Beautiful and clear explanation of God's, Love being part of everything we do.

God is Love, so “Walk with Love along the way” (CS Hymn 139)
Love being God, the Principle of all that exist, gives us the balance of all the qualities of thought we need to bring our purpose to fruition.
…and learn from Jesus humility… “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me” John 5:30

Lindsey,
Thank you for your very well stated, chosen and reassuring comment on God's and Christ's closeness and their guidance in all that we do.When I take God, Christ and Principle with me in all that I do, I am both comforted and encouraged.I then find God, Christ, Principle taking me good places and doing good things I would never have outlined.
For me Life is a spiritual adventure, a spiritual eternal venture.
In searching for help and guidance, years ago this came the following came to me,
Dear Father-Mother God, loving me'
Help me to be all for thee
Dear Christ Jesus, leading me
Help me to see the pathways
Thou has made for me
In thee I trust
Again, thank you Lindsey

Thank you Lindsey,
Lovely and so peaceful. Thanks Elena #2 and Ken #13 and to the other Lifters. Loved reading your posts.
Some months ago I found that my weeks were rather busy with assisting people. One lady in particular needed a lot of moral & physical support as she dealt with the passing of her only close relatives on the island. She has no children.
A friend and I were talking and when she realized why I was so busy she remarked that she was glad to have kids that will be there for her when she needs them. She turned to me and said "what will happen to you? You don't have any kids or younger siblings to look after you when you get older"
On my way home I handled the thought of time bringing aging, pain, problems & loneliness. After a while that thought was replaced with the eternal nature of our individuality, without age or limits.
Days later as I sat to read, the thought came to me "but what would happen, if you did need help as you got older?" and like a reassuring whisper of Truth a soft voice said "You have Me (God)" The healing was complete.
Every Sunday at Church it is read from I John 3:1 "Behold what manner of love, the Father hath bestowed upon us..." which I realized could be interpreted to mean "Understand this; we have the capacity to love & demonstrate this love unconditionally, forever and without limits because we are the embodiment of love. Let us therefore know no fear; for love, perfect & Godly, removes fear.
Thanks!

"Everything we do, we do with Principle... with the ability to follow through on an idea and complete it."
This is very applicable to the times when we are praying to correct thought, praying for a healing that may seem delayed. The prayers will bring the right inspiration, the right graces from Spirit, to realize a complete understanding in thought and its accompanying demonstration in our lives, because Principle is itself whole, complete.
Thank you, Lindsey, thank you Nate!

Thank you, Lindsey! It just hit me that the whole belief that we are separate from God is the cause of all our problems! If we really aren't separate from God, but are really One with Him, than it's impossible to do anything on our own! And when we think we're doing it on our own, that's when the ole human ego kicks in and the troubles start! WOW! I guess that's why we pray and study every morning - to establish our conscious, constant Oneness with God! Happy, Lovely Weekend to All!

What an enlightening thought you've shared! Thanks so much, Lindsey. All the things I do, or worse, don't get done, flash before me! How impossible! This is exactly what we learn in Christian Science, but I needed this Lift. It stretches the scope, and narrows the possibilities to only be able to do ANYTHING with God, not that doing with Him is a narrow field at all! This gives me hope some "impossible" or stubborn tasks will get accomplished! CS Hymn 139, by Minny M.H. Ayres, is playing in my thought with many variations. Some are: I work with, and depend on Principle along the day, I plan and understand with Mind, I live and improve (unfold) with Life, I work and sparkle with Spirit, I see and rest with Soul, I'm safe and trust with Truth, I'm provided for, and comforted with Love, and one more synonym I always include (1st John1:5) I shine and am inspired with Light. "O, it is a holy day"! This Lift is a full collection of spiritual snack food to munch on all day, and every day. It will be wonderful fun to think of more ways to use this, and to share little or big bites with others. #13 Ken, Precious poem & prayer! #34/35 Troy, Thanks.

