnal #382).

  13. Thanks John, Now are we the sons of God (1st John).

  14. Thank you, I had to listen to it twice. It is perfect, thanks again.

  15. Thank you so much John such a comforting message.

  16. At one time the King of England was simply referred to as "the presence." In the first chapter of James it is written that we are not to forget that pure religion means refusing to accept, or bow down to sin, disease, discord of any kind, or death. This is the activity of visiting the widow and the fatherless, or our own distressed thinking. And how can this presence be realized, "suddenly" or presently unless we keep ourselves unspotted from the world. In the word's furnace there is no past, no future. The present now is not captured and held by time, but rather the present now is progress, or the healing Christ, the presence of God, good, right in the midst of affliction. Purifying oneself is as Mary Baker Eddy wrote, to "Emerge gently from matter into Spirit." It is the result of necessary spiritual growth. (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, page 485.

  17. Thank you John, and thank you board of lectureship and board of directors for these inspiring daily lifts that remind us to remain in the now, every single day. Thanks again, Steve

  18. Thank you.

  19. Thank you so much John for this beautiful reminder to speak and act rightly TODAY.We only have the eternal Now and we should cherish it. Blessings to all who work for the DL´s.

  20. Wow! Thank you so much. So gently and comfortingly dynamic!

  21. Thank you so much for this beautiful message. It is just what I needed to hear this morning: "I am here ... I never left ... I love you." I have played it 5 times so far; I am going to do so again. Blessings to you and to all!

  22. That is such a reminder.., that we all live in the ever-present "now". I will make the most of every moment, because that is where (and when) I live. "behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Cor 6:2)

The past is what I now think of it. The future depends on what I am thinking now.

  23. Dear John,

Thank you for this thought. I know I say this a lot in the DL Forum but there is certainly only the One Mind.

I awoke at my usual hour and when I looked to the west I saw the Moon shining over the sea with such radiance. The thought then came to me to leave home NOW and photograph it. I paused and immediately another thought, louder than the first just said 'leave home now, do not miss this opportunity"

I obeyed and in a short space of time I got so many beautiful photos, especially of a tree now in full bloom. By the way, I have never left home on a work day to do photography. I was glad I obeyed that voice, the same voice that said "okay enough..time to go home" :-)

Now certainly is the time. Thank you for this Lift and especially for the reference to "Now and Then" I shall read it carefully today.

Thanks also to all of the staff, practitioners, teachers, readers, students, members and visitors for all of the preparatory work that went into Annual Meeting. It was felt and is still being felt.

  24. Thanks, John. A calm, confident, trusting sense of God's presence with everyone in it.

  25. I am very inspired by this message. These were the words I was seeking within myself. Much appreciated.

  26. How comforting to know there is no past and no future, only the present - thanks John for this reminder. I pray daily "In Him I live, and move and have my being" to keep me grounded in living this moment free from the past
    whatever it may have been.

  27. Thank you very much, John, for this wonderful Lift!

  28. Being reminded that God is always present, that He loves me, and He has never left me is so comforting, so healing, so precious! This Lift is an embrace and I thank you, John, for the powerful
reminder of God's ever-presence and constant love!

  29. Thank you John.Declaring God's ever presence and power has instantaniously helped me in many circumstances. The false mortal picture disappears by knowing this simple, but all important, truth.
Thank you for all your good dedicated work and prayers.

  30. What a blessing and comfort that we are always within the holy now, that in reality, there is no other space or time. From Christian Science Hymn # 148:

    In heavenly Love abiding,
    No change my heart shall fear;
    And safe is such confiding,
    For nothing changes here.

Thank you, John, for this beautiful message, and thank you Nate.

  31. How beautifully put - thank you!

  32. Sometimes I need giant mynah birds! :-) I love the sweetness, though, of nature speaking God's gentle truths which remind us of our oneness with nature and God.

  33. So beautiful, John! Thank you!

  34. Precious clear message
    "only now"
    Thanks for being there

  35. This is so relevant to the Annual Meeting, John. Thank you so much. Everyone and every item so of the moment. I just loved it. And the workshops, too, were great, especially the one on social media. How amazing to be part of a church that so promotes being right in this moment! The reception this year was the best yet, and for the Daily Lift family to add their comments was the icing on the cake. Of all the wondrous things God is, that He is Love is absolutely the best. That He created love of His own essence and blesses everyone with His whole unlimited Oneness, the ALL of it, leaves nothing we could ever ask for.
Your music workshop was brilliant Nate! thanks to the BoL and lecturers; and our Daily Lift family.

  37. This brings to mind Eddy's declaration: "God's law is in three words, "I am All;"
Today three powerful simple sentences: "I am here. I love you. I never left."
The simplicity of the Christ always speaking the truth in love. Thank you John and DL and BOL.

