When I feel overwhelmed by any situation, being work, relationships or health troubles, I get Elena out of the way and take “a God moment” (just like the closet Jesus talked about) http://bible.cc/matthew/6-6.htm
It’s a moment when I stop my high velocity thinking and search for answers thinking only on my relationship with my Father-Mother God.
MBE says, “Become conscious for a single moment that Life and intelligence are purely spiritual, — neither in nor of matter, — and the body will then utter no complaints” S&H 14:12
It takes but a few minutes and it always works.

Thank you so much, Evan. I have needed to have more than a moment of spiritual uplift this morning, and this lift has helped so much to strengthen my prayers and give me confidence that all IS well, for God is always present to help us out of the mortal illusion that life is in matter, and that matter can have power over us. It just CANNOT when we keep our thoughts perpetually uplifted to the spiritual reality and let God take care of us.

God moments come to us don't they? Sometimes like a wonderful surprise gift, or a child's smile, or a simple clear thought that allows us to pause and claim our completeness with God. Thank you Evan for this beautiful reminder that we can, at any moment, claim our moment is with God. And God's moment is always with us. Lovely.

Thanks for this excellent idea to stop and find peace. I really enjoyed your recent lecture in Melbourne and have given it a lot of thought since. I will always remember the story of the apples. When you thought you had lost your peace because of the ruined crop of apples, you held fast to God's goodness and abundance was demonstrated in such a remarkable way.

Thank you Evan for your perfectly inspiring and timely Lift. I woke up this morning with the headache you mentioned, stressed and excited over my upcoming plans to board a flight within the next 15 hours. I'm grateful for the reminder that I too can stop and have my own "God moment."

Fleeing for his very life, Elijah was awakened or touched momentarily by an angel twice, and the strength of this small demonstration alone sustained and saved him forty days, bringing him unto Horeb, the mount of God.
(IKings:19).
Jesus was touched, meaning that he felt the moment or influence of the sick woman's thought. This was proved to be her faith, which Jesus saw to be perfect, and her confession overpowered superstitious thinking, making her her whole and bringing out of her moment of faith, perfect peace. (Luke:8).(Unity of Good:p.57)
Thank you for this transcending moment.

Thank you Evan, for an unexpected thought to work with near the end. I wasn't grabbing anything "special" until you said, "Remember you live at one with God". I'm not sure this is how you intended that, but somehow, I heard that as a street address, "1 With-God". I'll focus on living at that address to feel God moments. I listened again, and suddenly found the Lift was packed with uplifting thoughts and tools to work with! I lost count how many times I heard this Lift, because I pushed the ball back often to catch a phrase, such as, you said you stop and pray until you're aware you are "living in the presence of God, where health and harmony are the rule.' If I lived in a rented apartment where rules such as no smoking, no pets, etc. were posted, I don't smoke, but I'd not have company who did not obey the rules either. So it's going to be easier to remember the rules are health & harmony at this address where I live. I finally recognized you included the "city" this street is in, saying it's "in Spirit"! We've had past Lifts about where we live, but clearly I needed this wake-up call today. The rest about the location of our address states "neither in nor of matter", so I know none of the effects of contamination, disaster, environmental issues (including weather) and the dust humans are supposed to be made of (along with all problems that connects to) are not part of any God moment. I am lifted! #9 A Seeker, Thanks! I couldn't follow link on Feb. 20 then.

Lovely, esp after reading two stories about the Christian Science man whose life was saved on the Titanic because he repeatedly reread the 91st psalm and then paused, waiting for God to show him the way to safety. In that God moment, he stayed where he was and did not go over to the other side of the boat with the other men. He was called from the lifeboat below; he jump in and was saved. Remarkable testimony.
A simpler one happened to me recently. My husband and I had reservations for dinner but my husband decided to eat at home. I took a moment with God and to see whether I should go by myself. The answer was Yes. When I entered the dining room to go to my table near the piano, a child about 18mths old turned around in her high chair and, with arms wide and a big smile, motioned for me to come hug her. She was so happy to see me!!!!! I said, "She knows me. She knows that what I want more than anything in the world is to be called 'Grammy'." Her mother had not seen her welcome anyone but family like that. I told her that her daughter was so beautifully intuitive, she must be taught to pray because her prayers would go straight to God. We communicated joyfully throughout the meal. I hope to watch this child, a grandchild of a neighbor in my community, grow up. We are instant friends in Christ.

