8/9: Don't worry

8/9: Don't worry

  1. Love that - Let's pray about everything.
    Thank you!

  2. Many thanks Maryl for this inspiring lift. Yes. "Prayer removes blindfolds... Be grateful in advance." "O, life from joy is minted,/ An everlasting gold,/ True gladness is the treasure/ That grateful hearts will hold." (Christian Science Hymnal #249).

  3. Meryl, Thank you for telling me that the power of prayer annihilates worry.

  4. Well said - and a reminder I can always benefit from hearing and practicing! Thank you, Maryl.

  5. What a wonderful wake-up call! I love the analogy of the blindfold. Thank you for the inspiration.
Gratutude as the antidote to worry! Before, not after, raising Lazarus, Jesus looked upward and said, "Father, I thank you for having heard me. I knew that you always hear me..." If worry is ingratitude in advance, then thanks is gratitude in advance, sort of like when we say grace before a meal. And "a grateful heart a garden is" where the flowers of healing bloom and prosper.
Much gratitude to you and all the Lifters (and the team behind the scenes).

  6. Thank you for this lift. It immediately addressed a need this morning and gave me a new direction for my mental activity today. I found your reference to thinking we are praying, when in fact we are only worrying, (albeit presumably in God's direction!), very interesting and true. Time to re read the first chapter of Science and Health again!

  7. Thanks Maryl, I love that comment that worry is ingratitude in advance. How much better to be expecting good and be grateful knowing that good is already present. Didn't the song say "Don't worry, be happy"? !! It is Woman's Day today here in South Africa, so, all you women out there, don't worry ---- be happy ! (that includes the men as well)

  8. We say we are God's image and still we worry. But, what is worry?
Nothing but Ingratitude in advance. We worry about something that hasn't happen yet and don't even know if it will!
We worry because we listen to dark thoughts, not to God, Soul.
"Soul has infinite resources with which to bless mankind, and happiness would be more readily attained and would be more secure in our keeping, if sought in Soul" S&H 60:29

  9. needless to mention that your great lift is just what I need - never worrying but to pray and giving thanks to our God - tks very much, dear Maryl.

  10. Just a lovey Daily Lift,, thank you so much...

  11. Thank you very much. This is is another, beautiful, way to remember that every moment we can choose to live in the Kingdom of heaven.

Thank you for laying out so kindly and full of hope available to everyone.

  12. Thank you.....sound advice.

  13. Excellent advice!! Thank you!

  14. As usual, Maryl, your lift is so "on point!" What a beautiful way to start the day...with gratitude vs. worry.
Thank you, and much love to you and all :-)

  15. I was up early this morning, yes, worrying. I am so excited that God sends what we need to hear, when we need to hear it. I recently read that exact same phrase, "worry is ingratitude, in advance" and it resounded with me when I read it. I'm grateful for the perfect reminder. No more time (or energy) wasted worrying on this beautiful day. Thank you Maryl, for the perfect Lift for me today.

  16. So good! Unlimited in everything.

  17. Thank you, Maryl, How very simple and how very effective.

  18. Well said, I agree with the above, how simple and how very effective. The answer is there.Stop worrying and see it!

  19. I am loving it! I always love the adage, "Why worry when you can pray?!"

  20. Thank you for your lovely lift Maryl! In Thessalonians 5: 17 we can read "Pray without ceasing", and if we do this, there's no place to "worries" in our mind. So, as you said, "don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything."

  21. What a wonderful Lift, Maryl. And Paul certainly had plenty of reasons to keep ruminating over his former life, and yet he was able to put that whole episode behind him in order to stay spiritually at one with God. He knew without a doubt that God wanted him to take the Word to Rome, and he didn't have time for other considerations or temptations. And mankind has reaped the rewards of his steadfast devotion to his prayerful life.
Thank you Nate and the production crew; the BoL and lecturers (and how mankind is reaping the benefits of Christian Science Lectures online!); and our Daily Lifters.

  22. Great advice... perfect... thank you!

  23. Thank you.

  24. ingratitude in advance - wow! thanks for another great lift!

  25. Thank you, Maryl! So helpful a reminder today. I love it and needed to hear it spoken . Give gratitude to God every moment and eliminate worry thoughts. And, thanks for all the comments too.

  26. Perfect message for me this morning! Thank you so much!

  27. Thank you Maryl for the reminder for a worry free day. Our prayers open the door to light and in that light we rediscover the grace of God. With his love and power we walk through our day and view the world with childlike wonder and freedom. Joy be our day.

