Download 116Comments AAA Print October 04, 2013 martin vesely - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura for showing us two words that certainly represent the power of the Christ. Nothing is beyond the control of the one Mind. In fact, "all things" is in and of itself all-inclusive. Some examples of "all things"? The moving of mountains, the parting of seas, to name just a few. Certainly God is here today to help us with our problems. Edie in Portland - 10/4/2013 All (another name for God) things (another name for thoughts). All that is, is God and God's ideas. All things. Colossians 1:17 And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. 1 Corinthians 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all your things be done with charity. [Love] Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: Romans 8:37 Nay, in all [these] things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us Ephesians 1:22 And hath put all things under his [Christ's] feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church. John 3:35 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order. Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 1 Corinthians 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 1 John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. John 1:3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made. Romans 11:3 For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. 2 Corinthians 7:16 (KJV) I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things. Susan D Marie - 10/4/2013 Thanks!!! Needed that!!! Got a list!!! Cheers and blessings that all things are possible. Christie in Colorado - 10/4/2013 yes! Thanks, Laura. Jocelyn, Western Australia. - 10/4/2013 What a great thought to wake up to Laura. A "to do" list can seem very overwhelming but looking at it through the eyes of such inspiration gives us courage and support in whatever "it is our duty to do" - and just what is part of our contributing experience to the day and our community. I love to wake up to a message from the hymns and this morning " prove unreal" led me to hymn 391, verse 3: Then rise and greet the signs that prove Unreal, the ages' long lament; The "one far-off divine event" Is now, and that event is Love. Goes along perfectly with the current lesson which includes the story of the good Samaritan - such an example of unselfed love. Thank you for the lovely lift. Scott - 10/4/2013 Yes, yes, yes. Great lift. God doesn't know anything about "to do" lists because His work is already done. When we remember, "He performeth the thing that is appointed for me", the weight and burden of personal responsibility drops away, and we realize it is His ability being expressed through us. We are transformed from a thinking, planning, scheming, achieving mind to a mind at ease in a sate of awareness through which divine ideas can flow. And then, truly, "all things are possible." Karen G - 10/4/2013 Perfect!! Thank you. Monika from PA and Berlin - 10/4/2013 Thank you. Laura, for this great lift as an assuring reminder that with Christ all things are possible. With divine love and light within our heart all will be joyful accomplished. Thanks again. Rosie - 10/4/2013 Dear Laura, Thank you for a lovely start to my day which seemed to hold 'things to do' that felt a bit beyond my capabilities. With God, all things are possible - perfect! With love to all 'lifters' out there as their day unfolds. Deborah Isle of Man - 10/4/2013 Thanks Laura. I've got a long 'to do list' as well. Your 'Lift' is helping. denise - 10/4/2013 thank you, it was just what I needed! Denise Cathy - 10/4/2013 Love this.....thank you....as always, the timing of the lift is just perfect.....angel messages...:) Margaret Sunshine Coast Australia - 10/4/2013 Laura, that to do list is always there! We can get to the end of it one day at a time, and then it's back again! But the point is God created every thing - it's all done, complete and perfect, and God saw it was "very good." There have been plenty of times when I thought I was the one who did it all. All by myself, and was well pleased. But now I just go to God first of all, and it all goes so smoothly. So without a hitch. It's not easy to live alone, but when I have to open a jar, or lift something heavy, I just say, "It's over to you, God!" And the cap is unscrewed, the load is lifted and put on a high shelf, all without a personal sense of effort. It could even be set to music! Thank you Nate and the team for a great week of Lifts and music to TMC, and to our infinitely able family of Lifters. Minal Chulani - 10/4/2013 Thank you for this wonderful uplift . Its just what I wanted I cant seem to download But the comments is good Maurice Dawson, Belfast - 10/4/2013 Laura, Thank you. Elena Shideler, California (San Diego) - 10/4/2013 The problem was over my head, insurmountable! Days turned into months, then years, and nothing changed. Suddenly I remembered Jesus promise, that with a little faith nothing will be impossible (Matt. 17:20) I am not anxious anymore, now I know that “For Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen.” Rom 11:36 The problem didn’t glorify God, it couldn’t be real! I am strong again. