  1. Thank you Suzanne for this insightful Lift. Our dependence on God is not from a point of weakness but rather one of spiritual strength. As we recognize our oneness with God, good, we find our true spiritual identity. Mary Baker Eddy says in S&H page 317, "The individuality of man is no less tangible because it is spiritual and because his life is not at the mercy of matter. The understanding of his spiritual individuality makes man more real, more formidable in truth, and enables him to conquer sin, disease, and death." The joy this experience brings with it is ours to love and cherish each day.

  2. Thank you so much! "Change mental habits"---a great reminder to exercise better mental discipline today, and every day!

  3. Lovely! Comforting. Thank you.

  4. Thank you Suzanne!

It used be, for most of my life, and I was raised in Christian Science, that I turned to God when I needed the most help, and when the demonstration was made, I'd say to God, Thank You God, I'll take it from here...Eventually, this led to seeking healing for healing's sake, not interested in the requisite attitude change, reformation, that comes with healing. I was spinning my wheels. This led to much suffering.

I can happily say that I am firmly committed to walking the path of finding God with every step taken and word spoken. I am so grateful for this landmark lesson in my experience!

    Love you Lifters!

  5. Love it, Suzanne. All doors to good are opened for me today. Thanks!

  6. Mrs. Eddy gives, “Only by admitting evil as a reality, and entering into a state of evil thoughts, can we in belief separate one man’s interests from those of the whole human family, or thus attempt to separate Life from God." (Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896, page 18.)

  7. Thank you for the new definition for concierge. I truly believe that Mrs. Eddy accepted God as her concierge in the writing of Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures. This guidance was essential for the very thorough explanations she has made regarding Science, Christ, and the synonyms for God. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention.

  8. Delightful, useful right now - thanks Suzanne!

  9. Thanks Riedel for the reminder that we are not on our own but depend on God who is always with us to work for Good. Not relying on ourselves or others.

  10. I was with my suitcase, having just taken the underground, walking along looking for a taxi. I recognized a hotel nearby so I walked that way. There was my "concierge"; divine Love meeting my needs. He hailed a taxi, helped me in & off I went on route to stay at a nursing facility for my Association. I had to describe how to find it & in so doing, mentioned Christian Science. The driver, from another country, replied: "I have just begun reading 'Science and Health'. We had a very happy and productive trip. Thank you, Suzanne. God's hand is always leading us!

  11. Thank You for inspired daily lift. Divine Love established good in our lives & directs our path

  12. Our divine Concierge...the unconditional source of all our good... continuously opening the doors to all we need.
    Thank you!

  13. Simple, sweet, kind, loving...and I get to say 'Thank you' to God, my concierge, and to you, Suzanne!

  14. I can learn to depend on God, the unconditional source of good, to open the doors I need, precisely when and as I need them opened. Thank you. I love that.

  15. Thank you so much for introducing this concept to my daily life. It immediately reminded me of the Bible verse;
    Isa 65:24

24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

This does not suggest to me a servant but it suggests a very close friend who will meet my every human need.

It also reminds me of an incident that happened while I was on my way to the first day of Class Instruction. I was approaching an underground station in London when a gentleman approached me and asked if I knew where a certain hotel was. I was quite a stranger to London at that time but I had passed that hotel on my way. I was able to direct him and went on my way to meet my Teacher. I thought little about the incident until the next Wednesday in church that same gentleman explained in a testimony that he was from Holland and on the first day of his Class Instruction he appeared to be lost, so he prayed for help knowing that the answer was close at hand. He said that he had been guided to someone who he knew could help him.

Imagine his surprise when I spoke to him after the service!

    Thank you Suzanne.

  16. It's a wonderful feeling to know that God is there as a Concierge in a hotel. Usually I ask to the concierge for suggestions, so I can see that is not only my decision. God is the one who has always been here, I can turn to God and see what He/She has for me. God knows what is good for us and which paths are meant for me and EVERYONE. I have been trying to make a decision, I thought I needed a back up plan, as God might be busy for opening a door for me. God is holding a door open, even though I might be looking I an other direction. How much love and patience does God have to wait for us to recognize that He has everything for us, for me. He has an opened door, He has the entrance tickets and lots of ideas to have an wonderful stay at this place. I just have to listen to the concierge!

