Dear Evan,
thank you very much, good to hear that again from someone else today! This evening I take part in an important meeting, where we elect a new board for our Foundation, and it has been preceded by a lot of tension between the members, for various reasons. So I have been clinging on to that very thought, "no worries" in prayer - "no worries, God has it all under control, in God'd realm there is no discord, in his Love there can be no desire or ability to harm, so everything will be okay". And when this tight feeling of worry would wash over me when there was little time for prayer, it was quickly washed away with a brief affirmation: "no worries, God has it all under control". The nasty e-mails have since stopped and now I am even looking forward to this evening, to see all these people again, looking forward to all those constructive ideas that will invariably come up.
So "no worries" everyone!

Dear Evan
Interesting to hear your thoughts.
We all have a direct line to God, but it is having the humility to listen to Him first and then will we have ON WORRIES.
One would like to ask everyone who is listening to this message, to pick up that personal reciever they have to God. Yes wonderful things will be revealed to His perfect spiritual child of God.
All have a wonderful adventure.
Love in Christ,
Peter Reichl-Cunningham.

There is an old song which goes:- "Why worry - why worry -worry gets you nowhere at all". It is said that a dog "worries" a bone - he shakes it about, and chews it up. We don't need to chew over a problem, or shake it about as if it is something real - we just need to know there is nothing to worry about.
With confidence in God's ever-present help in every need, we have no worries - He is taking care of every event in our lives.
Thank you for this reminder, Evan.

Thank you, Evan. Some years ago, a practitioner friend told me to put a post-it-note up on the mirror with the message "Remember! God has it all worked out already." Another wonderful way we remind ourselves "no worries." Much love to all from southern California.

Recently in a debate I heard someone saying we have become a land of warriors. That wasn’t nice. But why? I ask, because we are a boggle generation with so many crime, monster, and sex movies that we see enemies everywhere.
Religion is old fashion, morals are out of season, and God is not named because is not “cool“.
The next worry? The end of the world.
I think we are at the same point Moses was when he got the 10 Commandments.
Shall we revise them? http://bible.cc/exodus/20-1.htm

Once, as a teenager while in school in Switzerland, we took the train to Florence Italy. We got off the train at Santa Maria Novella train station and asked the first local we met, "Croce Di Malta?" and he signaled with his hands for us to follow him on foot across the plaza to our hotel, only a few minutes of walking. Help could not have been more radical, or complete, taking us all the way. Just so we can trust God to meet our immediate needs, no matter how young or old we are or where we happen to be.

Yesterday someone in my class planned on studying with me but he got busy and never called me back. He sent me a message and said he was really sorry about that. I sent him a simple message back" no worries" . Kind of funny to see the topic of the daily lift about 4 hours later. There is only one mind.

Being free from worry can be contagious. Many years ago I lost my salaried comfortable job, and had to make a go of it self employed; which was not free from difficulties and worries. But at the time I was taking my first steps in Christian Science, which I was (and still am) convinced is the most powerful remedial agent on the planet.
After a several years of surviving on much reduced income and hard work my Dad confided how much he admired my positive attitude and how I seemed to be free from worry.
His remark made me more aware of and grateful for the blessings of Christian Science.
How can you worry when your eye is on the high goal?
There is a real reason to have "No worries".

Nearly right, Evan. You probably need a few more visits to get the inflexion "Australian". And I lived for much of my life far away from big towns (which the British refer to as 'villages') so "No worries" is always followed by 'mate'. Except that our US friends think we're saying 'mite.' But just as the human ego would love to have us believe it is the Creator, the Origin, 'the centre of the Universe including man', these words can cause great consternation when used by those in whom we simply have no confidence at all. . .
Nate, today I had some posters printed off your originals, and the printer was very complementary about the quality of your production, in both metric and imperial measurements. The posters are really ultra. No worries, Nate. Too easy. Thanks to the team, the BoL and lecturers; and our Daily Lift mates.

Thanks Evan, that's a good one ! Now to practice it ! I have often been told "you worry too much" As Nancy says in #2 Worry is ingratitude in advance. Ungrateful is the last thing I am, for I have so much for which to be grateful. So now I will stop worrying and trust God more. Thanks Evan and what a wonderful lecture it was too, both on-line and in person. 'No worries', 'unbelievable', 'unreal'.... are all responses that remind me all is harmonious and working in total accord with God. Any false sense of worry is null, void, there are no worries in God's kingdom which encompases all. No worries in God's volcabulary - nothing seperate from God to worry about, free from fear, confusion, worry. All is in God and all is good. I sometimes have an inner smile when someone responds with words like 'no worries' , 'that's unreal' or 'unbelievable'. It's a mini affirmation of Truth. Other times it can be just what I need to remind me to snap out of a mortal sense, turn to Soul and deny any false sense of unreality.