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. Phil.4:13 I am not alone! Soy fuerte otra vez. "Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece". Phil.4: 13 ¡No estoy sola! June U.K. - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura, this is so helpful, and then to recall that Jesus said "Of mine own self I can do nothing" (John 5) So MANY thanks to one and all involved with this Daily Lift, and above all to Mrs Eddy who by the Grace of God revealed this wonderful TRUTH for ALL mankind to share! LOVE to ALL. Heinz - 10/4/2013 Prima, Laura, danke! Rosalinda Johnson - 10/4/2013 Oh, thank you so much. What a beautiful and useful and memorable message! Malcolm Drummond, Henrietta NY - 10/4/2013 Many thanks Laura for this wonderful reminder: "With God [divine Love] all things are possible." So why do so many church people disagree with their "Yes but...?" "Things deemed impossible I dare,/ Thine is the call and Thine the care,/ Thy wisdom shall the way prepare;/ Thy will be done." (Christian Science Hymnal #190). Helga, Potsdam - 10/4/2013 To let God do all things make us relax in front of the list of to do today. Thanks a lot for this lift. mike uk - 10/4/2013 Thanks Laura-Just perfect. Steve Hopewell, NJ - 10/4/2013 WoW!!! What a triumvirate of "all things." Thank you Laura Thank you For unearthing these gems And presenting them to us With an upturned palm And an open hand.. The Bible says also, in the words of Jesus, "The Father hath not left me alone, for I do always those things that please Him." Isn't this true for all of us, here and now?! Sheena - Scotland - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura for this timely "uplift". Already things have started to fall into place with God's dear Love. Nomvula Cape Town South Africa - 10/4/2013 Laura, Thank you! This "Lift" sure"Hit the spot" This morning I somehow was feeling overwhelmed by my "running errands to do List". The " DailyLift" jerked me awake from the dream to the idea of God's All"ness.! ."I THE lORD DO ALL HESE THINGS"Isaiah 45:7. Mary H, AL - 10/4/2013 Thank you, how true when we turn to God all things become possible and we can accomplish more than we expected.. Margaret UK - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura for this great lift. When you quoted the phrase "all things are possible to God" a big smile spread across my face. - I use this almost every day in whatever I am doing. Love all the other "all things" quotes from lifters. What a harvest of strength, I'll be noting all these down in my journal. Now I'm off to visit some friends, my first job of today. Christine - 10/4/2013 Thank you, Laura, for the lovely, helpful, and healing Lift! So very grateful for these Lifts, the DL Team, and Lifters all! Judy, New Hampshire - 10/4/2013 Laura, your lift brings a much needed thought for us all today! Thank you. Mrs. Eddy teaches in "Science and Health" that one divine Mind is directing, and produces all action. We can complete God's purposes for us each day with the harmony, grace and joy he gives us. There is no inaction, under action, over action, or reaction in divine Life, Truth and Love. Thank you lifters all! And the Daily Lift Team also for your work bringing us this forum. Evelin Frizotti - 10/4/2013 Thanks for this lift! It is really important we know " all things are possible to God" ! Chris. - 10/4/2013 POWERFUL. My thought is permanently shifted now as I think of 'ALL THINGS." Thanks also to those who comment. As reminded in comment section... 1- Yes, God's work is already done. 2- To see ALL THINGS as GOD'S THOUGHTS or GOD'S IDEAS shifts thought from overwhelm to joy, and I just love this!!! In true gratitude.... name - 10/4/2013 Thank you for this lift. I have had a few of those list days and been 'lifted' by those same bible references. Also, thank you to 'Margaret Sunshine Coast Australia' I always enjoy and appreciate your insights on the lift of the day, it was so very good to 'have a read' from you today. sgc Jill, Ohio - 10/4/2013 A very helpful comparison! Thank you A wonderful Sunday school lesson also. Gail Smith - 10/4/2013 Powerful! Loved it, Thank you! Lynn - 10/4/2013 Thank you. Wonderful reminder! Kit from Covington, La. - 10/4/2013 What a wonderful and strengthening perspective. That's what I love and am so grateful for the Daily Lifts because the freshness and uniqueness of spiritual inspiration always shines forth. Love it! Thanks for sharing. Jonathan, UK - 10/4/2013 Thank you; I had the thought as I clicked on the 'Daily Lift' e-mail : " I haven't got time to stop and listen to this today" - so glad that I did; just the message I needed to hear! Troy from Barbados - 10/4/2013 Hi Laura, Thank you for that perfect Lift. I listened to it before I went for my ride and it was the right thought to take with me. Thank you to the other Lifters as well..loved the Comments especially Edie's (#2). I had set that as a task for myself as well. This week at work an announcement was made of restructuring with some obvious reduction in workforce. The atmosphere is therefore rather heavy. Listening to the Lift this morning and