  17. Thank you so much for this wonderful comparison with God´s everpresent love. I not only can see the opened dor, I can go through. We all are blessed.

  18. Can we depend on God as we would depend on the concierge of the most prestigious hotel?
We might not be rich in material things, but neither was Jesus. On the other hand, the Master was spiritually rich and never lacked anything he really needed.
Of course, he dedicated his life to serve God and in return God become his divine Concierge.
"Consecration to good does not lessen man's dependence on God, but heightens it." S&H 262:1

"While Christ is rich, can I be poor? What can I want beside? CS Hymn 224

  19. Thank you Soooo much Suzanne. This Lift is right on target.

  20. What a splendid analogy. I'll be using this today. Thank you

  21. When the disciples were debating who's the greatest among them, when they turned the question over to our dear Master, he replied substantially, "...whosoever of you shall be chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." And this, "In my Father's house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you."

This sounds like the perfect Concierge of God's appointing, anointed with "the oil of gladness above thy fellows," so that we might follow his example.

    Wonderful Lift
    Wonderful Comments

  22. Many thanks Suzanne for this inspiring reminder. "We live as the expression of God [divine Love]. Always providing the good to open the doors we need." "His touch the door of Life unseals/ And bids us freely enter,/ His word the heaven of heavens reveals/ With Love its bound and center." (Christian Science Hymnal #392).

  23. Just what I needed as I begin an unusually busy day! Thank you.

  24. Thank you Suzanne. How perfectly timed and applicable!

  25. Perfect for me today, and those I shall be working with, thank you so much. One to share - xj

  26. What a sweet and comforting thought! ---that God is opening the doors that we need to go through.

  27. Thank you, Suzanne, for “Your divine concierge … whose job is to take care of you … to bless … depend on God for … help … the unconditional source of all good …” A dear friend and I were talking yesterday about spiritual progress. I was feeling stuck and realized out loud that I have to “work smarter, not harder.” And then, the ah-ha! Smarter? That would be just yielding to God. The “old man/me” might try to “re-invent” myself, with God’s help, of course! But as you say, there is no “self-made.” The “new man/me” will call my divine concierge more often and increasingly until I call my divine concierge for everything as I let Spirit continually form me anew (S&H 425).

  28. Suzanne,
    Thank you

  29. Looking forward to open doors and all green lights today

  30. Lenore from Lakewood, OH..... I owned and managed a travel agency for many years, retiring in 1990. How well I remember the clients with "mental discipline".....those who participated in the planning of their trips. They experienced the world of travel very differently than those who depended on "hotel concierges". They experience the "aha moments"..... especially when they were lost, knowing that God would reveal some nugget of wisdom to help them find direction. Yes, God was my Concierge.... many times opening just the right door. How blessed I was to have a mother-in-law who introduced me to Christian Science.

  31. Thank you!

  32. Very helpful lift and comments! Thank you!

  34. most thankful for this early "warning "

  35. Thanks Suzanne et al. Love certainly has "set before (us) an open door, and no man can shut it." What a blessing!

  36. I just love the idea of God being my concierge always available to help and guide me - thanks so much, Suzanne, and for all of the inspiring comments thus far.

  37. The thing I love about concierges, is that they thoroughly know the city I'm a stranger in, and can give dependable information about what's happening there now, and how to get there. They know the museum hours, the best shows, just the right store for my needs and the best transportation there. So here, now is God, thoroughly knowing the city of God, knowing my employer and employment, my home, my family, my church, my angels, my abundance, my joy, knowing all the whens and wheres of them all, giving perfect directions. Ah. Thanks and more thanks for this inspiration shared,

  38. Thank you so much for the message Suzanne!
Thanks also to the whole team working to offer the Daily Lift to us as our spiritual bread, so substantial and nutritious. It is Divine Mind opening the doors of our thoughts, so we all can go through and fearlessly live our perfection.

" Mi presencia ira contigo, y te daré descanso". (Exodo)

  40. Oh Suzanne, what an inspired Lift! I have spent much of my life in a rural area, and yet I can see and acknowledge that every step had been already planned, and totally in accord with the divine Will. Wherever my destination, and however the method of travel, I always knew that the whole tour was perfectly planned - including the people I met, and the places I slept - right down to the tiniest detail by our beloved Father - Mother, Good.
Thank you Nate and the production team; the BoL and lecturers; and each and every Lifter along the Way.

