7/3: Inevitable restoration

7/3: Inevitable restoration

  1. I love the word inevitable! So grateful for this message. Thank you!

  2. Thank you Suzanne for these so obvious but so easily forgotten
wise and true words. We need to read,, to be told them again and again
for we're so often taken by the mental ballet of our still alive ego
Thank you again and have a beautiful day

  3. Thank you so much. It is so refreshing to have and hear this word inevitably (unavoidable) used where it implies a positive, good connotation. So often it is used in a negative context where an outcome is painted or perceived as inevitably bad or poor. As for the word restoration, well returning things but particularly thoughts to their former glory is a really useful reminder to deny, stand up to and block out thoughts of mortal mind and error that can frequently bombard us and go unchecked. To see restoration as the restoring action of God’s Love and something that is therefore inevitable is inspiring, and such a comfort.

Amidst a catastrophe is hard to see God’s hand extended and ready to lift us to a safe place.
Is good to remember that God’s angels appear every instant in the form of our thoughts, bringing “the inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality” S&H 581:4 when we needed most.
The inevitable restoring action of God’s Love will inspire with hope and intelligent resolve, with trust and restoration.
To strengthen us, the Psalm 42 reminds us, “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.” Psalm 42:5
His angels come to our consciousness to prove that God is Supreme!!!

  6. Thank you, Suzanne. When times seemed the toughest for our family we would hold on tight to the knowledge that God was never farther away than our next angel thought.
At one time it seemed my husband and I had lost most of our "nest egg" in 2 questionable investments. We had thought that our future was secure with these ventures. It was just the opposite. The planning we thought was so right seemed to turn wrong. We were both looking for some kind of employment to begin again but nothing came to us.
At this point a wonderful sureness came to me. In the past we had made all the right decisions because of the good thoughts we acted upon. It was not the money in the bank and in investments that was our future security. We still had the good ideas from God which had built up our savings. The wrong thoughts or seeming mistakes had never destroyed the good ideas.
I went to my husband with a plan for him to return to our beginnings by going to the place where we started with humility and by taking the first job he could find. He did just that and soon had a job as a teaching professional at a public golf course. He expressed so much gratitude that I knew we were on the right path.
At this point I took a course in a field I had always wanted to enter. This was my demonstration of trust and gratitude to God. Within 5 years we had all the funds that we had started with returned to us.
The blessings that came are still here today. Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gifts!

  7. The only laws of limitation that we should accept into consciousness is the law of limitation against error of any kind. Whether we are being crushed by past mistakes and a present sense of debt or sorrow as a result, we can know that this is error trying to speak to us. In the Shakespeare play Othello, he says, "To mourn a mischief that is
    past and gone
Is the next way to draw new
    mischief on."
Fear of limitation of any kind, tends to bring on other limitations. If we think that we need money, this may lead to a host of other limiting thoughts, beyond lack of supply, such as lack of love, lack of good health, lack of ability to do what needs to be done, lack of housing. Christ Jesus never even allowed such limiting fearful thoughts to enter his consciousness. When he started for the shore of the lake, he was there immediately, when he needed money, he possessed it. We don't need to experience error in any form of illness or poverty if we bar the door of our thought and prove the law of limitation against errors of selfishness which is ignorance of self. What Jesus did for himself he could do for others, and Christian Science in this age teaches us how Jesus did it.

  8. Thank you Suzanne for such encouraging words, and thank you also to everyone else for their helpful and inspiring ideas, Much love to our brothers and sisters everywhere!

  9. What a wonderful, inspirational and encouraging Lift . Yes indeed ,regardless of circumstances or age ,RESTORATIION IS INeVITABLE . Thank you Suzanne .

  10. Many thanks Suzanne for this inspiring lift. Yes. "The restoring action of God's [Love's] great love, will inspire with hope and [infinite] intelligence [way beyond any human expectations]." "While His truth we are applying,/ And upon His love relying,/ God is every need supplying,/ All, all is well." (Christian Science Hymnal #350).