Amazing and thanks Evan,
This morning I awoke with some frustration over something someone did over this past week. I left home to go for my morning ride as there are so many healing messages on the ride that once I am attuned to them, I always come back spiritually awake to Love.
I was barely two minutes from home when I realized I had left my helmet at home but I continued. I then stopped as the thought came to me that the helmet, while in the physical, was more metaphorical for what I was NOT bringing along with me, the thought of constant, ever-present protection. I felt a need to dig deeper into that thought, so I turned back to go home and spend time in quiet prayer and listening to the Daily Lift was part of the quiet prayer-full thinking.
Your words were perfect, healing and as the intro went..today was an "uplift". Thanks!
Many Blessings to all.

Reading the Daily Lift Comments for the day reminds me of particating in my writers group. We begin our session with the same prompt and from there each of us writes from our own perspective and experience . It's always amazing to me the different directions that ten people can create in their writing based on their own memories and imagionation. One prompt , ten different stories. Here in our Daily Lifts, although our stories may be different we have one God and a place to share our God Moments. Very grateful

Thanks, Evan! Thanks, also, to #21 Saved! I love how we are learning to look for and see moments of Grace - of God's Love felt and expressed! From a C.S. Hymn: "....Take my moments and my days, Let them flow with ceaseless praise (or prays!)" We need to jump out of the box of mortal mind thinking and find we always are and always have been living in the spiritual realm of Divine Mind's knowing of us. Perhaps one God Moment is a taste of eternity or Eternal Life! Big Hugs and Love to All! XOXO

When a horse spooks, it is best to put a screeching halt on it. If he bolts, extra panic sets in and a certain amount of crashing can ensue. There are several ways to help him. One can gather him up and show him the object of concern is powerless, or one can redirect him to productive work to take his focus to more important things. One thing is for sure, handling it sooner is better than later!
When the material work we are doing becomes too much of a focus or erupts, the law of God taps us on the shoulder and says “wait, no fear” and “listen up”. The important thing is that we don’t bolt away and disregard our God moment. The trainer knows best!
Thank you Evan!

God's precious moments find us wherever we are, Evan. For instance, some of us from church went to a friend's place on Sunday after lunch. Some went in one car, but I was going in mine, and Carlos was going in his. I waited with my motor running while he tried three times, then he climbed in my car and off we went. I really needed his navigation to find my way at the other end when we were near her home. When we were going home later, I went off because I travelled on the Motorway, but the other took Carlos and returned by a different way. As I was driving I thought, "I wonder if God did that so that Carlos would come with me to show me the way?" Carlos said he had thought he might phone the RACQ, and was about to go down to check the intersection, but thought he would try the engine once. He did and there was nothing wrong! It went immediately! God brought peace to our drive, and peace to Carlos' car. What an all-loving Father-Mother, Good.
Thank you Evan, and Nathan and the production team; the BoL and lecturers; and the Daily Lifters, always cherished. God is always caring for you in every perfect detail.

Add my Thanks to the others! I am so grateful for this message this morning as the weight of fear has been trying to overcome me. Just stopping to take my Moment with God, although it is turning into hours, is helping me. Fear always tries to appear as a new player but I recognize it as the same old actor I have dealt with so many times before. Thanks for your reminder and encouragement that turning to a God Moment will help us see more clearly.

I try to translate. Thank you, Evan, and to dears JS in Kentucky #20, Saved #21, Troy #22 : Your comments are WONDERFUL ! Also to JS in K : many thanks for the translations the other day ! I wish your problems are resolved ! It's very important to reserve moments with God. But, I think that, sometimes, it is God who gives us these moments !! Many years ago, when I was very sick, and 'illused' (? 'maltraitée' in French) by my own evil-minded Family, my extraordinary cat, always instantly felt my misery and lack of Love, went to me and gave me much tenderness, KNOWING that is was very necessary. I always thought that it was God who manifested His Love for me by the way (intermediate) of my loving cat. I am sure that this wonderful animal had been sent to me by GOD in order to save me and it is what happened ! It was great moments of tenderness with and in God. Many thanks to my God !! Much LOVE to my 'new' loving Family ! Michèle from France

Thanks, Evan. Your potent Lift reminded me of my travel experience this weekend. I was headed for Annapolis and got lost, ending up in Washington, DC, in a not so prosperous area......... and almost out of gas. My distress melted away when I remembered to "be still and know that I am God". I looked around at all the people waiting to get gas at the station I found, and saw all of them, each one, God's child. I was surrounded by helpful people when the pump didn't work right and prayerful thoughts from one woman. Finding my way back was easy and the weekend visit one long God moment.
Thanks to all who work on the Daily Lift. It's such a blessing to me!