seeing the sun light the clouds with a deep yet brilliant egg yolk yellow (no I did not photograph it :-) ) called my attention the thought of supply. I pondered the thought of "ALL things" which includes me, my family, others on the road, Church (Barbados and worldwide), ALL workers etc etc. and how that deep yellow sun is available to all...such INCLUSIVENESS. Because the earth turns away from the sun (symbolic of us having fears, worry or anxiety) does not mean the sun isn't there. As I was reaching home..I realized that God created supply before he created demand. He created all creatures, light, sea, moon, stars, land..everything for the use of man & woman; then he made man (in His image and likeness). Supply was first. All of our needs are already met. I reminded myself that to feel the glory of the sunrise, I needed to leave the house (symbolic of leaving the comfort of bounded thought) and embrace the Light. What a beautiful way to start Friday & the Weekend. Much Love to All & to "All Things" :-) Britton - 10/4/2013 Such a clear, wonderful, needed thought for all arenas. It has made a difference. Much gratitude for sharing it.... Lori in California - 10/4/2013 "ALL" things certainly doesn't leave anything out, especially when we're doing the will of God. Thanks so much, Edie (#2) for enumerating the list of all things. One of the hymns I pray with each morning is #6, the 3rd verse: The present hour allots thy task, For present strength and patience ask; And trust His love whose sure supply Meets all thy need abundantly. Abundantly is a beautiful word along with all. We can never lack anything when knowing that God is ALL! kerry - 10/4/2013 Thank you! name - 10/4/2013 Thanks a lot for your words. Yesterday I was thinking of the word ALL and also the word ONE. Then today, you are giving us the Daily Lift with the word All. God is All. God is One. Love you all, and thank you all name - 10/4/2013 thank you laura LG - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura and all comments for all the inspirations. As I read all these comments, a thought came to me that I will paraphrase. It may have been from Waldo Emerson. Uncertain of the author; however, it's very powerful. The task is never greater than the power behind it. Of course, you all know the power behind "all things." Jesus said, "My yoke is easy; my burden is light." God is All-in-all!!!! Nancy from Yellow Springs - 10/4/2013 “Routines” come to me as I listened to your inspired idea about “all things”. Margaret 13 punctuated this for me with her referring to the never ending “to do” list. I had to laugh. Mrs. Eddy called this the “routine of such material modes” (Misc 136:3) Once we have created a fixed path (route, routine) for getting things done, we get a little caught up with ourselves as the power of achievement. Actually, there is a simple technique for getting more done. I am reluctant to call it a formula…but it is. For each half hour one spends in spiritual pursuit, you save an hour of human routine. If you see a 10 hour day before you, you can start with one hour of spiritual work and save two hours of routine. That’s really nice. I think it is part of the law which Laura was alerted to “with God all things are possible”. Let’s be clear about this. Spiritual study is not a substitute for getting things done. Spiritual attentiveness simply minimizes the time to find “all things” already taken care of. Good weekend all! nela - 10/4/2013 Thank you, Laura, for “All things … ‘through Christ which strengthens me’ … ‘for good’ … ‘with God all things are possible.’” Great answers to the nagging questions of what to do? what to do first? how to do it? when? why? where? who will help me? and then ... what's next? Thanks to you, I’ve got my daily “to do” list done!!! Rejoice and be glad that this is God's day and not the day of nagging questions, confusion, exhaustion, or "overwhelmed-ness." Let God be God to me. Do all things that need doing. Ask God for help prioritizing. Accept the strength of Christ. Focus on Good only. Go forward surrendering my “impossible” to God’s “possible.” Listen and follow through. Know that I can do this!!! Michael - 10/4/2013 Thanks much! How many times now do I wake up with similar thoughts as you outlined in your Lift. It was right on point--thanks so much--can use the ideas today as a heavy schedule is before me. Your wonderful Bible-based Lift lightens our load (not personal sense that does the doing) but turning our day over to God! And your Lift lightens our way--with the light of the Christ-- to show us the way we should walk. Carole in Idaho - 10/4/2013 These were words that I needed to hear. Thank you for giving my thoughts a lift in"all things." name - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura, so very grateful for these ideas. Alice California - 10/4/2013 Wow! Grouping what I consider three of the most powerful and assuring readings from the bible with your lovely perceptions is great. Infinite thanks. Bevi, Sandpoint, ID - 10/4/2013 Lovely Laura Lapointe! Thank you for reminding me of Who It Is Who Gets All Things Done! Today I humbly bow before the Great I Am and know, "Not