  1. Thank you Kari for this wonderful Lift. How important our understanding is of the presence of the Christ in our lives. It awakens us not only to the realization of "God with us", as individuals, but allows us to know that this presence fills all space and is ever-operative that enables us to pray for the world. It is Christian Science that unlocks this sacred, precious, and practical truth, so that we may demonstrate and bearing witness to the presence of Christ! Thank you again.

  2. Everyday is Christmas for me as I open these spiritual gifts. I am also inspired by the comments. I am so grateful. Thank you, Priscilla

  3. thank you Kari. The everpresence of Christ, always every minute with us.....what joy.
    love to all with joy

  4. Kari, Thank you. Christ, Truth, is here.

  5. Jesus may be no longer with us, but, the Christ, the spiritual idea of God, the Father, which he embodied, will always be within us, guiding us, protecting us, and enabling us to go higher.

The healing Christ is and ever will be with us, giving us the strength to follow his example, wherever we are.

“Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” John 14:10

Juan 14:10

  6. Thank you Kari for you inspiring Daily Lift

  9. Thank you, Kari, for this clear and inspired message!!!

  10. Thank you for this great reminder that the Christ is always with us.

  12. Thank you Kari. That is so wonderful to know - Christ with us always.
Thank you to all the Daily Lift friends, the Lecturers and Nate. A very happy Christmas to all.

  13. Si it is!, Thank you

  14. Many thanks Kari for this wonderful Christmas reminder. "Christ, as the true spiritual idea, is the ideal of God now and forever, here and everywhere." (S&H 361:14). "Thou gentle beam of living Love,/ And deathless Life!/ Truth infinite, — so far above/ All mortal strife..." (MBE Christian Science Hymnal #23).

  15. If Jesus was born to "show us the way," to bear out our purity and innocence, to "take away the sin of the world;" and as the women of old celebrated with song, "Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands," (I Samuel), so we can answer one another joyfully in song Mrs Eddy's scientific statement, "Divine Love always has met, and always will meet, every human need."

  16. Thank you, Kari, for this wonderful healing message! Gratitude for these lovely Lifts, the DL Team, and Lifters everywhere!

  17. Thank you, beautiful message with lovely African music.

  18. Dear Kari, Than you for your sweet reminder of the ever present and ever available Christ and its healing activity. Always grateful for your inspired messages.

  19. Thank you, Kari, for this timely reminder!

  20. So good to feel the presence of the Christ - turning our thought away from the material aspects of living to the Truth which is not in the doleful song of human fears and woes. Thank you!

  21. Thank you for this wonderful reminder of what Christmas is.

  22. Thank you, Kari! So grateful that through Christian Science we have the lovely understanding of the Christ and its eternal Presence! Truly the Christ is the Reason for the Season! Looking forward to hearing your Lecture online! Christ Blessings to All! Much Love!

  23. Thank you Kari for this wonderful and supporting reminder. Yes, the everlasting presence of the Christ.

  24. Thank you, Kari. So helpful today. I remember the excellent lecture you gave a few years ago in Norway, Maine, showing the deeper views of Christ and Christmas. Daily Lift team: great music this week!

  25. I am profoundly grateful for your lecture provided in the link above, "Christmas joy! Christ brings the closer view of God" which was 51 minutes spent feeling the presence of God - very close. This Lift and the lecture are a keeper!

I also have a keeper in a quote from an article, "CHRISTMAS PRESENCE" by Chet Manchester (Journal, December 2012) which I have pasted in the front of my Full Text Quarterly. It reads, "As we cherish Jesus' life-story at Christmas-time, it's deeply healing to affirm that everything Jesus did on earth, the Christ, God's eternal Son, continues to do for us individually and collectively: heal us when we're sick, feed and clothe us, cleanse our inmost thoughts and motives, call us to our mission in life, shepherd us when we're lost, support us when we're wavering, love us unconditionally, lift us up when we're sinking." What a beautiful promise that the Christ does all these things for us individually and collectively right now and always. I see as my mission in life to love God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength; my neighbor and myself.

And thanks, Kari, for the inspiring message in this Lift reminding us that the birth of Christ was joyful and that although the physical being of Jesus is no longer with us, the Christ is ever-present with us and continues to heal and bless us with unconditional Love.

  26. "The healing Christ is present today, for each one of us, wherever we are." What a gift from our Father Mother God! And what a bonus gift we received today -- Kari's lecture, "Christmas joy! Christ brings the closer view of God". I just listened to it, and it is a wonderful way to begin the Christmas season. Thank you, Kari. Thank you, dear Mother Church.

  27. Thank you Kari.

  28. Kari, thank you so very much for this wonderful and timely Lift! I, too, am looking forward to listening to your lecture. Love the music and sweet child's voice at the end as well. And of course, the comments posted so far. Happy day everyone!

  29. Thank you Kari for your lovely reminder this morning, that "Christ is here" now with, us and always. The Christ idea presence brings, "...the kingdom of heaven on earth. Truth is revealed. It needs only to be practiced" (MBE "Science and Health, p174).

Thank you lifters and the Daily Lift Team too.

  30. Thank you for this simple and inspiring message

  31. Jesus also said that as followers, we would do greater works- healing the world of misconceptions.
Let us rejoice that God is with us in this precious duty! Thank you, Kari.