  11. Thank you.

  12. Last evening I spoke with a coworker who's nephew had been in a 'devastating accident'. Their family gathered around him in the hospital and were told to prepare themselves for the possibility of his passing. He survived the weekend. His family is still waiting his awakening. My coworker has been asking those she knows who pray to pray for this young man. Last night my prayer was, 'Father send me a Daily Lift that I can share with this family.' He has done just that! And such a powerful Lift! God's love abounds for us all every moment. No one is left out, no one is unreachable. His angel messages can get through anything to where they need to be, even 'to the remotest bounds.' as Mrs Eddy tells us. I am so humbled by the answer to this prayer. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This young man's health, intelligence, joy, goodness and life will be restored! It is inevitable!

  13. Thank you for this wonderful Lift.

  14. I love the combination of the two words. There is no other way. because it is like a law. Thank you.

  15. Thank you Suzanne. This is beautifully delivered, completely inspiring and so needed by the world.
And a big ditto on what Jules, #3 said! It is so refreshing to consider the word inevitable in a positive light.

  16. "...lasting good always supercedes human events." Can we ask for more?

Joining you, Suzanne, in this on-going prayer for Colorado!

  17. Our family had a similar experience, Suzanne, when our home burned down the day before we were to return from holidays. We were a long way from our home, but our church in Brisbane knew immediately of our situation, and later, when I could see how quickly the restoration took place, I realized how much we were helped by their prayers. We were so grateful that our church replaced Bibles and a copy of Science and Health for each child, and within three days we had plans for a replacement home; a house to live in during the time the new house was being built; and the insurance was paid immediately. It was a time for renewal and restoration and the beginning of a whole new chapter. God never abandons us. He never has and He never will.
Thank you Nate and the production team; the BoL and lecturers; and the Daily Lifters.

  18. Even before our marriage, my wife-to-be and I recognized the "sweet inevitability" of true friendship. Your reference to other inevitabilities of grace helps to round out my thought about the certainty, even eternity of all that is good and true. Lovely music with this Lift.

  19. Thank you for your angelic message and inspiration today.

  20. Hope and encouragement ,, wonderful , Thank you so much !

  21. Thank you for the assuring thought.

  22. Thank you Suzanne,

Very peaceful, very assuring and as Jennifer #1 I love the term inevitable. Last week's Lesson really opened my eyes to the passage from Kings 19:12 about Elijah and the Still Small Voice.

Last week for the first time I realized I have always misread that passage. I would hold onto to the term "after" so after the wind, earthquake and fire, there was a still small voice. Last Wednesday for the first time, I SAW these words at the very start of the passage "..the Lord passed by". I then realized, God was (and is) there first. The understanding of goodness, safety, peace, structure, permanence, protection, Creation, strength etc...were all there before the earthquake, wind and fire.

Hymn 52 says "Let sense be dumb, let flesh retire; Speak through (as in above and beyond) the earthquake, wind and fire, O still small voice of calm."

Before any sense of dislocation, calamity, destruction God is there to help restore our thought to what true substance is. The fire in Colorado, last year's Tsunami in Japan, 2010's hurricane Tomas concerned me as many asked, how could God be a loving God and allow such destruction?

Man's identity is not destroyed by fire nor hurricane and never will be. There will be changes in the physical and as Christ Jesus proved through the Resurrection, man's true identity cannot be erased by a view of physical calamity.

As in Kings, the Calm was, is and always will be there; ALWAYS. We just have to be attuned to it.

  23. Thanks, Suzanne, for, “Inevitable restoration…restoring action of God’s love…devastating circumstances were turned into proofs that good was supreme…” Your Lift has reminded me of a favorite verse in a favorite hymn - Hymn 412 of the Christian Science Hymnal, “He comes to give thee joy for desolation, Beauty for ashes of the vanished years; For every tear to bring full compensation, To give thee confidence for all thy fears.” Inevitable restoration. Wow!!! Thanks again, Suzanne.