" In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth...and God saw everything that he had made and behold it was very good.( Genesis ). God's work was completed in the creation and there are no new needs or problems that God has not already supplied the answer to in that complete creation. What a wonderful aasertion to use in our prayers knowing that " It is God that doeth the work". ..yielding up self we allow God to reveal his good plan for us in all circumstances

Thanks, Lindsey, for “Do everything with God ‘… with God all things are possible …’” As I’ve grown in understanding the practicality of Christian Science, I “do (almost) everything with God.” And human will continues to yield more and more readily to the Science of being. There is so much to gain in turning to God first and always. I love this explanation, in Science and Health under the marginal heading “Practical Science,” on page 128, “The term Science, properly understood, refers only to the laws of God and to His government of the universe, inclusive of man. From this it follows … that Christian Science enhances … endurance and mental powers, enlarges … perception of character, gives … acuteness and comprehensiveness and an ability to exceed … ordinary capacity. The human mind, imbued with this spiritual understanding, becomes more elastic, is capable of greater endurance, escapes somewhat from itself, and requires less repose. A knowledge of the Science of being develops the latent abilities and possibilities of man. It extends the atmosphere of thought, giving mortals access to broader and higher realms. It raises the thinker into his native air of insight and perspicacity.” What a grand spiritual adventure this earth journey promises to be when we “do everything with God!” Might this be the dominion we were given in Genesis?

Oh, so needed, especially at this time of apparent discord in Syria, in the US election cycle, in Pakistan, and all over the world. We need to be vigilant in how each thought appears and is held in consciousness--whether from God or from so-called mortal sense which cannot help and heal.
Einstein said, "I want to know God's thoughts. The rest are details." But God provides for even the tiniest of details, too, if we are listening to the Eternal! And we DO want to be governed by the divine Mind to see that this is the gentle control of Love and Truth that leads to a constant, conscious understanding of who we are and what our purpose is. Thank you so much, Lindsey, for this pure thought.

Yes. Man (God's idea, man) can do NOTHING without God; this is a spiritual fact.
The human concept of what humans do, or don't do, or want to do, or can or can't do, is another thing.
The entire "human doing" is a misperception of what is actually going on in God's universe.
(This is explained fully in Mary Baker Eddy's book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.)
Until mankind entirely awakens to the spiritual facts, the best thing to "do" is to blend, line up,
coordinate with the true fact of God's doing all and man expressing this allness, as much as possible.
What a joyful journey! (When it doesn't feel joyful, one best take a closer look at one's concepts/activities/etc.)
God is doing ... US! (Man and the Universe!)

I'm beginning to see that all our blessings come from God, even the little ones.

Our work is to ask God what is the real need?
And then do something.

After listening to today's LIFT, I went directly to an auto shop. With me, in the waiting room, were 3 young mothers --- one with her 8 month old son ton her lap. They were discussing at what point their children should or shouldn't have certain things happen --- (ie. no haircut before a year old, nursing recommendations, et.al.). They were having a happy time and it was easy to see them in our LIFT perspective. Repeatedly, one of their consideration points would bring out the comment: "Oh no, that's an old wive's tale!". I was reading the Bible Lesson and entered their conversation with the Golden Text quote from I Timothy: "Have nothing to do with . . . silly myths". They all liked that and went on with comments that supported no limitation for their babys or themselves. It was a joyous morning. Thank you DAILY LIFT!

Maravilloso y ayudador Lift!!!
Nunca solos actuando, siempre unidos a El .
Cristy

Just recently I have been asked how I have coped over the year s with what your would call tradgedy. I have felt like a Joseph and his adversity. I said to them, since your really want to know where I get my strength it is from my study of Christian Science. God is with me, he has carried me and I do everything with God. Everything depends on the spirit with which we face things. Jesus showed us how to turn every interruption as an opportunity to know that God is with us and lift us to the very heights of God.

Lindsey, your absolutely right. When we do something, whatever it is, if it's based on what we know of God, it comes out right. If it based on what one thinks, it's an iffy kind of thing. I know, I experienced it many times. There is really nothing we can do by ourselves or for ourselves if, as I do, ask God before doing it.

Am grateful to be reminded that we do
all things with God.
It sometimes seems as though I am making
my own decisions and doing things on my
own.
But if I keep my thought in tune with God

Thanks, Lindsey, for the reminder that attitude counts in our doing! I have always been taught that anything worth doing is worth doing well and as God's reflection, our doing should also be in keeping with that of our Father-Mother-God - 100% thorough and with conviction. When I feel overwhelmed, I remind myself to "uplift your thoughts, with courage go" and know that I am not alone in the doing, but have God's help from start to finish.

How true. We do! do everything with God, thou some persons may not realize it. A C/S Practioner, when I was a novice in the study of C/S pointed out to me that my whole life was totally in God's hands. And also she pointed out that God needs me to reflect him. So if I reflect God and do every thing with God, then every thing will turn out right. That is quite a wonderful thought, isn't it?