  28. how many times have we been told not to worry. Instead why not "Let God in" then you will have your answer. That peace and comfort wll guide you. Thank you for the reminder.
    Pete

  29. Thanks for this loving reminder to trust in our father/mother God and pray for the good and just outcome what is on our mind. It was the much needed reminder for me today. Loving thanks, Maryl

  30. Thank you very much. Great lift. Just when needed.

  31. I had heard that fear was ingratitude in advance, but it certainly applies to worry as you so beautifully state. Fear is also False Evidence Appearing Real, which can also apply to worry. If God in omnipotent and omnipresent what in the world is there to worry about. Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need, as MBE says in Science and Health. "Always" and "every" leave no room for worry. Thanks so much for everyone responsible for bringing us these inspiring Lifts!

  32. So powerful, and so practical! Thanks very much.

  33. Thanks Maryl: A wonderful lift, and how true. Worry is ingratitude; I had not thought of it in that way before. Your message came at just the right time.

  34. I have been working with what Mrs. Eddy says in her chapter on Prayer, in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, "Physical sensation, not Soul, produces material ecstasy and emotion." (Page 7.)
This leaves no doubt to me that to abandon physical sensation results in release from worry, emotion, and provides the solution. Worry is emotion, not a quality originating with God, who is Soul.

  35. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I NEED TO HEAR THIS MESSAGE. GOD BLESS YOU.

  36. Thank you, Maryl, for this reminder !
Inspite of praying every morning "Divine Love is my shepherd, I shall not want ..." , during the day I realise that again and again I worry - about all kinds of things. But as you say: this doesn't help a bit.
    So, thank you very much!

  37. As the song says, "Don't Worry, Be Happy". And you have provided a REASON for not worrying!!! It's hard to conceive of God worrying and so we, as His children need not worry either. I learned at an early age that there really is no monster hiding under the bed!!!

  38. Great Lift! A great reminder that we should expect good!

  39. Yes, I agree with you, Maryl, and with all the comments. No more worry about our government decisions, about economy, and so on. Instead I will be grateful in advance knowing that God is taking care of each one of His ideas here in South America and all over the world. What a wonderful way to start this day. THANK YOU!

  40. Thank you ! This lifted my burdened thought this morning! Gratitude always seems to be the answer to a shift in thought to rise above the worlds claims of lack. Thank you for your inspired words today! A Grateful heart a garden is!

  41. Thank you!!!

  42. Worry is "ingratitude in advance"!!!! I LOVE THAT! Thank you so much!

And "BE HAPPY, DON'T WORRY" ! Michèle

  44. Thank you, for this inspiring Lift. Let God take care of everything then there is no reason to worry.

  45. What a glorious way to start this beautiful, God-given day! Thanks so much Mayrl. Prayer and gratitude, truly the most benificial way to HEAL fear and doubt!
    Thanks for the reminder!

    Salmos y MBE

  47. I love the blindfold idea in the midst of a bright room. Great metaphor.. Thanks for the thoughts.

  48. fabulous lift! What a great thought to ponder for the day, and beyond......................

  49. This was great! I did in fact wake up worrying this morning, and this was so helpful. I'm going to pray now and be grateful in advance for absolutely everything I need and for everything needed in the world. It is so comforting to be reminded that worry is unnecessary, and gratitude in advance can so easily and joyfully replace it!

  50. Thank you so much for a great lift. I needed a reminder this morning to pray not worry.

  51. A friend once asked me what the definition of impatience was. The answer was "waiting in a hurry."
Thanks, Maryl, for your new good definition of worry: "ingratitude in advance."
They are kind of linked as sometimes we worry because our own prescribed way has not evolved quickly enough.

  52. Thank you dear Maryl for your wonderful words of wisdom. Indeed worry - ingratitude in advance or lack of faith. I am so grateful for your inspirational message and to all the lifters sharing with the world their understanding of God. Love and blessings to you.

  53. I am so grateful for this and all the Daily Lifts!

  54. Thanks for this wonderful Lift ! It reminded me "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, today is big with blessings."as MBE states in Science and Health. Trusting in God pushes all doubt, fear, and worry out of our thought.