Oh man! Thanks so much for this great lift. I was just thinking about where Eddy says "Study thoroughly the letter and imbibe the spirit" because the way you say 'no worries' does both! It has the firm declaration that there truly is nothing to worry about and then the joyous, light-hearted, love-filled way in which you say it indicates the spiritual love that guides us throughout the day. Just a dull 'no worries' would be merely words and not have much of an effect. That spirited 'no worries' breaks through the caverns of fear with the light of divine Love reflected!

Thanks so much, Evan, for the "no worries" inspiration as it's just what I have been praying about this past week. A beautiful Siamese cat living in the woods behind our house has been coming up to eat with the raccoons we feed. I noticed lately that she was getting quite fat and last Saturday she had a litter of kittens. They are currently in the storage space under the floor in a camping trailer we have parked in our side yard. I have been praying for their survival every time they come to my thought, which is very often. In addition to the raccoons we have other wildlife including bears that come into our yard. Now I can add "no worries" - thanks!

Evan, many thanks. I arrived in Australia as a migrant early in the 70's and the 'no worries' expression always impacted me as a sign of easy going people who are always willing to be of assistance. I think this is the first time I heard it from a Christian Science Lecturer. It was like a special message for all 'Aussies' to keep us alert to the fact that there are no worries in the spiritual universe we live in. Thanks, Evan! And welcome back from Australia! While it IS wonderful to have a positive outlook on Life and to "not worry", we also need to "sufficiently understand God to be able to demonstrate His power to heal....." (From Science and Health in our Bible Lesson this week.) Christian Science is not about blithely saying, "Oh, God will take care of everything!" We need to do our part by keeping Truth active in thought. We need to drop our present beliefs and make that shift into spiritual consciousness to really be effective in helping our world overcome the challeges we are all facing now. One of the challenges we are facing in the United States is the ruling of the Supreme Court on the proposed Health Care Plan. I believe Mrs. Eddy said something to the effect of, "Work, work, work, watch and pray." Happy productive weekend to All!

A Christian Scientist friend just sent me a YouTube chronicling the comings and goings of a family with two young children who nearly lost their lives when their home and car burned to the ground. The video went on the show how a whole city got together and built the family a new, completely furnished home, three times the size of their original one. Such community spirit and Christian charity was quite stirring.
And Evan's inspiring depiction of God's allness clarifies for me what is possible if we have the courage to reach out, accept and trust God's love. For years I was too filled with panic and remorse when things weren't going my way. Finally I am learning that the good is always there if we surrender to it instead of giving into a fear of lack.
Thanks to Evan for leading the way!!!

Thanks! No worries - no worriers!
Yesterday I had an interesting effective conversation with a site manager, he is called on that site "the worrier". Mentally I was affirming that Principle is at work while he started with his ..."but I´ve concerns about"... At once I interrupted him and said firmly that he should see it sporty and not be played out on the last meter. He was very perplexed, but replied that all is well. Today he is happily at work, with the confidence that they will keep the deadline.

Thank you, Evan! It reminds me of a little "game" I made up years ago. It's a mental exercise that I've used ever since, to establish and maintain a mind set of rejoicing and gladness, so that I can "gratitude" myself towards healing, when healing seems necessary. I named the game,"The Christian Challenge!" :-) No matter what the experience, I'd remind myself in a tee-shirt-slogan-kind-of-way, "Real Christians Don't Worry!" Then I'd mentally declare the spiritual facts I know about God. Some of my favorites: "God is good. God is all. God is Love. God is all. We're God's children and God guides and protects us. God is all. There is no other power. God is all." Then recently, I read (maybe even as part of one of these comments one day), "Why pray, when you can worry?" :-) Because I, my dear, am a real Christian. :-) "No worries!!!"...and we can prove it!!! Thanks again, Evan!!!...and also, thanks for all comments - like the wind beneath the wings of each Daily Lift, always taking me even higher...everyone's perspective, expands my own, helping me to stretch spiritually as I'm experiencing the One Mind being made manifest in the online community...thanks especially #2 - Nancy and #31 Gwenn Gurnack. :-)

Evan, much thanks for this Lift. I'm convinced that worry is the biggest sin of Christians. I've pled guilty & resolved to quit more times than I can count. With Julie Ward's mini video this week, I'm not pleading guilty, but am working to watch and listen for angels that fill my thought so I know I have nothing to worry about. Until this Lift, I don't think it ever occurred to me to ask our Father if I should worry about whatever I needed to work on metaphysically. I've gone to Him many times to seek an answer, but now realize I wasn't asking the right question! This gives me a prayer to work with, not just my usual resolve to do better.
Hey, it just worked! Typing this to post, I suddenly had a blank page, and was typing what I thought was for saving, then saw it all was gone. Fresh with this prayer, I pushed "ctrl + Z" repeatedly and all the new typing vanished letter by letter, but my comments did not reappear. Holding to the "no worry" answer, I stopped and saw I had clicked for a new page, instead of "save". My words were safe beneath the new page. I was so proud I managed to get my remarks with much less words, but had to add this instant testimony!

