3/28: Sharing your faith

3/28: Sharing your faith

Here's a blog Brian wrote. It's shares the backstory of how Daily Lifts became included on the Call on Faith mobile app.
Here's Call on Faith's website. There you can learn more about the app and also how to download it to your own mobile device for $0.99.
  1. Many thanks Brian for this great reminder! Yes. "...sharing [our faith] with others we learn more of what we truly understand about our own faith and that of others." "For we must share, if we would keep/ That blessing from above;/ They cease to have who cease to give:/ Such is the law of Love." (Christian Science Hymnal #182),

  2. In college I avoided talking religion, it was not cool. I usually would study the daily Bible Lesson and go on with my day. Challenges came and went, and looking back, that lesson was like a strong shield that protected me.
Ah, but one day two ladies knocked at my door to talk about religion, I ended up sharing CS with them, and I never stopped doing it. What a feeling!
It was then that I realized what I really had, the realization that God was always with me.
I am so grateful for CS!

  3. Good offerings. I look forward to finding out more and continuing to build spiritual community through the christian science daily lifts and extended activities. Thanks so much. This is a tireless, abundant resource for good. Have a great day and again, many thanks.

  4. Dear Brian,

Oh, how I need to realise this daily when we are meeting God's children everywhere. Mary Baker Eddy didn't keep the Science of
Christianity quiet! Where would we be today if she hadn't shared!

  5. Keep it simple. I like to share an everyday healing, or a lack of need for healing, like our son didn't get an earache till he was about 5, and it was healed in the same evening. Often the 'little' healings are more readily heard, rather than the dramatic. I keep a Science and Health in the trunk of my care, ready to give it away, and I have given 'em away like that, like the day the lady gas station attendant was crying (or trying not to cry). Many people have given to me--ideas that helped me, quotes to think about, stories of healing that I long remember, books and pamphlets. I love to give back, as divine Love moves Her good ideas throughout Her spiritual universe, and I'm grateful when those good ideas flow through me. Thank you, Brian, Nate, musicians, and the whole team, including the Lifters community!

  6. Thank you.

  7. God's assurance to Moses- "I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say," is a constant reminder to me, to let God's love speak through me, with joy and humor and compassion. It helps me more than the person I am sharing kindnesses with. Thanks for the memories, Brian.

  8. Sharing anything is such a wonderful pastime!
It does give you such joy, respect and faith in others when giving.. IT ALWAYS COMES BACK IN SO, SO MANY DIFFERENT VERSIONS...

  9. For me the verb "share" means not keeping everything to one's self, for example as in sharing food with someone else. Sharing faith is not keeping the good news to ourselves; and how could we? In this season when we are preparing our gardens, we can share the seeds of Christian Science, and be sure that new flowers will spring up.

  10. Once, a long time ago after I had grown up and moved away from the Christian Science Sunday School that I had attended, I opened my door one evening to find a young man and his two small children who were coming to admonish me to "accept Jesus." I recognized the young man as someone substantially younger than I from my previous home town. He had gone on to another religion. I felt moved and caught off guard, so to speak, but I did not reveal my identity to him nor did I tell him I knew who he was, humanly. I recalled instead what Paul tells us in Ephesians IV.5 "One Lord, one faith, one baptism."
Thank you for sharing the Daily Lift.

  11. Thank you Brian, today I sent yesterday's message to a loved one, to do with moving mountains..sharing whatever we have, is a good way to go! Much appreciated, and thanks to all of you for making this conversation possible. Blessings Be!

  12. Thanks, Brian. For this topic, I had to stay up to type this. Christian Science is so useful and logical, it's easy to share. Rarely, I get a thought it's not wise to share at the time. People brag on doctors & successful meds. We can share Bible truths! Jesus, in danger before time for crucifixion, sometimes said not to tell, but he sent healed patients to the temple to SHOW (where more than priests would see). He sent John Baptist's disciples to testify what they saw. He chose 12 helpers and sent 70 before him to let people know. See Matt.4:23-25.We shouldn't sing Hymn 414, I love to tell the story", if we genuinely don't love to tell. I wrote the following in '09.