  55. Perfect, Maryl! Does "Don't worry" mean to be naive, to look the other way, to pretend all is well, to put on rose-colored glasses? How do we stay alert and watchful - seeing what needs to be corrected - and yet not get into worry? This takes a Huge amount of Hope, Faith, Trust and Spiritual Understanding! Appreciate what #34 Robert says that fits right in with the C.S. Bible Lesson on "Soul" this week: "Worry is an emotion - not a quality originating with God, who is Soul" Also appreciate the quote he used from Science and Health: "Physical sensation, not Soul, produces material ecstasy and emotion." p. 7. I know I have often prided myself on being sensitive and emotional, being able to Feel a full range of Feelings and to express them. Psychology has such a stronghold on our society and culture these days - promoting the Feeling of Feelings and the expression of them as a way to release and heal. I am so grateful that I am learning about Soul, and not physical sensation, in Christian Science! Thank you, Maryl and to all Commenters and to the Daily Lift Team! XOXO!! Oh, and Happy Woman's Day to South Africa!!

  56. Thank you Maryl, excelent message, I will stop worrying about anything, and pray about everything, right away. .

  57. Thanks so much Meryl. . .love the lift!!!

  58. Thanks, Maryl, for “Don’t worry… Paul wrote to the Philippians, ‘Don’t worry about anything, pray about everything’…great advice but sometimes I find… that even when I think I’m praying, I’m really just worrying …isn’t it like ingratitude in advance?…be…grateful in advance…let’s ‘pray about everything.’” Lately, a friend shared this thought-provoking “smile-on-the-lips-with-a-twinkle-in-the-eye” question: “Why pray when you can worry?” I decided to take it seriously and thought about my own answer: Not feeling sure that I could or needed to fully rely on God, I’ve bypassed praying and gone to worrying aka trying to use my or others’ human experience, expertise, and education to solve the problem. When I was younger, I thought I was doing God a favor, because He had so many of us to worry about. :-) Christian Science has definitely expanded my understanding of God. Through prayer, my life has become increasingly less worrisome and more worry-free! But what if it seems too late or impossible for a healing? In John 11, after Lazarus had been believed dead for four days and just before he was raised by Jesus, “…Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always…” Talk about the healing power of “gratitude in advance!” Healing death? Sin, sickness, and even death can be overcome! “…The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18:27). Yes! “Let’s ‘pray about everything!’” Thanks again.

  59. Worry is the opposite of happiness, joy, and peace, which is what God creates. Just as Spirit is the opposite of matter. There can be no power or good in worrying. Yet, you're right Maryl, we all find ourselves worrying and sometimes about important things and other times about the smallest, most ridiculous things. The incomprehensible has no discrimination and lathers worry over everything. Just today I woke up worrying about a hostile personality trait my son exhibited yesterday, an imitation acquired from my ex-husband. Yet this is just mortal mind--which is nothing and not part of God's creation. It is not the essence of either of them, my son or ex-husband, who are both perfect children of God. And here you are supplying the answer just when I needed it. Yours is the angel thought I was waiting to hear today Maryl. I am already praying and replacing ingratitude with gratitude. I can begin with being grateful that this trait is not who they are and gratefully seeing their true nature. Many, many thanks for the love, truth, and care you put into this lift!!

  60. Thank you Maryl for your clear and simple, and powerful thought this morning. The transition from 'worry' to 'prayer' changes everything, including the look on our face! ;- )

  61. Thank you, Maryl. It's a perfect reminder to begin my day.

  62. After submitting my comment, I read through the posted comments (up to # 57 George Birdsong). #5 nancy, it looks as though you and I were "on the same page, today!" :-) #7 Rosemary Deary, Happy Woman's Day to you and all our sisters in South Africa (may I add...and around the world?) And to all commenters, thank you so very much. I could be at my pc all day just appreciating you, individually and specifically. :-) Your insights are so inspiring to me every day - and today!!! How grateful I am to be part of this Daily Lift community. Thanks to Nate and all...and yet again - thanks, Maryl! :-)

  63. I'm so grateful for all the comments! Gratitude is such a healer. Bless you all.

  64. I was taught that, "Everyone likes to be thanked." Surely that goes for God, too. And the blessings for us are manifold, multifarious, endless. Thanks for beginning this day with thanks we can all feel and return, in our prayers for the whole world's gratitude to God.

  65. Thank you Maryl. Just perfect. Love the eye opening statement "worry is ingratitude in advance". With so much to be grateful for, worry is out of the question.
    Thanks again
    V

  66. Thank you sooooooo much!!!! That was just what I needed to hear!!! I started the day worrying about mms suggestion that I can not be healed, move forward, and on and on.... God is in charge here, and in every situation.