  24. Thank you, Suzanne, for the inspiring reminder that as the human restoration continues here in Colorado, we are assured of God's lasting good for all. It is inevitable.

  25. When I clicked your lift I heard your words address the very questions I had just been asking of God. Thank you.

  26. Gracias Suzanne por el tema elegido y gracias a Elena por tu inspirado comentario sobre el mismo ,para mí fue muy especial en éste día.

  27. The lesson of the still small voice came to mind, I used to think of trouble as acts of God, like so many do.Using the Science to wage war against my false beliefs has been paying off thanks to lessons and comments like this.

  29. Thanks so much for this inspiring message on restoration. And, I just love the idea that it is inevitable. The very graphic photos of the devastation from the wild fires has been so alarming. I watched my father's furniture factory be completely destroyed by fire when I was a teenager. I remember standing there in the snow watching in horror - it was December 7th. I don't recall the year. The fireproof file cabinets that were stored in our basement still smelled like smoke a year later - a terrible odor. After that I was so impressed by the Bible account of the three men thrown into the firey furnace who came out without even the smell of smoke on them - so complete was God's protection. I appreciate all of the comments so far, especially Sally #6. We can know that "God is every need supplying, All, all is well." (Hymn 350) This entire hymn is so uplifting. I will hold to this thought that restoration is inevitable as the news reporting continues of these wild fires. Thanks again!

  30. Thanks to Robert of comment 7 for the pithy quote from Shakespeare's Othello:

"To mourn a mischief that is
    past and gone
Is the next way to draw new
    mischief on."

Recently a family member tricked me out of a very large sum of money, leaving me in a vulnerable, and irretrievable financial position. I found myself not only forgiving this individual but carrying on as though the betrayal had never taken place, since, according to Mary Baker Eddy, accidents are unknown to God's kingdom.

And within a short period of time I have noticed new, material circumstances and promising opportunities have arisen. Most importantly, a new spiritual perspective have come to the fore for me, liberating me from the limiting notion that matter alone can decide one's fate.

By turning to God good rather than revenge, outrage or lingering resentment, a challenging situation is resolving itself perfectly. My assignment in all of this, then, is simply to love...and be loved in return.

  31. All is restored, because nothing was ever lost in the first place. This realization fulfills the Bible prophecy from the book of Joel, "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten ... And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you".

Thank you, Suzanne, Nate and the BoL for our wonderful morning messages.

  32. Just what I needed. Thanks!

  33. So lovely, what an inspirational thought and the presentation calming. Thank you so much.

  34. I will keep this in the forefront of my thoughts today. Restoration is inevitable! Thank you everyone for the beautiful comments and Suzanne for this healing lift!

  35. Dear Suzanne~~ What stood out for me - was your "reinforcing" of confidence, that Divine Goodness

is ALWAYS surrounding us. Much gratitude for your Lift today/LOL/jim.

  36. Really enjoyed listening to Suzanne.
Clear message to everyone, never give up, God is on the way!

  37. What an essential piece of good news! Thank you, Suzanne.

Jesus example of managing disaster has been a help to me. He was without food for what? 40 days? That’s a long stretch. But he identified the thoughts coming to him about physical hunger as a devilish attempt to evoke him to willfully manipulate a physical solution… to turn stones into bread. Could he have done this? I wonder. However, he already understood that restoration of good would rightfully come in trusting God, God’s word, and not by manipulating stones.

It is at the heart of Christian Science – the consciousness that God supplies the bread for today and the inevitable good which we can accept and expect.

    12 JD - today's bread, eh? Absolutely.

  38. Beautiful message Suzanne. We feel the presence of God and He is present for everyone. That is so right. Thank you so much.