I needed these thought, as sometimes, I feel that I am hurrying through life's demands without a spiritual purpose. At the end of a day, I often feel that I am never done. All your thoughts are helpful. Thank you. I will slow down, today, right now, and do what I have to do with a new sense of purpose--and do it with God. Ann Botts, Banning, CA

Thank you! S&H says: " Will-power is capable of all evil. It can never heal
the sick, for it is the prayer of the unrighteous; while
the exercise of the sentiments — hope, faith, love — is the
prayer of the righteous. This prayer, governed by Science
instead of the senses, heals the sick." I have been mentally chewing on this sentence for a few weeks. Your dayly lift explains another step in the details of practice. Thanks to every one, for producing the Lifts and for commenting on them.

Daily Lifts and comments are such an inspiration! Thank you for this very beautiful Lift. It is never too late to change our ways and return to the basics. Daily Lifts keep their power to help and uplift for a long time, whether we listen to them fist thing every morning, or go back and hear them again later. ... "walk with God along the way... uplift your thought... give of your heart's rich overflow... " (hymn #139) and joy and peace will be yours.

- 9/14/2012God is Love, so “Walk with Love along the way” (CS Hymn 139)
Love being God, the Principle of all that exist, gives us the balance of all the qualities of thought we need to bring our purpose to fruition.
…and learn from Jesus humility… “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me” John 5:30

- 9/14/2012Thank you Lindsey,
Lovely and so peaceful.
Thanks!

- 9/14/2012"Everything we do, we do with Principle... with the ability to follow through on an idea and complete it."

- 9/14/2012Thank you, Lindsey!

- 9/14/2012What an enlightening thought you've shared!

- 9/14/2012" In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth...and God saw everything that he had made and behold it was very good.( Genesis ). God's work was completed in the creation and there are no new needs or problems that God has not already supplied the answer to in that complete creation. What a wonderful aasertion to use in our prayers knowing that " It is God that doeth the work". ..yielding up self we allow God to reveal his good plan for us in all circumstances

- 9/14/2012Thanks, Lindsey, for “Do everything with God ‘… with God all things are possible …’” As I’ve grown in understanding the practicality of Christian Science, I “do (almost) everything with God.” And human will continues to yield more and more readily to the Science of being.

- 9/14/2012Oh, so needed, especially at this time of apparent discord in Syria, in the US election cycle, in Pakistan, and all over the world.

- 9/14/2012Yes.

- 9/14/2012After listening to today's LIFT, I went directly to an auto shop.

- 9/14/2012Maravilloso y ayudador Lift!!!
Nunca solos actuando, siempre unidos a El .
Cristy

- 9/14/2012Just recently I have been asked how I have coped over the year s with what your would call tradgedy.

I so enjoyed your clear thoughts and lovely calming voice while listening to your Daily Lift.
It brings me right where I need to be, in God's care. I'm feeling a bit lonley sinced my dear Mama's passing this summer. I was "born" into a Christian Science home with my Mom and Grandmother to guide me in the way I should walk. I know what to do, but I just want my Mama!! I will listen to this Lift over and over for the comforting words you have givien.
Thank you so very much!

- 9/15/2012Lindsey, your absolutely right. When we do something, whatever it is, if it's based on what we know of God, it comes out right. If it based on what one thinks, it's an iffy kind of thing. I know, I experienced it many times. There is really nothing we can do by ourselves or for ourselves if, as I do, ask God before doing it.

- 9/15/2012Thank you Lindsey-
Am grateful to be reminded that we do
all things with God.
It sometimes seems as though I am making
my own decisions and doing things on my
own.
But if I keep my thought in tune with God
and seek His direction - I see what has been true all along-- that God made me, delights in me and never leaves me alone.
This is a great comfort.

- 9/16/2012Thanks, Lindsey, for the reminder that attitude counts in our doing!

- 9/16/2012How true. We do! do everything with God, thou some persons may not realize it.

- 9/17/2012I needed these thought, as sometimes, I feel that I am hurrying through life's demands without a spiritual purpose. At the end of a day, I often feel that I am never done. All your thoughts are helpful. Thank you. I will slow down, today, right now, and do what I have to do with a new sense of purpose--and do it with God. Ann Botts, Banning, CA

- 9/18/2012Thank you!

- 9/23/2012Daily Lifts and comments are such an inspiration!