    Thank you!!!!!

  67. Thank you, Maryl!
    Just beautiful and perfect.

  68. Thank you so much for that Maryl so that we won't worry, but "trust in God and lean not to thine own understanding" The entire day is filled with Light!

  69. Ingratitude in advance - quite a clarifier and so very helpful in understanding what worry really is. Thank you!

  70. I have heard it said that to worry is to pray for things we don't want. I loved how your statement lifted the thought higher. Many thanks!

  71. Prayer is GRATITUDE IN ADVANCE -- even when we do not yet see a solution to a problem!
    Thank you Maryl! So good.

  72. Thanks Mary for beautiful lift.I really liked your idea -Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Whenever we confront anything in our life, we start worrying thus paying ingratitude in advance.Your lift is a great reminder to give gratitude for the good we have already received. Thanks again.

  73. Thank you for the reminder --going to remind myself to focus on prayer rather than having worry slip in and take me from that focus.

  74. I love that idea "Worry is ingratitude in advance, not to worry and be grateful for all the good God gives is gratitude in advance." I never thought of that. It's even better than the song, "Don't worry, be happy." What Maryl gives is a principal to work with, to deny worry as a power, and affirm the power of being grateful to God. Thou the song is not bad, it doesn't show the principle that Meryl had in her "Daily Lift" for today.

  75. Thank you.

  76. Thanks! Love the metaphor of the blindfold in the room full of light!

  77. Thank you Maryl for that wonderfully "uplifting" lift. " Do'nt worry about anything but pray about everything"
parallels with elsewhere in the Bible where we are admonished to "pray without ceasing", that is to apply the yardstick of prayer to every daily thought and challenge.I have been striving along those lines more consistently recently so your "lift" struck a chord. Our Christian Science Teacher told us of two distinct elements of prayer... the prayer of "Denial" and the Prayer of "AFFIRMATION". In the first instance we DENY the untruths about God and his perfect creation and when we are sufficiently clear on that we AFFIRM the Truth we know of God's allness hence the impossibility of there being anything unlike Him such as worry, fear, lack, sickness, age etc. Many thanks again

  78. Dear Maryl - thank you so much for a perfect Daily lift I didn't realize I needed to hear! I have been worrying about a business transaction without realizing I was. After listening to your lift and reading all the wonderful comments, I felt a real breakthrough in my thought and 2 minutes later my phone rang with the answer I was hoping for on this transaction!

I am so grateful to the Daily lift team for putting this together and our wonderful world of commenters. Nela, thank you for your comments. They were especially helpful!

  79. Beautifully stated, Maryl !! I love to think of the time that Jesus raised Lazarus, and how he expressed gratitude in advance, "Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: . . ." (KJV John 11:41,42) Thank you for reminding us that we should always abide in a state of gratitude, the acknowledgement of divine Love's everpresence.

  80. After spending last night worrying about a physical problem and knowing that I should not be wasting time with such unproductive thinking, your lift was the perfect antidote and truthful wake up call to start my prayer filled day! Thank you.

  81. Wow, always a new insight by hearing each daily lift - and always very reassuring / comforting!

  82. Thank you so much for this gentle reminder that worry isn't prayer or a part of it! One time when I seemed to be overcome with worry over a stiuation in my experience, a dear friend told me that "Worry isn't prayer or a part of it! Don't waste God's time with that, go right to Him, and find the spiritual answers you really need!" What a concept! I realized as I wasted thought in that mode of thinking, I was actually hypnotized by fear and as you so wonderfully pointed out, indulging in "ingratitude" without realizing that that was what error was getting me to agree with! What a "kick in the consciousness"! Of course, I wouldn't intentionally do that, but as you again pointed out, it was a subtle "tag on" without my consent! Once realized, I put a stop to it with love and gratitude for all the goodness God expressed towards His beloved creation, all the time, including me! That's what's really being said, when we're steeped in the slough of worry. That somehow we're left out of the goodness of God, separated from His love, His infinite provision! What a Falsehood! As I expressed more gratitude and love toward all I found my situation completely resolved! I'm so grateful for this gentle reminder today! Much Love and Gratitude to you and all today and always! That beats old worry every time!

  83. Thanks for those amazing thoughts. You hit the nail on the head ...... so to speak.

  84. I love it! I looked up in several translations and couldn't find it. Could you let us know what Bible you were quoting from, please? Thanks so much. The closest was from "The Message".

