Hey Fujiko! Thank you for Your Daily Lift. I remember hearing Joseph Komeju saying "Why don't we catch good health?" Indeed, why not? And certainly when we are with others who are obviously bursting with good health and blossoming joy, we feel that health and joy in own expression. We FEEL very happy, FULL of joy and well-being. When someone brings us good news, we respond with our own good expression of gratitude and love. As fast as thoughts of tenderness and kindness come to us from a friend, we are able to share these with others. Just as a mountain is reflected in a calm lake, so our expression of health and wellbeing is as perfect as divine Principle is perfect. Mrs Eddy also says in My: 210: "Good thoughts are an impervious armour; clad therewith you are completely shielded from the attacks of error of every sort."

I once proved that statement by Mrs. Eddy to be true.I maintained a Calm Christian State of mind whilst threatened with dysentry in a camp in The Pyrenees. iIwas able to minister to my fellow campers who had gone down with this sickness and remained totally well. The others quickly recovered too.

I love Mary Baker Eddy's use of the word "calm" in Mary Baker Eddy's quote "...a calm, Christian state of mind,..." rather than fearful or overwhelmed.
The other day I felt flu-like symptoms coming on; also felt by a neighbor who was on her second day in bed. I really didn't want the same experience. I thought, This is nothing but contagion -- understanding it as a medical system of belief that had nothing to to with me or anyone created by God, spiritually, in His/Her image and likeness. And that was the end of it for both me and my neighbor!
This Lift is a "keeper" and easy to share.

Last night I was listening to one of the Audio Chats at Spirituality.com and the discussion was about dementia. It was thought that dementia is a form of "mental" contagion. I interpret this to mean that because so many people believe that at a certain age(s,) one begins to forget small things and then larger ideas and then many people begin to believe that this is a normal state of things and like a cold is thought to be transmitted by germs, Alzheimer's/dementia are believed to be transmitted just because you have become a certain age or maybe because of heredity. As one picks up this belief, the vulnerability to "catch" this problem increases. I am so grateful to know that the truth of our being is not touched by mental problems and they cannot spread from person to person.

The little girl went back to her mother and asked, "Why should I get sick from her? Why shouldn't she get well from me?"

Yesterday, I was so clear in thought, as I didnt have time, as there were so many issues of others coming at me, that I had to know- all was in the kingdom of heaven. That kingdom hasnt changed from day to day. It is forever.

But this person is the only one from yesterday that didnt show progress. The special ed student in her Ard meeting, she committed to not avoid work and not sleep in class. The traffic voilator showed kindness. The hospice friend felt peace, the worker that was home sick ,came back to work today. But the one with the cold, is worried about me visiting in a few days.

I am so grateful that this lift is clear. Tomorrow is Daily Lift day for her, as I read one to her each week. She doesnt want them read each day. So, I look forward to sharing the Truth that makes all free.

As a young boy my mother was in a coma and not expected to live through the day.
My mother always taught me to pray and expect God's protection and Love.
So I took my small brother outside the house and away from all of the people,
and prayed. I told my little brother that our mother had more work to do here, to
be our mother and that God is with us and her. Then I took my brothers hand
and said, now let's go see the good results. As we went to her she was immediately
healed. I know that contagion or any harmful situation is not from God and we can
be free as we listen and walk with the Christ Truth which is God's Love for each of us.

I loved being inspired to think about how contagious the love of God is. How God's Love is the only thing I can be affected by. The Principle that governs us, governs all and all is good-God! Having worked in a marketing and development field, I know first hand that selling and idea is often more important than what it really offers. The media is looking for a way to hook you into matters grasp w/scary, loud and mesmerizing ads while divine Love is speaking peace to us. Thank you for alerting us to the fact that the Christ is speaking the truth to us all the time. The only time to use the mute button is on those lies and when we do, we can hear the Christ! Thank you Fujiko for a Scientifically healthy treatment!!

Every time I hear advertisements having to do with "Don't get the FLU, get a FLU shot." I quickly say to myself. "It flu in to fly out." Very simple NO!! to the flu. Like an airplane that misses a landing field, this simple declaration; "It flu in to fly out" has been my only protection from getting the flu for over 30 years, and I am past 70 years old. When one makes prayer simple, it makes one easier to demonstrait it.