  41. Yes, God is indeed our official "opener" of thought, heart, doors, the way, every needful thing all day every day for everyone. A very expansive thought to begin with today. Love and thanks to you, Suzanne for the send off, and all the Lifters, DL, and BoL. We are so loved, so blessed, so cared for eternally.

  42. How lovely! Exactly what I needed to hear today. This is a very comforting and inspiring Lift. For me, it has an "awakening" effect. Much love & gratitude to the whole Lift Team.

  43. What an honest and caring lift. It reminds me of Mary Baker Eddy's definition of Church in Science and Health with key to the Scriptures on page 583.

  44. Thank you.

  45. Thank you, Suzanne! I am going thru some challenges right now that are pushing me to take a firm stand for Christian Science. I have realized that I have been too wishy washy in letting my friends and the world mold my thoughts and way of Life. I am stamping my foot and declaring: "I am a Christian Scientist and you can't tell me otherwise!" "I am a Christian Scientist and proud of it!" "I am a Christian Scientist and I don't care what you think about that!" "Thank God, I am a Christian Scientist!"

  46. Thank you, Suzanne

  47. When I was in school, a dear friend would offer to carry my books for me. Now, I'm grateful God is helping us with our spiritual books too.

  48. A beautiful reminder! Thank you, Suzanne.

  49. How perfect Suzanne, thank you for the inspired thought - very very helpful.

  50. Thank you, Suzanne, for a very helpful lift. I am also learning to expect our divine Father-Mother to close some doors. In my spiritual progress I have to step back at times to release things I no longer believe and am no longer influenced by, nor yearn for. In looking forward through the open doors and beautiful avenues of progress, I more happily acknowledge that God in HIs wisdom which we reflect, brings us joy in letting go, or closing the door, on attitudes and habits that do not bless. Learning to talk less, and with more discretion, love, and foresight when I do converse has been one of the most joyful closings of yak yak doors! Thanks to everyone for their well-chosen thoughts and words and thank you again, Suzanne.

  51. Ahh, & what's great is that the hours that the "Divine Concierge" is available is 24/7.

This concept is a wonderful tool. Much gratitude for this inspiration. Loving regards,

  52. Great lift!!!! I too love the thought of God as my concierge.
As I listened, what came to thought was the importance of living, seeing, understanding from a spiritual basis. As Mrs. Eddy puts it in Science and Health(p.323:3) : "When understanding changes the standpoints of life and intelligence from a material to a spiritual basis, we shall gain the reality of Life, the control of Soul over sense, and we shall perceive Christianity, or Truth, in its divine Principle."

  53. Ah hah! You're right. I knew it!

As porters (of the door of thought), we must depend on the concierge to direct us to the right luggage. He is ALWAYS at the door and can prevent us from carrying in heavy bags that do not belong to anyone.

I have found that it is better to do this at the door, than to hoist it all inside and then call on the Concierge to help us sort it out. Oh yeah. Some luggage needs to remain unclaimed. The Concierge knows.

  54. Thank you for this wonderful lift. I, too, was raised in a very rural area. No Christian Science Church to attend either. But, God held me close and spoke to me all through the many years until I found Christian Science as a senior in college. Your lift verifies to me that God is always our source of unconditional good as I truly experienced hearing the angel thoughts that kept me on the right path to a greater understanding of God. Thank you so much for this inspiring and comforting lift.

  55. As usual, thanks to all. Love this community.

  56. Thank You Suzanne, I love the Idea of God helping me.

  57. Thank you Suzanne!
And thanks for all the comments from the huge Daily Lift family!

  58. Thank you for that wonderful reminder of our innate freedom.

  59. Thank you for this very welcomed thought. These lifts arrive at the moment they are needed. So much appreciation for all those that create these lifts and those behind the scenes.