    Daily Lift Team
The Bible that Maryl referenced today is the New Living Translation - Phil 4:6

  85. What a great Daily Lift. Not to be enfolded in "blind" but standing in the light of freedom from worry.
    Thanks so much Maryl.

  86. What a wonderful antidote to the hypnotic suggestion of worry. This was really helpful to me.
    Thank you Maryl

  87. Thank you, Maryl ,and Daily Lift team and for all the comments today. It was good to be reminded that sometimes we think we are praying when we actually are worrying. The repetitive nature to worry and the uncomfortable anxiety that usually accompanies it, serve as red flags, alerting us we aren't really praying. I find that humbly identifying it as fear and asking God to bring me peace, quietly, but adamantly affirming divine Mind as my source of thought and peace, there is a calming release and often a simple prayer for the situation flows into thought. I have had lots of practice at this lately as I've been experiencing this scenario for a few weeks! I know I am growing in grace and trust I will progress beyond the initial panic/worry mode!!!!! Love to all. Tracy

  88. Wow! What a wonderful lift! And right on time for me this morning, I am so grateful I listented to this first! Thanks so much, it is a keeper!

  89. Thank you Maryl and Lift team and everyone for sharing.

  90. Sincere gratitude Maryl,
This has reminded me to seek peace, for God is handling everything.
    Hugs,
    Carol

  91. Great Lift.... and a good reminder not to "Pray for solutions to our problems...." but instead, "Pray to gratefully affirm and know that our problems have already been solved" by God!

  92. Thank you Maryl. Mentally posting supposed trouble is a no, no.

  93. Thank you so much Maryl for this very instructive and helpful message.

  94. I have been worrying for years about all sorts of personal and global things waffling back and forth trying to trust God. This Lift has exploded in my thinking. Thank you so very, very much!

  95. Talking about overcoming worry, I heard the most beautiful testimony at a Christian Science Wednesday meeting last night. I wish I could remember it verbatim, but the gist of it was that this woman's daughter was in a difficult labour and faced with preparing for a Caesarian section surgical delivery. The women's worry was overwhelming and she called a Christian Science practitioner she knew, who instantly gave her the prayer she needed to alleviate her worry. So compete was the change in thought that the surgery was cancelled and the birth was natural and safe.
Yes it is hard to overcome worry with human reasoning, but when we accept the truth of divine being - pray for a higher outlook - healing takes place.
Thank you Maryl for this idea of replacing worry with prayer. I wish you could have heard this woman's expression of gratitude last night.

  96. Thank you for this lift, as I find myself too, believing I am praying but actually worrying. there were alot of helpful comments made here today. I especially liked the thought that worrying is ingratitude in advance.

  97. Each Lift is so-o-o special. I truly appreciate these helpful thoughts regarding the tendency to worry. This helps me. I love the comment, "Why worry when you can pray (listen UP.)

  98. Thanks so much, dear Maryl. I used to be a "worry wart" until Christian Science found me. I have learned that worry doesn't trust God, and it certainly doesn't demonstrate healing, but a change of thought which steadfastly declares God's Allness and goodness, and gratitude for same, does heal, as your Lift brings out.

The most important thing for me is to watch my thought, to prepare myself every morning by declaring what kind of day I'm going to have with God, and not let the world thought take over my day. During this special 1 on 1 prayer time, I give God thanks for all the infinite good of this DAY, and that there is "no darkness there." (no lack nor limitation of any kind) I work with the definition for DAY from the Glossary in Science and Health.(p. 584) So when error presents itself to me in whatever disguise, I can throw it out because I am prepared.

The olympic athletes have been so wonderful in this way. One said the other day that she had trained to focus her thought on good and to resist every kind of distraction, so when anything untoward presented itself, she was prepared to handle it. How cool is that??!!!
Thank you all for these Lifts because they're proving that we have much good inspiration to share with each other.

  99. I had heard that a great tool of the devil is discouragement. Isn't that the same as worry? When we hand over our egotistical sense and replace gratitude . I read the article, God's Law of Adjustment by Adam Dickey, very often. God's law of divine Love takes possssion of and governs the situation we are concerned or worrying about. We have to say not our will, but thine be done, and start with gratitude and the attitude of unselfed love. Thanks for all the beautiful, helpful comments. With gratitude and love to all. .