My Will, but Thine be Done". Michael Steven Van Stone, Japan - 10/4/2013 Thank you. Muffy - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura and all for your thoughts. I feel really supported RIGHT NOW! Kate - 10/4/2013 thank you, Laura, a great thought about God's thoughts and thank you to Edie in Portland, that was a Wow moment for me when I read your post Tracy C-K in CA - 10/4/2013 Thank you, Laura, and Lifters for these strong reminders and healing ideas. I appreciate all the references, hymns and experiences shared - today, these were especially helpful. Elizabeth in Texas - 10/4/2013 Thank you, very cool inspiration!!!! I love that each listener hears what he/she needs from the Lift. I felt an immediate sense of peace for my activities today as I listened to the Lift. Then I kept listening to God. I heard, all means ALL. Nothing falls through the cracks of God's allness, of God doing all things, of all thoughts and actions being harmonious, working (expressing or glorifying God) for good. Today I'm going to be conscious of the spiritual fact that all means ALL. "Our Father- Mother God, all harmonious" Daily Lift Team Quote above is from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Susan - 10/4/2013 Inspiration. You woke with it. I'm guessing you went to sleep with it. Imagine it pouring forth without end... I'm feeling the love of God, and join in with all who are doing so RIGHT NOW!!! so grateful for all the brother/ sister "Lift"ers. Almenia - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura. Beautifully said. Ruth in Idaho - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura and all the Lifters with your wonderful comments. This is something I needed to be reminded of. Following God's direction we can always do what we need to do in a peaceful and harmonious way. kaye - 10/4/2013 Thank you, Laura! TOBIAS A. WEISSMAN - 10/4/2013 Many times when I opened my e-mail box and hear a Daily Lift, that D/L would be right on track of what I needed to know for that specific day. Notwithstanding, this D/L hit it on the head. I woke up worrying if I could accomplish all the good that I wanted to do today and of course I did accomplish it, with God's ever positive help, I accomplished it. ALL THINGS can be accomplished with the most simplest thought of God as the doer, NOT I. By TOBIAS A. WEISSMAN Joe Beckwith - Genoa, NV - 10/4/2013 YES they are! Thanks. Jackie - 10/4/2013 You ave blest so many today - thank you! Lisa - 10/4/2013 Wow. This is absolutely beautiful. Barbara - 10/4/2013 Thank you. Wonderful lift! Gary Rowland - 10/4/2013 Getting things done starts with gratitude for what blessings we have received from God and joy in his strength which comes to us through the presence of the Christ consciousness. Thank you Laura and all those who are getting things done! Carole Bruns - 10/4/2013 Laura, Thank you for the wonderful "Lift" it was just what I needed today. Audrey - 10/4/2013 A perfect message. Thank you Laura! Lynn - 10/4/2013 Beautiful idea! Thank you! Charli from Bellingham, WA - 10/4/2013 Thank you so much for reminding us of the importance of placing God first as we begin each day, thus demonstrating and understanding the verse you gave us in Mark 10: 27 ---Jesus saith, "With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible" What a powerful Truth to work with each day. Thanks so much. name - 10/4/2013 This lift is so applicable to any aspect of our daily life... Thank you for pointing us to the Bible references. Boris Goldmund - 10/4/2013 Brilliant. I listened to this in bed after I started suffering in advance about "all the things " I had to do today. The Truth expressed in this Lift has remedied the demands of my day before I even put my feet on the floor. Thank you. Connie from Philadelphia, PA ,USA - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura for this inspiring and helpful Lift and to all those who lovingly commented with helpful ideas. The 3rd verse of Hymn 105 in the Christian Science Hymnal has another facet to consider in "all things": "Up unto Thee, our living Head, Let us in all things grow; Till Thou has made us free indeed, And spotless here below." I've been given so many good ideas to consider when getting done what needs to be done today and these ideas can be used everyday. When we have the right basis, the spiritual basis, when starting our day, all things are accomplished that need to be accomplished. Thank you all!! Glen of NJ - 10/4/2013 Thank you for the lift today and all the comments. A very special group. Peter Mark - 10/4/2013 Thank You, and this message came at a most helpful time. Maria Elvira - Brasil - 10/4/2013 Whenever the need appears before me these two words constitute my mantra like in Phillipians 4:13: " I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Thank you so much for your inspiration! Ruth - 10/4/2013 Wow! Magnificent! When we always put God first, all things are possible. I so love our dear Father-Mother God. Thank your for 'All Things' daily lift. Oregon Coast - 10/4/2013 Wonderful, Laura, just what I needed this morning. I'll type out those 3 verses and post them above the computer. And many