We have a friend who when asked "How are you?" always replies "All is well". Dear Lori in Northern California #37 -- Bless you for caring for this little family. I believe that God communicates with all His creation, and led that mama to your site. "No worries" as a reminder of God's control also can refer to the steps He gives us to take in any situation. You can help the mom and litter by Googling cat rescue in your area and being led to a protective foster home for the Siamese family. Northern California is a big place and although I'm there too, we may not be close. But if you need further help, I'll "listen" with you to see if together we can see a solution unfold. candaceo@aol.com

After a night with an interval of worries, I am very grateful for all these ideas and your initiating them, Evan. I just had the thought that since God does not worry, man cannot be so-o-o unlike him. (Science and Health pg 475)
Thanks to our faithful DL team for another superb week. . I wish the whole world would tune in. I do share many of the messages.

Thank you, Evan, and all the wonderful Lifters for your inspiring comments. Trust truly is the only requirement to diminish and eliminate the supposed need for worry. Just as Spring shows us the rebirth of the daffoldils, tulips, and irises that seemed to be missing, so God shows us that His provision is never-ending. We just need to trust in Him with all our heart. Worries come from thinking that as mortal beings we need to take care of that which God has already taken care, in His timeline - not ours - for us, His spiritual children. As has been said before in so many other Lifts, just "Let go, Let God"!

Thank you Evan for your inspiring Daily Lift and your wonderful Lectures in Australia. Also what a treat to scroll down and read all the thought provoking comments expanding the concept of "no Worries". I would love to add this amazing verse from
Hymn 224 by John Ryland
He that has made my heaven secure
Will here all good provide;
While Christ is rich, can I be poor?
What can I want beside?
O God, I cast my care on Thee;
I triumph and adore;
Henceforth my great concern shall be
To love and praise thee more.
Have a care free, worry free day!

Thank you Evan, am pleased you liked the expression which Australians use and mean as they
say : "No worries Mate "(pronounced as Mite) and another phrase which is used to complete that is "she'll be right"!!!.. Indeed. We need not worry about anything . Our Father-Mother God is making sure that all will be right!
Thank you for your inspiring talk whilst in Oz.

I have not been getting "Daily lift" sent to my inbox, but today needed a "lift" so I tuned in and read this. I am late commenting, but I wanted to acknowledge appreciation. I have been, trying to change the word, from worry to concern for my own useage. It still had the flavor of no-faith/doubting God's provision. I really like this approach better. I am going to adopt it. Thank you for sharing what you gained from your visit to Australia. Another boost up to Higher Ground. thank you so much

I, too, have been hearing the phrase "no worries" said by more and more people. I loved hearing how to think about it from a spiritual standpoint. Saying that phrase really does help us correct any discordant situation!

- 3/30/2012Dear Evan,
thank you very much, good to hear that again from someone else today!

- 3/30/2012Dear Evan
Interesting to hear your thoughts.
We all have a direct line to God, but it is having the humility to listen to Him first and then will we have ON WORRIES.
One would like to ask everyone who is listening to this message, to pick up that personal reciever they have to God. Yes wonderful things will be revealed to His perfect spiritual child of God.
All have a wonderful adventure.
Love in Christ,

- 3/30/2012Thanks so much, Evan. I smiled when I saw the title of today's Lift. I just knew it had to be prompted by your recent trip to Oz. It's a lovely reminder which I'll now think of every time I hear someone use that phrase.

- 3/30/2012Thank you Evan. I am just starting final preparations for an exam I have to take later today which I need to pass in order to continue with my work so your Lift was most timely and helpful. God knows how to do it and as His reflection - so do I. No worries !

- 3/30/2012There is an old song which goes:- "Why worry - why worry -worry gets you nowhere at all".

- 3/30/2012Thank you, Evan. Some years ago, a practitioner friend told me to put a post-it-note up on the mirror with the message "Remember! God has it all worked out already." Another wonderful way we remind ourselves "no worries." Much love to all from southern California.

- 3/30/2012Recently in a debate I heard someone saying we have become a land of warriors.

- 3/30/2012Once, as a teenager while in school in Switzerland, we took the train to Florence Italy.