  39. Very helpful... wonderful lift, thank you!

  40. Absolutely wonderful Lift. Thanks so much to all of you for this little bit of needed ascension this morning!

  41. A friend who also belongs to Naples church has a grandson living in Colorado Springs. When the fire was only 10 % contained she invited the members of our church to pray for the safety of all the residents and firefighters in Colorado Springs. We have rejoiced with you to see the containment of the fire increase, but we were expecially inspired with confidence in God's goodness and omnipresent power as we prayed, We know full restoration will follow.
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house (the consciousness) of (Love)forever.
Thank you for this wonderful Lift.

  42. Thank you, Suzanne.
So inspiring and helpful, with your always practical examples.

  43. Yepp, ...... Inevitable restoration=re-establishing the original, always present, conditions - inside and outside!

  44. This has met so many calls for help today! And I am very grateful to be given such a perfect and "uplifting" way to pray for those working through the claims of disasters - fires, storms, economic ruin. Thank you Suzanne for this shinning truth, and to all the many powerfully inspiring comments this lift stirred forth.
I too will hold on to this healing thought today, "Restoration is inevitable." It also reminds me of the Star Trek quote from the Borg that makes me giggle, "Resistance (to restoration) is futile!" In this case, it's true!

  45. Although I do not live in Co Springs presently, I have businesses there. One was in the path

of the fire. I knew my former Christian Science church members in that city were praying on a 24 hour time table for their community as I was and the friends I asked here to pray specifically for the situation. Last week's lesson was tailored made for all of the weather related situations here in The United States. Thank everyone every where for rhein live and prayers.

  46. Wonderful . . .. Thank you . ...

  47. Thank you, Suzanne, for a Rock to stand on this morning! What I love about Christian Science is that it is based on God's Law of Goodness, not just positive thinking. It is a Science, or Law, of the inevitable goodness of God! Whenever I see or hear an ambulence or fire truck, I have gotten in the good habit of silently affirming, "God and Her Goodness got there first!" I have been praying and knowing in the past few days that whatever parts of our country or our world that seem to be experiencing devastation or disaster are always under God's Law of Goodness - or as this Lift brings out - Inevitable Restoration! Let's all keep up the good thoughts and prayers! Much Love!

  48. I have been struggling with the loss of my ministry and career. All around me I see people who are flourishing and receiving so much good for their hard work. Why not me, Lord? Thank you for reminder that restoration is inevitable. I can expect good, beauty, employment, and inclusion as my true nature and experience because God is always with me - and you too!

  49. Thanks for that uplifting sharing.

  50. Wow! What a powerful divine truth--Inevitable Restoration. Last night at Bible Study we were studying I Cor. 13--Paul's treatise on Love. The Message translation says "Love never looks back". God/Good and His/Her universe is ever-expanding. Can you imagine God ever looking back in regret? No way! The Interpreter's Bible commentary says "Love endures even when there's no hope in sight". I've read I Cor. 13: 13 countless times, but last night's reading from The New Living Translation brought new inspiration. "There are three things that will endure--faith, hope and love--and the greatest of these is love." So love is #1, but look at the next runner's ups--faith and hope. Think of all the wonderful spiritual qualities there are--and how important faith and hope are to us. These 3 qualities are innate, natural, within us all, restoring our childlike joy. What a blessing to rejoice in!!!

  51. I agree with Linda right above me, this inspiring lift has helped so many today! It came at the perfect time for me. Just got home from dealing with a difficult situation, and I do not need to elaborate of the material picture, but long story short, I was afraid for providing for myself. Nancy (37) brought to mind the story of Jesus going 40 days without food, that is plenty proof that you can strife amidst supposed lack for a long period of time, and it doesn't have to be just food, but money, for example. Reading back my comment, I realized I was asking the wrong question, this is not something I need to figure out, it is up to God to provide for me. Thank you to both Suzanne and all those who shared feedback as well, I love to see how people are inspired.