  60. Oh what an inspiring, uplifting new way of thinking about God and our relationship to him/her. These lifts just prove over and over the limitless Godlike ideas that are always available to those who are intently listening. Thank you one and all. El Paso Patt

  61. Wonderful lift Suzanne, very humbling. I love the truth that while we try to be self reliant, God has a better plan for each of us, if only we turn to him for constant guidance. A friend of mine told me about a saying that a man put on his wife's headstone. She was very fond of the expression and would often say it: "God blessed me as much as I would let him." God's goodness is infinite and ever present and how true that we do not live self-made lives. The greater our consecration to good the more we become ourselves, the spiritual ideas that God made us to be. As you said, God truly is our divine concierge and we can depend on him to open the doors we need.

  62. What a blessing--thank you, Suzanne!

  63. Thank you! So helpful. You help me to see that we are the very expression of God, good. We are not self- made but reliant on God for our life, thoughts and well being. Thank you.

  64. How original ! God as Concierge. We have come a long way from the concept of the Good Shepherd to the Concierge. Somehow shepherding seems more 'restful' than concierging because it's hard to make a sheep out of a visitor. Thanks for the chuckle.

  65. Thank you Suzanne.

  66. Thank you, Suzanne! As I am starting a new endeavor today, this message is so "right on". My divine Concierge is ever active. Many thanks.

  67. Thank you, Suzanne!
This is wonderful, and so helpful.

  68. The Little Children's prayer we taught our girls, I often think of even today as a guard and guide to depending on God for loving each of us with each thought and action. Thank you so much, Suzanne for reminding us that we can always depend on our divine concierge to open the doors of thought to everything we need.
    "Father-Mother God,
    Loving me,-
    Guard me when I sleep;
    Guide my little feet
    Up to Thee. Mis.400

  69. Thank you Suzanne, just wonderful, and (#16) Pat, for those lovely, reassuring words, (#30) Lenore, thank you for sharing your insight and to (#50) Annie, perfectly said!! Thank you all!!!

  70. Thank you Suzanne for the share today. As I prepare for the Wednesday service (which I titled, Following God's Plan), you hit the nail on the head.......Your Divine Concierge......not only following, but helping and guiding and showing the way.

  71. Thank you Suzanne and all for these comforting words

  72. Comment #45 by Bevi, Standpoint, ID Is exactly what I am going through right now. In fact I find myself screaming the Truth way before I ever heard today's Daily Lift. I also am discovering the more understanding of how God governs, the more resistance from others to my way of thinking I experience. My CONCIERGE, God is ever with me to fight the temptation to give in to error. At this moment in human history is no time to give up studying C/S, for the more error screams is proof of your demonstration.

  73. Thank you Suzanne. I looked up concierge in my little electronic dictionary and it said, manager or doorkeeper. I think that is a good idea to keep in mind today, my manager or doorkeeper is God, always there to help and assist me. Thank you again.

  74. Thankyou! Just the right idea I needed - the door held open, baggage carried, needs met, guidance given, help offered, by all loving God Perfect!

  75. What a great lesson, Suzanne!!

In recent years, I've felt very responsible for managing everything: house, finances, career, family relations, my own well-being, food, meals, clothes. Plus, I've always been a list-maker. I typically will listen to God about my day, but I still make a list or a schedule for myself almost every day.

But one day, as I was sorting out my priorities in order to make the perfect to-do list, God said "I have already designed your day." I got the message, and I dropped that day's list immediately.

By the end of that God-focused day, someone had purchased a very nice piano for me, and I had helped another person, as well as the small family business that I hired to deliver the piano. The demonstration for me, I think, was being able to receive, instead of feeling so self-made (and limited). There was a moment when I had to say "yes" and I was able to say it.

"I have already designed your day." So much bigger than my lists!

  76. You Lifters have shared SO many great elaborations of this analogy and wonderful experiences to corroborate it --- too many to list here! I'm loving God "knowing thoroughly the city of God" in order to direct us, knowing the right luggage that belongs to us, working smarter, instead of harder, to yield to God, letting God make our to-do list, and so many more. This community is amazing and so spiritually-minded. I'm feeling so blessed, as I'm sure you are!

  77. Well, Suzanne you blew the lid off the basket so to speak. Fancy people use concierges. And now my beloved God is my Divine concierge?

I see you point. But never thought of myself as fancy. Nor God as fancy. I see God real and Good and Love. Fancy-schmancy...God and all are "big time" now!