  32. Thanks, Kari, for the true Christmas spirit. And I love the music! Another gift!

  33. Thank you so much Kari, and what a great Lift, just a week before the sacred celebration of Christmas. More than an excuse to spend and spend, but in real time, the opportunity to introduce healing through Christian Science into our everyday lives among our own families and friends. Such wonderful outcomes with us on a daily basis, and all very appreciated even if not quite understood.
thank you Nate and Shannon and the team producing this wonderful Daily Lift; the Mother Church and lecturers; and the Daily Lifters from all parts of the world.

  34. I truly loved the joyful tone of delivery of your message, and the sweetest, sweetest voice of God's who signed off from Boston, Massachusetts, USA so clearly. MERRY CHRISTMAS God's little one

singing and signing off from Vancouver, USA

  35. Thank you Kari, you have touched on one of my favourite topics, and today's lift is like visiting with a dear friend because I attended a lecture you gave last October.
Talking about the light of the Christ idea, I just gave myself an early Christmas present buying the new biography of Mary Baker Eddy, "a World more bright". Taking a quick peak I couldn't put it down and devoured the whole thing. So many new little and big details, and a life lived so close to the Bible reflecting the light of the Christ, explaining with compassion the pain this light brought to the pride of dark material sense, and its need for discipline; and how this pain lashed back at the person of Mary Baker Eddy and the Christian Science movement. The light of the Christ certainly has made and is making "a World more bright." We can view with greater compassion those who are in pain this Christmas season.

  36. Thank you, Kari, for “The presence of Christ … on earth peace and goodwill toward men … the connection with the divine … ‘that life-link’ … continues with us forever …”

    Very inspiring!!!

“The time for thinkers has come” (S&H vii:13). “That life-link” belongs to all of us - to whomever wants it! Demographics don’t define the Truth of our being and semantics can’t forever distract us from claiming our oneness with God and each other, as God’s own. We can trust that we’re always linked into God’s spiritual network, no matter what seems to be.

“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? (Ps 139:7).

“There is neither Jew nor Greek … bond nor free … male nor female: for ye are all one …” (Gal 3:28).

“The physical universe expresses the conscious and unconscious thoughts of mortals” (S&H 484:13).

“Allow nothing but His likeness to abide in your thought. Let neither fear nor doubt overshadow your clear sense and calm trust …” (S&H 495:15).

“Whatever holds human thought in line with unselfed love, receives directly the divine power” (S&H 192:30).

“… This is the Science of Christianity. Jesus proved the Principle, which heals the sick and casts out error, to be divine” (S&H 473:28).

“… He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do …” (John 14:12)

“I would that all the churches on earth could unite as brethren in one prayer: Father, teach us the life of Love” (My 301:9).

  37. When I was new to C/S, I thought then and still think that The Christ is a plug in from God to mortal man explaining that mortality isn't the real being of man but spirituality is. It's like plugging into an electric socket for the light to go on. We are all plugged into God's Truths. The difference is that this plug in is never out of it's socket.

  38. A lovely message perfectly suited to these days before Christmas and everyday. Thank you.

  39. Talk about the Christ being present all the time--look at its wonderful expression through the lift and then the added unfoldment shared by No 5 and No 36, wow! The truths just bubbled up and out of their consciousness for all of us to read and cherish. What a Christmas spirit they shared. Thank you one and all.

  40. Thanks Kari for this wonderful uplifting message. It's so clear and healing in its truth.

  41. Amen!

  42. Thank you Dear Kari for the wonderful lift and lecture, we are always more blessed when hearing your voice and all the love it reveled to the world..Merry Christmas to the world and all its blessed children.

  43. Thank you so much,Kari for your message and so enjoyed your lecture!!!!
    Love to all

  44. What a thoroughly delightful and happy Christly Lift! A Christmas gift to the world. Thank you all.

  45. Much gratitude, Kari! While listening to the magnificent, immaculate ideas expressed in today's Daily Lift the following passage from Mary Baker Eddy's book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" came-to-mind: "The harmony and immortality of man are intact. We should look away from the opposite supposition that man is created materially, and turn our gaze to the spiritual record of creation, to that which should be engraved on the understanding and heart "with the point of a diamond" and the pen of an angel." (Ch.XV Genesis pp.521) Also, from "The Bible" came the verses: "Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." (John 4:34, 35) Wonderful comments from the worldwide family of Lifters --- so very helpful! Very grateful for the consecrated work of the DL team!

  46. Thank you for your beautiful and wonderful msg so elevating!

  47. Exceptionally said, thank you.

  48. Thank you, Kari, for reminding us of the true spirit of Christmas.

  49. Thank you!

  50. Thank you, Kari!

  51. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Blest Christmas to all!

  52. The living, active Christ! Thank you for this Lift!!

  53. Mary Baker Eddy's beautiful hymn says it all:
"Dear Christ, forever here and near", and "Thou gentle beam of living love". So much inspiration to balance the noisy hype of materiality which can divert our attention from the true meaning of Christmas. Not quite "bah, humbug", but I am grateful for the message of stillness, and I do thank you, Kari.
    Joyful Christmas greetings to all.

  54. Thank you very much for this message. It very clearly brings out what we need to express gratitude for during this Christmas season and always.