  52. Thank you this lovely reminder of God's ever present goodness. And thanks to all who comment on the Daily Lifts. Sometimes those are as inspiring and helpful as the Lifts themselves.

  53. I love the daily lifting of thought and our family blessed through out our journey with the understanding that whatever the mortal claim claims is not a fact. God is. All in all therefore no mortal belief has validity. It isn't real. Thank you. Suzanne for the loving ideas you share this day and always.
    .

  54. Thank you.

  55. I think the creative power of God can provide the inspiration we need to not let trying circumstances get the best of us.

  56. What a timely message Suzanne and so needed to guide our thoughts and prayers for those in Colorado and other seeming disasters! I too was praying with the story about Elijah from the lesson last week. God was not in the earthquake, wind or FIRE! To me this meant that there was no power in it. All the power was in the still, small, voice which we recognize as God's. God is always present and the seeming disaster is powerless to destroy one iota of good. This translates to inevitable restoration and an outpouring of blessings for all involved!

  57. Angels restore!!! what a wonderful concept!!!

  58. Thank you Susan. I loved this for its sense of God's movement in us with Christ's gentle light of understanding ... spiritual sense ... from a reliigon of the head, to its natural and practical place in our lives as religion of the heart. Mrs. Eddy predicted this promise would be fulfilled in our lives. I am very grateful for our periodicals, weekly lesson-sermons, these wonderful Lifts, the Sentinel broadcasts, and all ways and means the electronic media is being used to advance our understanding and appreciation of Christian Science as just such a religion that shows us how to be healed and how to heal through God's great love for each one of us, no exceptions to His/Her unversal law of infinite Love.

  59. What a beautiful lift, thank you.

  60. Thank you for this most tuely beautiful msg. Thank you. It is exactly what I needed to hear. And thank you too to all co -listeners for their amazing comments. eg Robert # 7 and many more. Thank you for sharing.

  61. Thank you, Suzanne, for today's wonderful Lift. Knowing that restoration is inevitable is such a powerful thought to work with. As always I appreciate everyone's loving comments and the work of Nate and his team for these Daily Lifts which are always so inspirational.

  62. Thank you for this message of great confidence and restoration. Very timely for the situation with the fires going on in your own state. Thank you. Thanks DL team and everyone who responds.

  63. So grateful to you Suzanne for this peace-filled "Lift". Last night in darkness men high above in the trees restored the electricity to our neighborhood, prayers of inevitable restoration were answered, as well as containing the fires in Texas and Colorado. Sincere hugs of peace.

  64. Thank you, Suzanne, for this Rock to lean on this morning! I love that Christian Science presents the Law of God, Good, and not just human positive thinking. The Law of Good IS inevitable restoration! Let's all continue our good thoughts and prayers for the world and for our country! Much Love!

  65. Restoration is inevitable. Very strong...thank you !

  66. Many thanks to you Suzanne for your inspiring lift.

  67. Thanks, Suzanne! Wonderful reassurance of restoration - inevitable!

  68. Lee Ann from Berkeley - 7/3/12-Hi! Thank you so very much, Suzanne. I was led to check this morning as I pondered the very idea of : breath, inspiration, just breathe in each moment of life only possible because of God's making it so. For us to trust we'll be led down intelligent paths to walk while we breathe this gift moment- to- moment only makes LOVING sense. I am so grateful for your right-on message: angel aware...thanks.

  69. Suzanne, Thank you for this!

I liked your story on how you overcame adversity or hardship. I was left inspired.

I also liked the "angel messages".

Truth, Wisdom, Love, and Sincerity, to ALL mankind.