"Testimonies" (to tune of CS Hymn 414, no refrain)

    They love to tell their stories of help which came from above;
Just as the old hymn says, of Jesus and Christ's love.
    They listened for their Father, to tell them what to do;
He's talking to us now, For them, for me, and you.
If you will tell your story, someone will surely feel
The love of ancient glory, is fresh, is here, and real.

When our stories are collected, and told here and around,
    They'll reach from angels in heaven, to lost souls on the ground;
    Who one by one will add healing stories of their own;
Till every knee has bowed, and God, as All, is known.
So listen to these stories, they're precious, every one,
And all will someday find God's kingdom, here, is come.

  13. Thank you one and all. Yes we do need to share the Truth.

  14. Thank you, Brian . Sharing is manifesting love for another...and others. Our faith grows or enlarges, becomes more compelling, when shared with others. My spouse and I have experienced blessings from a small Bible study group we periodically attend with our son. Our named denominations may differ, but we find our faith to be much the same, as we know our one Parent is identical! And thanks to J.S. in KY, #14, for your hymn, and your many gratefully prepared responses to these Daily Lifts.

  15. Thanks #12 for the great poem set to the hymn we know. It's a keeper!

  16. The hope of the world could well lie in this momentous effort to share the pearl of wisdom bringing love and healing. However, I feel very reticent to risk trying to explain the fact of matter being unreal - if the question came up. I do not have an adequate statement of explanation, and would rather not speak than "let the side down" with faltering unconvincing words. I welcome any suggestions of solid unwavering simple words to give regarding this.

  17. Thank you Brian for the reminder that the spirit within us all is love. Here's to taking time to pausing thrughout the day and practicing the "presence" .

    Muchas gracias, Brian

  19. Thank you Brian for helping all of us realize sharing is always from the heart. It is like a fountain of water rising up in us to share with anyone who loves God. Jesus showed us in so many ways how to share Love like he did with the woman at the well. What you love is always easy to share. Thank you!

  20. Thanks, Brian! What an interesting and refreshing topic! I just went to a presentation by the Committee on Publication for Idaho on Sunday. She had us practice answering the question: "Why are you a Christian Scientist?" She said it's often helpful to ask a question back first: "What do you know about Christian Science?" That can give you an idea of any misconceptions the person might have and gives you an opportunity to clear up impositions about Christian Science that are definitely out there in the world! I have always found it very easy to tell people I'm a Christian Scientist and to share a little of the teachings with them. Since most of my non-Scientist friends are more "New Age" and into alternative methods of healing and thinking - they are very receptive. I have more trouble talking with Christians of other denominations - there just seems to be more resistance there. One of my biggest fears of sharing my faith is that people will think I'm trying to "convert" them and I don't want to be thought of as a "Bible Thumper"! I think sharing Christian Science has a lot to do with my motives for doing so. And also, I've realized I need to really listen and see if it is appropriate to share my faith at this time with this person. Sometimes, I've found, it's not! Good topic! Looking forward to hearing other Lifters' comments and experiences with sharing Christian Science with the public!

  21. Thank you.

  22. Mary Baker Eddy says ,"Give a cup of cold water in Christ's name, and never fear the consequences." I think of this often when I am sharing. And, I pray God to "be with my mouth." Thank you for this wonderful lift!

  23. Occasionally we rent a sweet little place that we own in the city. Along with cable and internet, I keep a CD player next to the bed with a variety of different CD's to cover many music venus. Including with those, I add "God's Law of Adjustment" that can be purchased in Christian Science reading rooms. My neighbors who sometimes also rent do not think it a good idea to leave CD's at all, but I find that a simple prayer knowing that angels guard over my place and all therein or that my place is "under the feathers of the Almighty" keeps my place safe and all my CD's have always stayed where they belong in good condition. However, I mentally offer to anyone my realtor rents my place to, that if "God's Law of Adjustment" is helpful to you in a time of need, you may take it with you when you leave, with my blessings. I have replaced that CD 5 times now. It is one simple way that I nonverbally share the treasures of my faith with others.