  38. Wonderful ! Thank you so much. :-)

  39. Thank you John for such a wonderful treatment!!!

  40. I have listened to this lift by John several times, it's so comforting and will recommend it to others throughtout the day. We learn in Christian Science that good is not helpless. If we feel powerless in certain circumstances, it's important that we awaken to the presence of God's love. If depressed, our life is not a shipwreck and complete recovery is possible. Staying in the now, or present time gives us a new opportunity to see the goodness God has provided for us. If we allow even a small ray of hope into our thought, it can lead us to the healing sunlight of Truth. Thank you John for bringing this inspiration to our attention!!

  41. Love you, John Q.!! To know, feel, hear, see, taste and touch God's Presence every moment is indeed a taste of Heaven on Earth! I have always loved the Bible verse: "I girded thee, though thou has not known me." "Girded' means to surround, to encircle. Dropping our "mortal stories" and embracing our Life lived always in God's Presence allows us to hear that voice of Love saying, "I'm right here, I love you, I have never left." Thank you! Much Love! XOXO!!

  42. Thank you very much John for your very comforting Lift ! It is reminding us that right ",,, now we are the sons of God" !

  43. What a lovely reminder! Thank you.

  44. Thank you, so true

  45. Thank you for this timeless reminder! I love that I am more fully realizing the eternal now - that if I start to feel regret about something I missed or didn't do, I can listen for guidance in the present moment for a new thought regarding that situation. Peace and inspiration moves us past those moments of seeming loss and onward and upward. Only the substance of God, Good is real and eternal, blessing the now - giving us ample opportunity to experience ever-present Love cheering us on.

  46. Thank you so much John, for this wonderful Lift!
Thank you to my fellow liftees for their comments and to #23 wasn't the moon just amazing, awesome. I just wanted to stare at it for ages, but was standing in the middle of a busy road at 11pm, twilight is not a good time to do that lol!
I took some photos too :-)

    Beannachd,

    Shelagh

  47. Thank you John, as I learned much.

  48. John and fellow Lifters - a big thank you for the Love notes! I AM here, I love you, I never left. His arm is encircling me and mine and all, right here, right now. My family has been going through some changes in the last week, and I loved what so many said - to just believe in God's goodness and constant provision. #45 said it so beautifully - "Peace and inspiration moves us past those moments of seeming loss and onward and upward.Only the substance of God, Good is real and eternal, blessing the now - giving up ample opportunity to experience ever-present Love cheering us on." Wow -any questions? I think not - in Him we are living, moving, and having our being - all in the here and now. I am so grateful for Christian Science and this perfect way of living in the NOW

  49. Thank you for your alertness, John, and for reminding us of this great truth of only Now!

  50. Thank you, John Q. I saw the title before going to bed, but couldn't hear it. Unusual for me, I didn't think about it later on awakening. I didn't get to call to hear this until up in the day. By then, I'd been searching for a bill I need to mail today, and time is running out to catch the mail pick-up at my small town. I'd gotten still and declared all was good, and Mind was HERE. Then I remembered to call the Lift and it's exactly what I need to confirm my stand. Even if I don't find the bill, it is ultimately important to know and keep the thought and feeling that NOW I am with God, my Father. My needs are met now. I don't need birds to tell me that, either. This present knowledge is the most important thought I need to PAY attention to, every moment of each day. I'm realizing that what seems like an unanswered need, is not a problem, but an opportunity to bring me to what really is now. ..... Oh, this will be no surprise to all reading, as I finished the sentence before this, I looked up the noun "cause" in S&H Concordance, and just reading the words connected to it in that book alone, within 2 minutes, I was led to see a stack of papers tucked back in a spot not noticeable. The bill was in with these! I've time to post this and go to Post Office to send it. Note: There were 90 when I posted mine. This was # 91, submitted around 3:30 PM on Tuesday. It was the last one when I checked around 6 PM ET

  51. How glorious to be reminded that "We own no past..." Our dear leader is ever-inspiring...

  52. The last few words of this Daily Lift are incredibly powerful.

"I am here, I Love You, I Never Left."

  53. Exavtly what I needed - love these Lifts

  54. Thank you, John - family members from Kuala Lumpur were here, and I am now playing catchup.
So glad I did not miss your wonderful, meaningful LIFT with a most appropriate lesson!

  55. "I am with you alway" came to mind. And that is what I learned through Christian Science . . . . . .
that I am always in God's care . . . . . regardless of any "human or mortal" situation claiming otherwise. Mankind is held in God's consciousness.

Is there any need for more ? I am deeply grateful for the teachings of Christian Science.

  56. Thank you, John, for this powerful and healing lift. I listen to it often for comfort, reassurance, and help keeping me on track, especially when I am fearful.