- 3/30/2012Yesterday someone in my class planned on studying with me but he got busy and never called me back. He sent me a message and said he was really sorry about that. - 3/30/2012Being free from worry can be contagious.

- 3/30/2012Nearly right, Evan.

- 3/30/2012Thanks Evan, that's a good one ! Now to practice it ! I have often been told "you worry too much" As Nancy says in #2 Worry is ingratitude in advance. Ungrateful is the last thing I am, for I have so much for which to be grateful. So now I will stop worrying and trust God more. Part of hymn 291 in the C.S. hymnal says"What tomorrow may betide Calmly to Thy wisdom leave;'Tis enough that Thou wilt care,Why should I the burden bear? "

- 3/30/2012Thanks Evan and what a wonderful lecture it was too, both on-line and in person.

- 3/30/2012Oh man!
Nelly

- 3/30/2012Thanks so much, Evan, for the "no worries" inspiration as it's just what I have been praying about this past week.

- 3/30/2012Evan, many thanks. God makes sure that everything is kept perfect and in harmony. I am also grateful for the magnificent lectures you gave us 'down under'.

- 3/30/2012Thanks, Evan!

- 3/30/2012A Christian Scientist friend just sent me a YouTube chronicling the comings and goings of a family with two young children who nearly lost their lives when their home and car burned to the ground.

- 3/30/2012Thanks!

- 3/30/2012Thank you, Evan! :-)

- 3/30/2012once I was with my mum and brother in a public show outdoors. I had gone to the public bathroom and I had given my mum my cell phone, and when I returned to the place we were, my mum and broth were not there any more! I couldn't call her to ask her where she was because she had my cellphone! I thought to my self "Ok, God, where are they?". I sat down and waited for God's answer, then I said "Oh!, there is mum!". - 3/30/2012Evan, much thanks for this Lift.

- 3/30/2012Thanks Evan for bringing deeper meaning to this phrase used often in New Zealand too. And Margaret, Sunshine Coast thanks, mate, for adding a bit of humour! We have a friend who when asked "How are you?" always replies "All is well". When we acknowledge that "It is well" as the Shunnamite women did in an emergency situation, (II Kings 4:26) how can we possibly entertain worries. No worries - all is well!

- 3/30/2012Dear Lori in Northern California #37 -- Bless you for caring for this little family.

COMING UP ELECTION TIME IN NOVEMBER WITH SO MUCH GOING ON, I FEEL BY PRAYING FOR THE TRUTH AND LISTENING THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY WORRY. THEN STAND AND GO FORWARD WITH NO WORRIES.

- 3/31/2012I usually listen to The Daily Lift early in the morning, but I didn't get around to this one until now, after 11:00 p.m. I'm glad I waited because this was exactly what I needed to hear right now. Thank you so much.

- 3/31/2012One more addition to Evan's excellent Daily Lift "No Worries." is that song "Don't Worry, Be Happy." Oh, how I love that song. I even put it onto my I-PAD and listen to it from time to time. What I do thou, is add;
"Don't Worry, Be Happy, God is here, nothing to fear." And the worries just fades away in it's native nothingness.

- 3/31/2012After a night with an interval of worries, I am very grateful for all these ideas and your initiating them, Evan. I just had the thought that since God does not worry, man cannot be so-o-o unlike him. (Science and Health pg 475)
Thanks to our faithful DL team for another superb week. . I wish the whole world would tune in. I do share many of the messages.

- 3/31/2012Thank you, Evan, and all the wonderful Lifters for your inspiring comments.

- 4/1/2012Thank you Evan for your inspiring Daily Lift and your wonderful Lectures in Australia. Also what a treat to scroll down and read all the thought provoking comments expanding the concept of "no Worries". I would love to add this amazing verse from
Hymn 224 by John Ryland
He that has made my heaven secure
Will here all good provide;
While Christ is rich, can I be poor?
What can I want beside?
O God, I cast my care on Thee;
I triumph and adore;
Henceforth my great concern shall be
To love and praise thee more.
Have a care free, worry free day!

- 4/1/2012Thank you Evan, am pleased you liked the expression which Australians use and mean as they
say : "No worries Mate "(pronounced as Mite) and another phrase which is used to complete that is "she'll be right"!!!.. Indeed. We need not worry about anything . Our Father-Mother God is making sure that all will be right!
Thank you for your inspiring talk whilst in Oz.

- 4/2/2012I have not been getting "Daily lift" sent to my inbox, but today needed a "lift" so I tuned in and read this.

- 4/2/2012I, too, have been hearing the phrase "no worries" said by more and more people. I loved hearing how to think about it from a spiritual standpoint. Saying that phrase really does help us correct any discordant situation!