  24. Re: Jocelan in #16. I know how you feel. Here's something that has helped me: There's a great Bible tradition about our perennial perception of being unable to speak for God. Remember Moses, questioning and even arguing with God. Same with Abraham. Samuel did not respond at first call. There were others. We don't know what happened during Jesus' "40 days" in the wilderness, but it was only at the end that he was ready to speak effectively for God. Paul "kicked against the pricks". Peter argued with God before he gained the understanding of his vision. We need to treat ourselves to eliminate fear, to eliminate unwillingness, to respond both to God's nudges and people's needs. Don't most people need first to hear that God knows them and loves them? That's always my deepest need. "There is no matter" can wait until it fits naturally. Check out in Acts how differently Paul preached to the pagans than he did to his fellow Jews and "God fearers." He met each of them where they were.

  25. Thanks so much, Brian!
How can we not share what has blessed us so greatly?
With these encounters with other faiths, everyone is blessed.

  26. P.S. A lot of people are familiar now with Wayne Dywer, Depak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle and others who are out there speaking and publishing works that seem very close to Christian Science, at least with the divine metaphysics part of it. They don't put their ideas and works in the Christian, Bible and Jesus domain. This brings up the question, "Do you have to believe in Jesus and the Bible to experience and perform healings using divine metaphysics?" Can the religion and teachings of Christian Science ever be taken out of the context of Christianity and the Bible?

  27. In the summer I attend Chatauqua by the Sea in Ocean Park, ME, which is a lovely ecumenical church, having Sunday sermons from many different denominations throughout the summer (Lutherin, Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist, etc. Even Catholic and Jewish faiths are represented every so often, and this past summer, two pastors on the fringe of the Progressive movement were included as was a Southern Fundamentalist. I also continue the study and practice of Christian Science. When sharing my faith with others during our band concert social after service, I tell people that Christian Scientists are the holiest people I have ever known and often innocently get for an answer, "I didn't know that." This is my way of shedding light on a church I so love and have come to identify with spiritually. Thought you'd like to know... Also it is my prayer that Christians (known to squabble with one another) at The Church of the Sepulcher in Jerusalem tear down the interior walls built that divide the various Christians groups there so that everyone visiting can worship our one God together in Christ, joyfully, in one open space, like we do at Chatauqua-by-the-Sea (and the original Chatauqua in upstate New York).
Praise God for that in advance !!!

  28. Thank you Brian. I enjoy sharing what I learn in Christian Science, The rewards are many. We are planting the seed of Truth and can walk away knowing that it "bears much fruit."

    Thanks again!

  29. Sharing our enthusiasm, is what a salesman does each and every day....our "product" is blessed and so much needed. Pass it on !

  30. Than you Brian for sharing how to share. I'm the only one in my family who is a Christian Scientist. And my family loves The Daily Lift and the website Spirituality.com.
Those short lectures are fantastic and I sent one to Facebook. And to my delight , my son said how much he loved that lecture which healed a wound of many years. Yes, joyfully and respectfully we can share the the living, loving, healing ideas of God's love to our friends co-workers and family.

  31. Thank you for this great lift today, Brian!

  32. Thank you, Brian.

For several years I was like a computer gathering information on Christian Science. As a result, I had a strong understanding of the Truth. It wasn't until a recent trip to The Mother Church in Boston that I had a profound healing. If I had to articulate ONE reason for the healing I would attribute it to what Sara. B. stated in her response to Jocelan in #16.

"Don't most people need first to hear that God knows them and loves them? That's always my deepest need".

"There is no matter" can wait until it fits naturally. Check out in Acts how differently Paul preached to the pagans than he did to his fellow Jews and "God fearers." He met each of them where they were."

Yes. Love is the answer. Again, Love is the answer. I can't say this enough. You can only reach them through Love. You can't have Truth without the Love and get healing! You have to let this healing Science meet the individual where they are at. Perhaps, there is a lesson in this for many. Sounds like a simple message but how many people who call themselves Christian Scientists really "get it". In my experience not everyone.

Dr. Tutt, one of the most renowned CS practioner and teacher had this to say in his lecture "Christian Science and the power of Love:"

"We can bring Christ to our fellows only through the power of Love, and not through the so-called power of hate or fear, or dislike, or condemnation.

Truth, Wisdom, Love, and Sincerity, to ALL Mankind!