    Rob Scott
    Chicago, IL

  70. What a powerful, deeply Biblical, scientifically sound, tender message. I'm aware that the fire situation in Colorado Springs likely impelled the message, but I appreciate that you didn't "limit" the message to just that. Of course we are all lovingly praying for our neighbors in Colorado, but as several other commenters have mentioned situations regarding finances or physical health, we know that restoration is needed in so many areas. I myself am dealing currently with the belief of devastation in human relationships. Your message about the inevitability of restoration is deeply deeply healing, and applicable to any situation that screams destruction.

I am grateful beyond words for the healing, uplifting, inspirating nature of not only these LIfts, but also the music and the wealth of comments that always follow.

  71. As a many decades Colo resident in mts. Restoration of Beauty, the Truth of Love & gentleness with God's gifts we share come to thoughts of Daily Loving & Daily Lifting our actions in these beautiful gardens we have been placed in...Lee Ann

  72. Thank you, Suzanne! God's good is present for everyone always - because He is ever-present good.
These wildfires present a 'maze of destruction' to thought - and you provided the map of how to be lifted out to see the unconfined or true view of what is spiritually & eternally true. A great example of changing things (charred residences) into thoughts (hope & trust in God's angel messages leading to the restoration that is inevitable).
I'm grateful to all in this Daily Lift community including TMC staff - what a healing activity!

  73. Thanks sooo much for this powerful lift - I;m having a
health claim for some time and Happily know now
    that "restoration is inevitable NOW!
ALL the lifts were most helpful.

I;m having a claim of health that is going on & on
and grateful to know that restoration is inevitable NOW
Thanks sooo much Suzanne & for

I;m having a health claim that has been unyielding
for some time...todays lift is what I needed.
Thanks Suzanne & all the helpful lifts!

  74. When home is threatened, it is time to realize that home is not a "place", but a "power" (MBE). As we do what is good and right, listening for guidance, we necessarily grow spiritually. I recently proved this as more than a platitude, but a strong truth. A flood in my home this past year destroyed much of the interior.
"Restoration" was "inevitable", and praying for guidance led me through the maze of the wrecking crew, the brief relocation, parting with items, navigating the insurance company's unwillingness to pay for costly repairs above basic coverage, etc.. Most was restored with minimum out of pocket expense, and looks good.
While this does not compare with the hardships you describe, Suzanne, it has made me more alert, less inclined to react, and to specifically pray more for others in need under devastating circumstances. As we pray for those caught up in the fires and floods, we can know that all possess dominion from God, and are in Love, God's safe care.

  75. Dear Suzanne, thank you , thank you, for this so powefull Up Lift of today." Restoration is inevitable", yes, God did everything already. My gratitude to all the lifters an specially to Jules # 3 and Robert #7
Thank you for this healing work. Much love to all.

  76. Thanks Suzanne for your sharing today....and, thanks to all contributors, as well.
Can't help but sharing something: "God is, this isn't, and that's that!" That says it (to me) in a nutshell! Inevitable Restoration....what a wonderful two words!
    Loved the music today, too!
Thanks to EVERYONE who makes these Daily Lift's possible....

  77. This Lift is Effective Prayer for individuals, relationships, economies, churches...

A few years back, church attendance and participation was restored through love - it has been worthwhile to participate!

  78. Beautiful Daily Lift Suzanne. Inevitable Restoration going on in my life right now and I praise God. Much love and gratitude to you, Suzanne, lifters, and Daily Lift team.

  79. If there ever was a period in my mortal existence that I required "spiritual restoration" it's from April'2012 to the present.....It requires several pages to completely explain. However,my relentless prayers will continue.Almighty God...please rescue me........gracias,merci,thanks,Suzanne...

  80. How perfect is this?! This morning I was led to open an envelope from the IRS that I thought was routine forms, waiting in a pile for attention, but which was instead an erroneous notice that I still owed $28,000 in taxes plus $5,000 in penalties. According to the deadline, I must submit a written form to address the problem two days from today (one of them Independence Day), A call quickly answered by our company accountant revealed the idea that the problem was likely due to a misplaced decimal, which turned out to be the case. I was on hold waiting to talk with the IRS, listening to today's Daily LIft on Restoration (!) when the agent answered and assured me the correction should be no problem and that my phone call was all the action I needed to take. Thank you, God!