Agradezco mucho Evan tu hermoso Lift!!!
Cristy

Thanks Evan... “Become conscious for a single second, Love and understanding are purely spiritual, — neither in nor of matter, — and the body will then utter no complaints” S&H 14:12 ( body could be substituted for home, church, marriage, school, personality ).
Sometimes, it appears, someone's personality is too difficult, hard work, very manipulative, constantly dominating...but Mrs. Eddy shows there is no effect..no whining, complainting, hating, crying.
I like this because Mrs. Eddy says, "it only takes a second ( a moment)" and I know I have a second. But Jesus, he is the Master, and he says, "couldn't you watch with me one hour?" ...that's 360 seconds....but 4/3/12 Lois Carlson CSB 's audio on the Christ on JSH online..said it takes discipline to do what Jesus said. I'll get there...one second at a time.
Thank you to all the Daily Lifters and the Mother Church.....

It just CANNOT when we keep our thoughts perpetually uplifted to the spiritual reality and let God take care of us.

- 4/18/2012God moments come to us don't they? Sometimes like a wonderful surprise gift, or a child's smile, or a simple clear thought that allows us to pause and claim our completeness with God. Thank you Evan for this beautiful reminder that we can, at any moment, claim our moment is with God. And God's moment is always with us. Lovely.

- 4/18/2012Thanks for this excellent idea to stop and find peace. I really enjoyed your recent lecture in Melbourne and have given it a lot of thought since. I will always remember the story of the apples. When you thought you had lost your peace because of the ruined crop of apples, you held fast to God's goodness and abundance was demonstrated in such a remarkable way.

- 4/18/2012Thank you Evan for your perfectly inspiring and timely Lift. I woke up this morning with the headache you mentioned, stressed and excited over my upcoming plans to board a flight within the next 15 hours. I'm very grateful for your wonderful reminder that God is always present, everywhere, and is my constant source of peace and security. I'm grateful for the reminder that I too can stop and have my own "God moment."

- 4/18/2012Fleeing for his very life, Elijah was awakened or touched momentarily by an angel twice, and the strength of this small demonstration alone sustained and saved him forty days, bringing him unto Horeb, the mount of God.

- 4/18/2012Thank you Evan, for an unexpected thought to work with near the end. 20 then.

- 4/18/2012Lovely, esp after reading two stories about the Christian Science man whose life was saved on the Titanic because he repeatedly reread the 91st psalm and then paused, waiting for God to show him the way to safety.

- 4/18/2012Amazing and thanks Evan,
This morning I awoke with some frustration over something someone did over this past week.

- 4/18/2012Thanks, Evan! XOXO

- 4/18/2012When a horse spooks, it is best to put a screeching halt on it.

- 4/18/2012God's precious moments find us wherever we are, Evan.

- 4/18/2012Add my Thanks to the others! I am so grateful for this message this morning as the weight of fear has been trying to overcome me. Just stopping to take my Moment with God, although it is turning into hours, is helping me. Fear always tries to appear as a new player but I recognize it as the same old actor I have dealt with so many times before. Thanks for your reminder and encouragement that turning to a God Moment will help us see more clearly.

do not interfere within me.

- 4/18/2012I try to translate.

- 4/18/2012Thanks, Evan.

- 4/18/2012Agradezco mucho Evan tu hermoso Lift!!!
Cristy

- 4/18/2012Thanks Evan...

- 4/18/2012I did the math wrong....it is 3600 ( three thousand six hundred ) seconds when Jesus says to watch one hour. Ratio 1/3600. I am not going to get into infinity, which is what God's Love is always.

- 4/19/2012Thank you, Evan...can you imagin what it would be like if everyone strives to make every moment "a God moment"... then we would demonstrate having "the Mind of Christ" as stated in the Sixth Tenet-by Mary Baker Eddy "And we solemnly promise to watch and pray for that Mind to be in us which was also in Christ Jesus, to do unto others as we would have them do unto us; and to be merciful, just and pure."