  78. Thanks. A great reminder. Each day, for each of us, perfectly planned, outlined, complete. Thanks.

  79. We can "stand on our own two feet" as we follow God's leading only. Thank you!

  80. I just love this lift! Thank you so much.

  81. Thank you, Suzanne, for today's great Lift and thank you also to the Lifters for their responses. The Daily Lifts are always thought provoking and they give us a nudge in the right direction.

  82. Many thanks.

  83. This idea is certainly today's blessing for us all. Thank you, Suzanne

  84. I've been working along this line of thought also, and your concierge example really helped me. Many thanks.

  85. How do you know when it is God directing and not one's own mixed-up thoughts?

  86. I'm feeling so loved with this Daily Lift~ thank you Suzanne!! And to all who commented, my deepest love and appreciation!!
To #30 Lenore I too had a wonderful, sweet, and loving mother-in-law who opened the door to Christian Science. Thank you Candis!!!
    Love to all

  87. Let go! Let God!

  88. To #72 Tobias: Thank You! That is so encouraging! I'm glad you could relate! No matter how loud error screams, we must stick with the Truth and be victorious! Love the lessons I am learning! I am getting so much Stronger! And for this I am grateful!

  89. What an inspired way to explain God's constant care! This message has lifted my thought to see the strength that comes from complete dependence of our Creator to guide, govern and grace our lives.

  90. After having tried fo find solutions of my own, I found that none of them worked, then I stopped for the answer which would be given by listening - and the perfect idea came ... seems still like a miracle, made such an impression ... what a blessing to learn to depend on God, taught by you all, thanks so much.

  91. Special message to know we
are not alone or on our own.
But always have a divine hand
    to guide our way forward.

  92. So very appropriate for me and some family issues today. I know this lift will not only bless me but others who have heard it. God bless you, us and all. Thank you.

  94. Thank you for this"calm exalted thought".Wonderful way to think of Him.

  95. Especially to answer #85's question, how to know when you are hearing God and not your own thoughts? This is how I think it through ---daily. I pray persistently that God is my mind and I only desire to respond to the Truth, the reality God is causing, which is only good. And the logical result of that praying is to think more about the nature of God (the synonyms, the omnipotence, omnipresence. Omniscience of our Father-Mother ) more than the human circumstances, etc.

And then I pray to realize that what God says is like His nature. MIND's messages are not confusing; Life's messages are full of expectancy and hope; Truth's messages always are moral, clear, full of integrity; Love's messages are always compassionate, a universal and individual blessing, a best solution. And you can spiritually reason further... HIS messages are like HIM, full of grace and goodness. And the best thing if all to me, they are always coming. As the Christian Science Bible Lesson has it this week, there is a "divine influence, ever present in human consciousness, and repeating itself...." That divine influence will repeat its goodness and spiritual inspiration to you as many times as you need in order to understand it. God is with you.

  96. thank you Suzanne

  97. Your wonderful message came at just the right time. Thanks for being right on target!

  98. Exceptionally well enunciated.........Merci

  99. Thank you so very much Suzanne for this wonderful Lift. I was talking with
someone recently who was so concerned about rising prices and I said that
we just have to trust God. This have been proven in my experience many
times. Your Lift has help me to understand this even more clearly regarding
everything. Thanks to everyone also for the inspiring comments.

I still find your Lift a few weeks ago so inspiring which was entitled Live Like You
    Are Loved.

  100. Angela Manchester England 2/26/2013
I have only just started reading these lifts - I was brought up in christian science and over the
years have returned to it now and again but this time I feel such peace within myself that I
want to read more and learn and gain more understanding I'm drawn to reading my daily lift
    every day. Thank you.

  101. God's law applies to each detail. That's how He cares for us wholly.

  102. Simply beautiful, Suzanne. Yesterday God, my Concierge, opened yet another door for me which lifted yet another element from my life that claimed its necessity for me to rely on it for supply. I am now free of that suggestion and that freedom allows me even more time to devote to the practice of Christian Science. Much love to you.

  103. I think this is a concept that Americans sometimes have trouble with, feeling they are "self-starters," so this lift is instructive for us. Thank you Suzanne.

  104. Thanks for this thoughtful message.

  105. Thank you. What a unique but true idea.

  106. Suzanne, that has lifted my Spirits and given me the reminder I needed to have me on my way. Grateful for your kind contribution.