  81. Very helpful thank you so much.

  82. Oh, thank you so much! Very helpful!!

  83. What terrific thinkers, responders, and lovers of mankind! There are so many wonderful ideas in these responses, it will take me more reads to cherish them all. This Lift definitely was meant to respond to a CO need and to the needs of everyone to feel God's great care. It's inevitable that each one can find restoration for what is troubling. Happy Fourth of July!

  84. I am trying so much to apply your message to grief at untimely loss of loved one.

  85. I received news a week ago regarding my beloved teen. The news had devastating, life-altering potential in several respects and added to my plate seemingly overflowing with challenges for this coming year. This Lift is very powerful in its reaffirmation of the spiritual facts of existence. The sharing of the firsthand experience at the end, very compelling. God is not in the jarring testimony of material sense testimony. Divine Love cannot be deprived of its manifestation or object, no matter the material picture. Entirely separate from the belief and dream of material existence is the Life divine. This beloved Life is what I am consciously turning towards moment by moment. In fact, divine Love has chosen me! to be part of its Being, and my child... Love's child... as well. I'm so grateful for your sharing today. Lovingly....

  86. What a wonderful reminder of the power of God's love wherever we are at each moment in everyone's lives!

  87. Great inspiration! What trials you overcame!

  88. This Lift so perfectly elaborates my prayers for those affected by the Colorado fires AND those who experienced the less-publicized Wyoming fires that made the sun disappear AND our dear sisters and brothers dealing with the aftermath of flood... Wait! To all who commented and shared your own healings and trials, thank you for expanding on the possibilities and inevitabilities. Everyone who has read and shared this Lift has enlarged the universal application of restoration. Suzanne, special thanks for alerting us to the type of distracted, unproductive thoughts, along with the reminder of God's goodness which we can and must see.

  89. Thank you, Suzanne, for addressing this problem. I've worked years to restore living conditions, but solutions develop fresh severe problems, too. I've gained courage I never knew, continue to grow spiritually, and receive blessings, so I do have much to be grateful for. I'll work with this Lift, to add to what I already know. I don't question, "Why me?" and do expect restoration, so I know it will come. I've been able to help others find spiritual solutions for their situations, so I know lack doesn't stop me from helping with healing, even involving their living conditions. Once, one of our children's middle school teachers unexpectedly visited our obviously less than ideal mobile home, and yet, as we got to know each other, she told me she considered my family one of the richest in the county, and she wasn't talking about money or "things". I would not trade what I have, for things I think I need. Instead of what I've not yet demonstrated, I think all Christian Science has done for me is overwhelmingly wonderful. Daily Lifts, too, bring many beautiful moments, give me strength and help me grow. I love the opportunity of having the Lifts, love the lecturers' uplifting messages, and love all the added inspiration I get from reading the comments. I would not trade any of these in order to have a solution to my problems tomorrow, but I'll use them to grow to where I need to be. My prayers for Co. expect great testimonies! Ps. 93:4 healed a forest fire - rain not needed.

  90. 'Restoration IS inevitable' - now that's an ABSOLUTE Truth! Thank you. Excellent.

  91. Suzanne, your words are always validated by your experiences and demonstration. This gives confidence and encouragement like nothing else can! Thank you.

  92. "Good is supreme" is such a powerful and healing thought. Especially helpful is the idea that "lasting good always supercedes human events." It gives hope and a platform for soaring above the human difficulty Thank you for this inspiring Lift.

  93. I feel so blessed by Perfect Love with this lift, Suzanne, and with all the messages that follow - so ready to bless others. Sally from San Diego and Yorkshire, GB (6) - your message was like a Bible story. And J.S. in Kentucky (89) helping others right through her own restoration even as new problems appear. Our stories are like stories that follow an unwritten "to be continued" at the end of the Bible -- individual and collective stories of restoration and healing of many things -- all things through faith, hope and most of all, love. I'm so thankful for the freedom we have to share these blessings in this way.