    Rob Scott
    Chicago, IL

  33. Thanks, Brian. Good to remember that "sharing" is not "imposing" or "proselytizing" or "arguing" from a base of self-righteousness. I think of "sharing" as a "pouring out from an overflow of gratitude for God's great 24/7 love and protection. The realization of Love's seamless presence and power brings true happiness and..."Happiness is spiritual, born of Truth and Love. It is unselfish; therefore it cannot exist alone, but requires all mankind to share it" (Science and Health, pg.57)...and..."Has God entrusted me with a message to mankind? — then I cannot choose but obey" (Message to the Mother Church, 1901, pg. 30) and..."And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? And he said, Certainly I will be with thee..."(Exodus, 3:11-12)...and..."And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth?...have not I the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.(Exodus 4:10-12)...and..."Attempt nothing without God's help" (The First Church of Christ Scientist, and Miscellany, pg, 197). Thanks again, Brian. You certainly have inspired me!

  34. Just visited Call on Faith's website, with the Daily Lift featured as the newest channel. What a blessing - thank you Brian !

  35. Thank you. This message is perfect for me, right here and now. There is one MInd. We live in the brotherhood of God, Love. I need to cast out those negative fearful suggestions that are trying to drown God's command and be obedient to God's direction, after all he is governing all and everything works together for good for those who love God.

  36. Dear Brian, thank you so much and thanks to all for sharing your faith. J. S. I love your poetry and I love the music, I've heard it all my life in many churches, before i discovered Christian Science, how appropriate for sharing! To tell the old, old story , of Jesus and his love.

  37. I tell those around me that Christian Science found me. God has always been in my life, but the God of LOve as we know Him, God who made man in His image and likeness. God who heals because He only sees perfection, this "Pearl at a Great Price" that found me only a few years ago, this Truth I guard and protect until, after asking God, I sense that that individual would be receptive to "the cup of cold water" that treasure of knowing that GOD LOVES ALL. If I am asked more, then I can share with them, perhaps one of the wonderful healings I have had and tell them Healings happen every moment, God is not selective, to CSs. Demonstrations of God's Love continue NOW. That is when I might mention Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, or let the individual know that there are CS Reading Rooms nearby where one can get other writings from journals, etc. and where questions are answered, etc. That healings are taking place now and that we are ALL Loved and Cherished, by our Father, that is when I see a ray of hope ...this is when I know that my purpose is being fulfilled. I always listen for inspiration. Most every time, how I share the TRUTH is different...having found this "Pearl" I must demonstrate LOVE. GOD guides each of us, tenderly. Yes, as #24 Jan says, "how can we not share what has blessed us so greatly.....everyone is Blessed."
"Truth demonstrated is eternal LIfe." SH 288:31
Thanks for the "Lifts' as a way of sharing Truth & Love.

  38. I am so thankful that my best friend, a Christian Scientist, shared her faith with me! God is teaching me more and more of Who He is and all that He is through my deep spritiual bond with her! My best friend demonstrates to me every day that GOD IS LOVE! Amen to sharing our faith! May we reflect God's image and likeness every day as we WALK THE WALK with Jesus! Thank You Brian Talcott for this “Daily Lift”!

  39. THANK YOU BRIAN!
And to #16 Jocelan, You don't need to be afraid. If an opportunity comes up somewhere in a conversation, you can always share a simple encouraging thought with the other person. God will give you the words. What words? Share one of your own healings -- the simplest things.
Any example of prayer to God giving you help, guidance, healing gives encouragement to another person. They too can trust God more, no matter what religion (or no religion) they are. Our Father-Mother God is the parent of our neighbours too. If you tell your own story that is simple. Nobody can argue with it, because it is your own experience. You just say "This is what happened to me when I ......" You don't need to talk for the WHOLE TEAM of Christian Scientists! Your life is shining, so you won't let the side down. Fear not!
And thanks to #26 SAVED. Beautiful sharing of ideas and love of the One God, in a public "congregation"!

  40. I think about sharing thoughts on Christian Science kind of like sharing a wonderful recipe with others. If you have experienced something so good in your life, it is quite natural to want to share it with others. If you go about your day with a willingness to share, and love for your brother/sister in your heart, God always supplies an occasion to do so. Once it was while shopping in a mall. There was a group of people standing around a display of gloves. One man had a problem with his hand and those there were offering suggestions of help from their point of view, mostly medical. I thought to myself, I too have something to offer but was not sure how to go about it so I just siliently asked God to put the proper words in my mouth and all of a sudden I found myself telling him about Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, where he would find all he needed to know to heal his situation just as Jesus had healed. I soon left and as I walked along, the man came after me, stopped me and asked where he could buy this book. I told him about the Reading Room and we continued a more in depth conversation which came quite naturally about and I found myself truly a spokesman for God, because he was giving me His words to say. No need for false responsility as we go through our days with a willing heart to give that cup of cold water in Christ's name...sharing is my favorite thing to do. No need to keep "the good news" under a rock but share it with the world.