  100. Thank you, Maryl. I always need to curb worry, my worst sin, I've learned since finding Christian Science. I try to remember Jesus thanked in advance, and it has blessed me before. I work on other Lifts relating to healing worry, but I especially need this today! Instead of saying more, I need to soak this in and practice working with it on special issues. You've given me an angel message in answer to my prayers. Again, Thanks for this Lift! #27 Diane described what all the Daily Lifts do for us. They leave us with childlike wonder and freedom, which we can confirm by reading the comments. #70 jBeau, Thanks for sharing that worry is like praying for things we don't want. That will help, too. #78 Lori, thanks for the testimony on instant healing you got from this Lift & above comments. #94 Gary, Thanks.

  101. Worry as ingratitufde in advance. is an awaking thought. Graterful in advance.gives a healing attitude. Thank you for this helpful Lift.

  102. So simple, and so helpful!
Thank you so very much for this wonderful lift!

  103. Simple and to the point. Wonderful thought. Thank you, Mary.

  104. Love this! I love thinking and remembering that just because your answer is not evident to you in the beginning, it doesn't mean that it isn't there... "Prayer removes blindfolds, removes worry, so you can see the answer God is giving to you"

This is so helpful... Thank you Maryl!!!

  105. Dear Maryl, I just learned of an incident from a person who said, "I wasn't going to discuss this with you because I didn't want you to worry." Then I got on my computer and connected with this daily lift...Don't worry. I had to smile and am very grateful to you and all the commenters for today's timely lift.

  106. Can I put this lift in my pocket and hand it out to others throughout the day? It's just what we need...to hear, to know and to believe. Thanks Maryl.

  107. Fabulous Lift It raised my level of thinking and praying today.

  108. "Worry is ingratitude in advance!" How profound. I just love this. Thank you so much!

  109. What a wonderful lift. What a great reminder that we should be praying not worring.

  110. Years ago, on the back cover of the Sentinels, was printed "GRATITUDE BRINGS BLESSINGS" I framed that statement (prayer) and have it on the wall in my kitchen and another on night table so it is the last thing I see as I turn out the light. It's a marvelous reminder as I fall asleep replaying my blessings.

So grateful for these daily lifts!!!! What a wonderful way to share God's goodness.

  111. Thank you so much for this wonderful DL n commentaries. My blindfold is at last off... Why worry when we can pray indeed. Been an ingrate for so long, now off you go worry!!! I'm grateful for all the good God bestow on me, every single day.

  112. Thank you thank you thank you thank you.

  113. Thank you, Maryl, for this lovely, simple truth.

  114. Dear Maryl, your profound message solved at once, like light shutts out darkness immediately a problem I had been worrying about ! My gratitude is boundless! Bless you !

  115. I LOVED IT! especially worrying !in advance is ingratitude.

  116. To #70jBEAU : Many thanks ! Oui !

  117. Thank you so much. Right on. Bless you.

  118. Maryl this has been the best lift for me- so VERY practical! Thank you so very much!!!

  119. I love the vision of the Holy City where the Gates of it are thrown wide and always open, for "there is nothing that entereth that defileth or maketh a lie." Only the Christ, Truth, dwells there, as "we live, and move, and have our being," free of the anti-Christ, free from worry, filled with gratitude, and joy, and with those who have "washed their robes white in the blood of the Lamb."

  120. Perfect answer for my 'worries' today (and everyday!) Thanks Maryl.

  121. God has infinite resources with which to bless mankind!

  122. What a fabulous lift - many, many thanks!

  123. Worry does nothing. God does everything.

  124. Thank you, Maryl, and ALL the Lifter family for wonderful declarations of Truth! I think sometimes the "waiting" is what causes the temptation to "worry" - thinking that God is too busy to remember our need or to answer our prayers. He does hear our need "before" we call, so it is really all about just letting go and letting God do his work on His timeline, not ours. I am appreciative of the reminder to express gratitude for ALL that is already received, knowing that God is always one step ahead on our journey through Life, meeting our needs every step of the way!

  125. Thanks Maryl, That's very good to listen this inpiration

  126. Thank you so much for this fabulous lift!

  127. Thank-you so much for this lift and all the sharing comments---- to be alert ,awake an aware.Prayer is about acknowleging the allness of Gods goodness goverment.Graditude to see these Truths and see the claims fall away to their native nothingness. Pray about everything--" standing porter at the door of thought". THanks so much one and all.

  128. Just what I needed. Thank you so much!

  129. Thank you, thank you, for the Lift and for the comments.
This is such a help to me. And, I am sure, to many, many people.

  130. Thank you for such a direct and loving reminder to... NOT worry!