  94. Thank You

  95. 84 Esther, My heart went out to you, for my husband passed almost 6 years ago, but as if yesterday. I deeply believe loved ones are not gone, and it doesn't help every minute, but I truly believe the dead can be raised as Lazarus, Dorcas, and Eutychus were. I will work to know this so purely, that it will help others, if not bring mine back. Time would seem to be a second solid door, even if I could reach making a demonstration soon after one passes. I also work to know time is nothing. I am convinced of this: there is no separation, for our loved ones are with our Father, and He is with us, so really we are still together. While not restoring physical evidence of passed loved ones, I can restore my confidence in the truths of eternal life, unchanging good, and that I will see proof of this at some point. It is not about restoring matter to recognizable form, but awakening, which Mrs. Eddy says concerning being able to see Edward Kimball, after his passing (MY 297:11-25)

  96. Thank You Suzanne. You always fill my heart with the Truth

  97. this is what I love about you Suzanne, you aren't ashamed over anything which has happened to you.
You are so real. So is God.

  98. Thank you for this valuable lift. The devastating tragedy our family had to face guided me right into the public practice. This experience happened right after I had submitted my applicationf for Journal-listing. It's not the same as some of these so-called Mother Nature things, but I certainly felt like I was in the fire. Christian Science shaped and restored my life and continues to do so. The Lord will restore the years the locusts have taken away. Inevitable restoration is the law. It's the only route to go. Science and Health and the Bible are the guidebooks.

  99. NO ONE should be ashamed for the material circumstances they find themselves in, it represents a breaking up of material beliefs, and an opportunity to "find" our Father-Mother, God, and "like tired children, run to the arms of the Father." Wherever we find ourselves, it's okay, we can always turn to him, and find restoration, just like the woman who's son was healed by Elisha, and the she was told by the visionary prophet to seek quarters elsewhere for awhile because there would be a terrible water shortage in the land. She returned 7 yrs later to have all her possessions restored by the King of Israel. Every seemingly shameful circumstance overcome makes us more real, more able to help others, makes us more meek and humble.
We are all moving forward as best we can, and some of us seem to move in a direction that is more pedantic, or not as truly substantive, God shall reveal this unto you, and the Christ-consciousness shall turn us all to our paths up "the holy mountain."
and Daisley, #79, only and ever love to you, the Christ has crowned your struggles with precious and specific love for you, and like Jesus reached out to save Peter from sinking, and like he told the man with the withered hand to "stretch forth his arm, and it was made whole as the other," so are you caught, and restored to your feet, "shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace." Your nobility is present and there is "nothing that defileth or maketh a lie" in all you do!
    cont'd in next panel..

  100. cont'd from previous panel..to Daisley...

Just the smallest obedience can get you started on your way to the "mount of Vision." "what did hinder you that you should not obey the Truth?"
You can only grow spiritually and drop false beliefs..."Rejoice! for today is the day the Lord hath made...walk ye in it." God makes these days tailor-made for you..each of us..

  101. Thanks Suzanne - we must be all the more attentive to Angel thoughts which may be too easily overlooked in the clamour of busy working lives.

  102. I have been making up for lost time, checking out the Daily Lift, from the oldest to the newest just now, and I have just read most of the comments. I do not normally read a lot of the comments, it depends how deep down I seem to be.

Nonetheless, Suzanne, you lit a real fire, here ! Thank you !

  103. Thank you for these inspiring thoughts that I need so much right now at this very moment

  104. A timely message for those hungering hearts in Denver, and surrounds, after the cinema shootings. The ever-present Angels cannot be shut out by numbness or anger. Thinking of all concerned.