  41. Thanks, Brian! I was part of a Bookmobile in NYC during the same time you were sharting CS at Berkeley. Before we started out in our station wagon, the team prayed about what the location would be, and how best to reach the passersby. It was a great experience, and we had interesting contacts with all sorts of people, from those living on the Upper East Side (upscale, more affluent) and the Lower East Side (more ethnic and "down to earth"). Sharing is great!

  42. I was told that the early Christians were known by their love for each other. I truly feel that every time I check the Daily Lift and every time I go to church!!!!! Thank you all!!!! And........we feel God's Love for all mankind!!!! I go to the beach everyday and think about God's love for all mankind, it is a really holy experience.

  43. P.S. I would also like to say THANK YOU for this Daily Lift about sharing, Brian. Being good neighbors is very important and each of us can remember at least one story about someone having their need met by a neighbor who shared Christian Science with them. My own family found Christian Science through a neighbor's willingness to share with my Grandmother's family when there was great need for healing of her brother who had been sent home from the medical world with no hope of survival.....he was healed by the Truth's discovered in this book and lived a long life, sharing what was given to him. This one unselfish deed brought the family to Christian Science and we are still today, most grateful!! Thank you to all the Daily Lifters for your comments and now let's all be willing to share with the world this wonderful gift which has so lovingly and unselfishly been shared with us. Love to All, CayDee Kittredge

  44. Love these thoughts, thank you, Brian. It truly does crystalize our own understanding of God when we share that understanding with others!

  45. Thanks Brian! A recent cartoon in the New Yorker depicted a young man on the subway with no one sitting beside him on either side. On his t-shirt it said: "Ask me about my religion."

  46. Brian, a BIG THANK YOU for the sharing of your boldness as a young person in college and throughout your life! It reminds me of Paul's unrelenting willingness and boldness to share "The Word" for the benefit of his fellowman, and we certainly see the countless benefactors he gathered then and continues to gather now through the healing spirit of his writings! And the same success goes for your work by letting your light shine so brightly too; it spurs me on to look for additional ways that I, too, can do more of this reaching-out that uplifts and heals! Much love and gratitude for your great example of "living-to-give" the Truth!

  47. Thank you Brian and commenters! I'm really enjoying this conversation today as I'm not a Christian Scientist, and yet I look forward to hearing the Daily Lift everyday and feel a kinship with the lecturers and commenters. I really appreciate the comments from #26 and #27 as they mention their "New Age" friends (Bev) and worshipping at an ecunemical church in the summer (Saved). I was raised to be very sceptical of any organized religion. As an example, my mother would tell me about her two grandmothers, one who was a Methodist and not a nice person, and the other grandmother who never went to church, but was one of the kindest people one would ever hope to know. So my religious journey has been completely my own. I'm not drawn to the Bible although I appreciate hearing people talk about Jesus (I find that there are too many people who idolize the Bible, ignore all the contradictions, and I don't like all the violent stories-God can seem so capricious in the Bible). I get my inspiration from a book called "A Course In Miracles". God is never capricious and is at all times a God of Love. This is the book that has changed my life and resonates with me. I find the teachings to be very similar to MBE's "Science and Health". I'm a Unitarian Universalist as I appreciate the inclusive, ecumenical nature of this church, but occasionally I will attend services at the Christian Science Church in town. In the end, I don't think it matters what one reads, it's about how we walk our talk

  48. I have hesitated to go back to Biblestudy with christian friends because I just errupt with statements of truth. I promised myself I would be quiet, but when told we cannot expect miracles or healing when we pray, I practically shouted, but there is a HIGHER AUTHORITY, and it is with us always ! Sometimes it is not so easy to be the only one that believes in the power of prayer as Christian Scientest do. I do love my dear friends but I do feel the gap in the thought. That golden thread of spiritual power over materual beliefs in the Bible is actual and true. How can it be missed? Does anyone else have this experience when you live in an area where Christian Science is so misunderstood?