thanks to all the Lifters, especially today when Elena #16 wrote "The problem didn't glorify God, it couldn't be real." and Troy #38 "God created supply before he created demand." I seem to remember some time ago another lift said to change a 'to do' list to a 'God do' list and I've shared that several times. Thanks again to all. marilyn from Idaho - 10/4/2013 Thanks Edie #2 for your research on "all things." This is a very enriching Lift, Thanks to all and God Bless. Patricia Sanders - 10/4/2013 Never having concentrated so thoroughly on the phrase "All Things", I am overjoyed with this fantastic lift. The lift and all the following comments have sent my thoughts soaring. Thank you everyone and especially No 2 for doing all that research and sharing it. Just one more thing I don't have to do, smile. El Paso Patt Diane on the Island - 10/4/2013 Thank you very much, I did surely appreciate this. I gave up writing "to do" lists as it encouraged the wrong focus, on things rather than thoughts. But who doesn't have a mental list! I also enjoyed so many of the lifters' comments, #2, #6, #44 and others.I like to keep in mind "the grace to go forward" (Hymn 278) when in the midst of a seemingly endless stream of things needing doing, or that I think need doing! Reminding myself I am reflection of the all-knowing and the all-acting helps me too to keep the right perspective. Thanks again. Geraldine - 10/4/2013 Just the reassurance I needed. Thank you ever so much! Dan in Sherman Oaks - 10/4/2013 Exactly what i need to hear today... how did you know? very most excellent. nicely put and thanks for doing this !! name - 10/4/2013 WOW , powerful lift, very helpful. Thank you. D.J. - TN - 10/4/2013 Thank you for the wonderful inspiration. Your angel thoughts, show the simplicity of the One Mind's (God's) Christ Truth, as opposed to the complexity of mortal mind's (minds many) false concepts. Esther M, Texas - 10/4/2013 Isn't is glorious how our seeming "challenge" is always met in perfect timing with an inspiring Angel Message! Thank you, Laura, for sharing this wisdom. Recently, I was facing a particularly frightening situation, and was immediately calmed and reassured when I recalled, "All things are possible through the Christ within which strengthens me," followed by the repeating of the words GOD..... LOVE. We KNOW where our strength, courage, wisdom, clarity, ideas truly come from, and this is the perfect reminder. Have a beautiful day! Edie Santa Monica, CA - 10/4/2013 Thank you all! What a blessing we have in the Daily Lift! Actually, I felt like going back to bed this morning... but I said to myself, NO read the D/L Breath of fresh air we share. My heart is singing I have found the way, Thank you with Love. Daily Lift Team "My heart is singing: I have found the way" is from Hymn 64 in the Christian Science Hymnal. kalani from Eugene - 10/4/2013 kalani from Eugene, We are in the midst of a remodeling project. A list is necessary to coordinate the dates, get things ordered and check them off when they have arrived. Knowing that God is All-in-All, I can surrender the feeling of confusion that wants to say, "Where does that paint go? Is that the right number of pieces of tile?" and allows me to take a breath. All the knowledge I need is right here, right now. God is the "knower," and in that there is peace. Lita from Ontario, Canada - 10/4/2013 Thank you Laura. I love to remind myself quite often thinking " With God all things are possible". Margarita from Buenos Aires - 10/4/2013 Well done Laura, this is a very rich and inspired message, thank you very much. Gaye Glendale, AZ - 10/4/2013 Lovely, Thank you. Thank you, Laura, for an inspired and inspiring Lift. Stephanie - 10/5/2013 Excellent!!!!! Carol 10-4-13 - 10/5/2013 Glad to know that "God is the same yesterday, today, & forever." And Christ Jesus is too. Even though my staying on target to get things done has not panned out for me, I can still hope to do better tomorrow and be grateful for my blessings today. I'm grateful also for the Daily Lifts. Thanks for your demonstration Laura. name - 10/5/2013 All these wonderful ideas are blessing me a day later. Thank you Laura and all you Lifters. Hymn 134 says, "Thy hand in all things I behold, And all things in Thy hand." The whole hymn is a gem, and so is this Lift! Marilyn - 10/5/2013 Wonderful reminder that I can trust that the work given me to do is God -given and God-directed. name - 10/5/2013 Thank you. name - 10/5/2013 thanks Fay - 10/5/2013 Thank you for this tender perceptive message. I will never see the wor4ds "all things" the same way. You have added depth and greater meaning to those familiar words. name - 10/5/2013 Thank you. Andre, Sunrise,Fl - 10/5/2013 As in the trend of #6 Remember that "I" am in the world but not of the world! We have to deal with the physical existence as a list of daily chores. So, "I" RELY entirely on the Father , who reflects in our Oneness all the qualities needed, for the accomplishment of the day. It is a mental spiritual attitude recognizing "Who" is in reality governing all the happening and the beings. Bless u all Eric, Potsdam, NY - 10/6/2013 Thank you Laura.