  107. Thank you again for these wonderful Lifts. Divine Love prepares and guides us every step of the way.

  108. This was wonderful!! Thank you so much!

  109. To Angela Logan #100: I was so "sophisticated" when I was 17 I left Sunday School, and did other things. But after a few years I returned. It was God who not only called me, but directed me, kept me steady and answered every question and need. I always felt guilty that I had left Christian Science, especially as when I returned the people I had left, greeted me as though I had never been away. Later, much later I realized I may have thought I left Sunday School, but the Christ had certainly never left me! And the Christ has never left you, Angela. The Christ embraces you just as the Father in the parable of the Prodigal Son, ran to his precious returning son. Welcome home.

  110. Sincere gratitude Suzanne,
God does have a plan, a way, an open door, it is up to me to listen, follow and walk thru that doorway.
    Much love and peace, Carol

  111. Our forever Pastor Emeritus gives, “Yes; the good Shepherd does care for all, and His first care is to separate the sheep from the goats; and this is among the first lessons on healing taught by our great Master.” [To Loyal Christian Scientists in this and every land, “Blind Leaders,” from Miscellaneous Writings, found in Prose Works other than Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, page 370.]

  112. Wendy - Western Australia
Thank you so much for this help for today and it will be for every day.

  113. Today, my car door's ding was fixed instantaneously and priced so low I couldn't mistake the plan of God who provides all (the Concierge). To everyone's surprise the one and only gentleman who lived in another city who could make such repairs appeared as we were discussing him at the car repair dealer. He took only five minutes for the job. And we thought we were just out for the entire day driving around to get estimates! The Sunday the ding happened the other car's owner offered to pay for the ding as well. No anger expressed by anyone. Harmonious listening for God led to a harmonious inexpensive outcome. Thank you Ms. Reidel, thank you Daily Lift channel and workers and all wonderful Ideas.

  114. Thank you, Suzanne, for the reminder to just yield! Sometimes when I lose focus of my God, my source of strength and health and happiness, I feel so all alone and overwhelmed. What am I thinking? God is always maintaining His position as concierge, ready for the smallest need or greatest task. Thank you for the reminder that I am not alone EVER, but can turn to Him ALWAYS.

  115. As someone who works as a concierge in a senior living community, I am becoming more mindful each day to keep my thoughts open to God, especially when confronted by residents who want to tell me about their physical ailments and mental challenges. Today's lift gives me a wonderful new connection to my job. Thanks to Suzanne and the many insightful comments from others.

  116. Thank you, Suzanne -- I first learned of a "concierge" in French class. I think of cozy French hospitality and how that fits God well! (I actually experienced this friendly hospitality in Paris!)

  117. Wonderful message! Thanks.

  118. Thank you.

  119. Thank you all for a very special Lift & loving, inspired comments. Exceptional!

  120. Hang in there Bevi! We're all students of Christian Science to some degree. I thank God that I'm aware of it. And on this note, we don't have to fight for ourselves, or react to the world, God defends us. Look at Jesus' example, he turned the other cheek, God always provided a path out of all persecution for him. And beside, you know you're on your right path, because Jesus said himself, "Blessed are ye, when men...shall persecute you...for so persecuted they the prophets before you." And, later in the Sermon on the Mount, "Love your enemies...pray for them...which persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." He goes onto mention that there are rewards in heaven for loving and seeing as God does.
I am grateful for your strength in the beautiful state of Idaho, and for the endeavors of students of Christian Science everywhere, however the Christ-consciousness finds them and appears to them!

  121. Christ Jesus freely admitted he could do nothing of himself, and look at the world-changing effect his humble deference to his Father continues to have. Thank you, Suzanne, for your close engagement with all who've publicly commented. Your second response, #95, is specific and universally applicable -- so helpful!

  122. Thank you so much Suzanne." We exist as expression of God........'Thanks again.

  123. Thank you. I just love the idea of a divine concierge and I know we are always taken care of by God. Yesterday on our road trip we were shown how to find the perfect stopping place for lunch just when we needed it and all our needs were met. There was even a petrol station next door so we could fill up and make the long journey home without stopping again. I thought at the time we were truly blessed and your lift has explained that so beautifully.

  124. Thank you, Suzanne, for your helpful reply to #85's question.