  49. Thanks Brian!

  50. Such encouraging and pure sharing. Thank you.

  51. Thanks Brian, this thought in the daily lift help break thru the barrier and illusion that "o nobody wants to hear about spiritual happenings in the world today." Mrs Eddy reminds us that God will supply the wisdom and the occasion for a victory over evil, for me occasion presenting itself or when the neccessity arises we will know when to speak and the exact thing to be said to bring loving comfort to a situation just as you mentioned. She goes on to say in the same passage that the cement of higher humanity will unite all interests in the one divinity.

  53. I'm very grateful for this uplifting message. I recently learned from a lecture that truth is not arrived at by vote. Truth does set us free to share with grace and power.

Note to #48: I have found it very worthwhile to share Christian Science with teens in juvenile detention. Many have no church or preconcieved notions. I just returned from a day of sharing with them, and as usual there were a large percentage that are so happy to find answers to their problems in the Bible..

I didn't have the same success in an interfaith group with adults, but I always did my best to be loving and joyous in my understanding. One Muslim woman and I connected and still remain friends. She asks for and receives my prayerful support.

  54. Thank you Brian! Very helpful approach you offered that can be very beneficial for our state institutional committee in outreach to prison chaplains. The description of your work with interfaith organizations was just what is needed in approaching correctional facilities and all those who work in them and the inmates who reside in them. Many thanks!

  55. So glad the CS Org (or, CDO) has an active presence at UC Berkeley!

  56. Thank you. A truely wonderful msg.

  57. Thank you for the Lift .
I suggest we take people to Wed. church services. ("Give a cup of cold water in Christ's name, and never fear the consequences." ) Then wait for thier questions.

  59. Thank you, Brian for your dedicated work and for this Lift. What a dynamic discussion this proved to be! #47 Felicia, I had an opportunity to read parts of The Course of Miracles when a friend lent it to my family years ago. I have always found a wonderful kinship with the students of that Course and found inspiration from books authored by students of that Course. One of my absolute favorites is "Love is Letting Go of Fear" by Gerald G. Jampolsky which I have bedside along with my Science & Health. Loving more and applying the inspired teachings is definitely most important when wanting to share with others. Thank you, # 33 nela, for those Biblical examples of reluctant servants! God will identify and help us overcome any resistance to share what we value so much. I love how Your Daily Lift is connecting us with all "seekers." Deep gratitude for everyone involved in bringing us the Daily Lift and for all who take the time to comment.

  60. My family came into Christian Science when my grandmother, in the early 1900's, was healed on her deathbed of tuberculosis. Nevertheless, her children and grandchildren have no interest in CS. One cousin has even been hateful to CS, tearing up a copy of S&H, calling it " rat poison." "the devil's work," etc. I later learned his untra-conservative pastors were preaching this sort of thing. I simply refrained from reacting. We don't live near one another, but over the years have maintained occasional friendly contacts. Religion is not discussed. A few years ago, it came out in conversation that he had no idea of CS teachings; didn't even know of his Grandma's life-saving healing! He was amazed. I learned that his father, the ultra-conservative one, had told his mother at marriage he wouldn't marry unless she promised never to mention CS. I'd had no idea where the antagonism had come from. But this dear aunt who married in middle age, deeply desiring children and family, had made this concession, fearing it might be her only chance. I was deeply moved by this story, and grateful that our families had maintained loving contact even in face of antagonism. He and his wife have cared for foster and adopted children, and continue to serve generously in their community, living their Christianity. I was so grateful that the error behind the condemnation of CS was uncovered. There is no shred of personal animosity among family members. CS enabled me to honestly love over the years.

  61. Thank you, Jean, for sharing your experience. A shining example of living Love.

  62. Dear Brian, I too graduated from U.C. Berkeley and attended the Org. What a blessing that was. I always hasten to say I went in pre-revolutionary times but you had such a wonderful oportunity to use what we know is the truth and share it in those trying times. I recently went to a workshop on sharing Christian Science and shortly thereafter I had an opportunity to share with the woman next to me on a plane trip. It all came about so naturally and I felt so peaceful about it. I also prayed to know that the good news had fallen on fertile ground. Thank you for sharing.
