Thank you, Barbara, for these sacred words. "If you obey my commands-----you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." We need to be awake to his commands before we can obey them, don't we? Such a wonderful reason to stay awake to God's Kingdom! The servants of the prodigal's Father were awake and full of love to go and get the royal garments for the son, at the Father's command. Let's take off the old, and put on a new perception today. Barbara: This is one of the most inspiring message that I ever heard. Today is the day of the great awakening! I was thinking this morning, how stars on the celestial sphere were grouped together into constellations and together just move in perfect harmony and perfect equilibrim without touching each other, and just radiate and do not have to beg each other (or excuse themselves) just move each other in perfect harmony with their luminosity and radiance,..
Why not us today?
Why not to be awake and aware that today everything is just moving in the perfect direction and harmony together with "The Celestial Science ofl Bieing"? We are enjoying our onesness with God and we radiate inner joy. Thanks a bunch!. .

Thank you so very much for this call to "wake up"--from the dream of life in matter, the illusion that anything unGodlike can shape or determine our moments and days. Very interesting what has just happened to me!
I was trying to open the file of todays´daily lift and didn´t succeed, so I started reading the comments about been alert, aware or awoken and immediatly I affirmed that nothing can prevent me from been aware, alert or awoken to the only Truth that governs and guides me. After a quite number of trials to open the file I finally succeeded!
The words poured into my conscience filled me with great joy!
Even when we are apparently sleeping God is watching and caring for us, for He never sleeps or rests and so are we.
Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks so much, Barbara. What a lovely message today - Remembrance Day. I awoke this morning knowing that we are honoring those who have unselfishly and fearlessly served their countries; not those who have "fallen." It seems that I am often hearing the daily lifts in the middle of the night because I have not been able to sleep. There are so many advertisements these days for sleep aids, and many people feel stress and anxiety from insomnia, and the media overwhelms us with stories of celebrities who seek the most dangerous and deadly means of dealing with their inability to sleep. But today's lift tells us that it is not in the unconsicous repose of sleep that we find true rest and renewal; rather, they are found only in being awake to Spirit. I will now be less concerned with sleeping (or not sleeping) and focus my efforts on being more spiritually awake. Thank you.

- 11/11/2009Loved this thought of being brand new every morning! Sometimes I go a step further and say "we are brand new every MOMENT" that does away with any thought of age or the lie of "time"......this is such a powerful and healing thought, thank you so much!

- 11/11/2009Today I received an email from someone saying nothing ever stays the same - everything changes. I believe that God's love never changes. It is always the same and always will be. Thank you!

- 11/11/2009Barbara: This is one of the most inspiring message that I ever heard.
Thanks a bunch!. .

- 11/11/2009Absolutely beautiful! This touched my heart; this is exactly what I needed to hear today. Thank you!

- 11/11/2009My thought today, is "seeing clearly God's creation"...Your thoughts about waking to the Christ and Truth go along perfectly with this. Thank you.

- 11/11/2009Barbara, Thank you so much for your thoughtful message today about being awake to God's call, each moment in spirit. Also for pointing out the negative side of not being awake - inattentive, careless, unconcerned. This message makes me think of Jesus' words - arise, take up thy bed and walk. I am up!! :)

- 11/11/2009Thank you so very much for this call to "wake up"--from the dream of life in matter, the illusion that anything unGodlike can shape or determine our moments and days. Right now, I am opening my heart to the truth of waking up to the utter powerlessness of the belief of contagion. Thank you for this truly up-lifting thought.

- 11/11/2009Thanks for the uplift! I am waking up and putting on the "new man".

- 11/11/2009Very interesting what has just happened to me!
Awakening to the newness and freshness of God's angel thoughts is all we can be doing as The reflections of Mind, God. God is pouring forth more than we accept. How lovely to know that we are awake and never can sleep. Thank you so much for this daily lift.

- 11/11/2009Awake to the demands of Love; watchful for the blessing to express; gratitude for all that Love gives; joyful to demonstrate the new way of be-ing - life in the moment, in the Now! Thank you Ms Fife, for all these thoughts you inspired today!

us, forever unfolding so I pray to be awake and aware and listen
to the still small voice of Truth.

- 11/11/2009Thanks so much, Barbara. What a lovely message today - Remembrance Day. I awoke this morning knowing that we are honoring those who have unselfishly and fearlessly served their countries; not those who have "fallen." Each one of us is awake to know that man has never fallen and never could fall from the arms of Divine Love, but dwells forever in His embrace. Many thanks for such an inspiring message that I will carry with me moment by moment.

- 11/11/2009I must have "heard this message" before I even "opened my eyes" this a.m.
I am very grateful for this healing message and I dearly appreciate as Lois Carlson mentioned:
..."to live with “critical discernment in thought” sounds very much like living awake to His Kingdom here and now, and it feels like a rebuke to the useless criticism of others."
The useless criticism of others...a silly novel! Definitely NOT my bio!

- 11/11/2009Thank you Barb for waking us up to the activity of the Christ, always at work in human consciousness. And thanks Ruby (#54) for the reminder to pay attention to and cherish "the still small voice" of Truth.

- 11/11/2009That was an awesome wake-up call, Barbara. "In Him, we live, and move, and have our being" reminds me that our being is the constant, conscious awareness; not only when we are up and around, but always in the moment with the Christ. That was a terrific lesson! Have a new, good and now day, every day!!

- 11/11/2009I always seem to recall hymns when I listen to the Lift,s message. Hymn #14 Arise, arise and shine, and #202 O dreamer leave thy dreams for joyful waking, o captive rise and sing for thou art free. What a wake up call for every morning. I love your dear soft voice and the message. Much love and thanks.

- 11/11/2009It seems that I am often hearing the daily lifts in the middle of the night because I have not been able to sleep. Thank you.

- 11/11/2009Barbara, Thank you so much for this wonderful message "God's wake-up call". It was what I needed to hear this morning. Knowing that I am always awake to the truth of our Divine Father Mother God Love. Giving each of us whatever it is that we need.

- 11/11/2009"Go your ways." This was overlooked by me, until recently. As each of the Daily Lift listeners go their ways today, inspired and alert in their joyous round, inspired by the same message, but so individual in its application, they are not fettered, but freed to fuller expression. Many thanks.

- 11/11/2009thanks for this summary of what it means to be awake and alert. I felt sleepy and dull last evening, but joyously awake today as I expect to receive in humility Mind's active guidance.

- 11/11/2009Thanks Barbara,
Such a good reminder to be awake! and not mentally go to sleep when we need to stay alert, and listen, and guard our thoughts (standing porter!)

- 11/12/2009Wow, Barb, thank you. This is a perfect thought for each day - to live thoughtfully in Spirit, where each day, really each moment, is new. Thank you to all the lecturers for the Daily Lifts, This is just another reminder from our Mother Church that God is with us every day, mothering us, supplying our needs, keeping us strong, and bringing His goodness to light for us. Being awake / aware of God's presence is what living is all about.

- 11/12/2009Barbara, That was great. Isn't that what our spiritual growth is all about: awaking to the Truth of being, the consciousness of true being, whereby false beliefs or unconsciousness vanishes!
