Thank you Lorenzo for this enlightening Lift. My two favorite words that best describe Christian Science are "here" and "now". Mary Baker Eddy says,"The spiritual reality is the scientific fact in all things." There is no having to wait for this to happen regardless of what mortal mind may be trying to tell us. When we bring the power of God to rest on a situation we can expect results here and now and not have to wait a prescribed amount of time or until we get to the so-called hereafter. Mrs Eddy says in S&H page 176,"When the mechanism of the human mind gives place to the divine Mind, selfishness and sin, disease and death, will lose their foothold."

Press on DL community, the belief of fetters will fall..

Everything you shared has been proven true in my own experience; from unemployment, having to pay back a huge debt, homelessness, addiction, total despair and rehab - all have been healed through the study and application of Christian Science. Praise God and Mary Baker Eddy's discovery and book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and all the church members, mentors, practitioners and teachers who helped me along the way.

Thank you for the inspiration brought to our journey today.

Ah, if we were to wake up and realize that we are going through a spiritual trek!
That we already are in that kingdom that Jesus said to be within us.
Nothing can change the fact that ―right now and forever― we are God's children.

(S&H 574). "Toward Thee, while pressing onward,/ The way will brighter grow,/ For Thou throughout the journey/ Thy loving care wilt show." (Christian Science Hymnal #376).

What a great Lift, Lorenzo! We are now, and not, thankfully,sometime in the future, in the Kingdom of God. The "future" which, of course, has no purpose or power. yes, its starts and ends within us, in our consciousness, if i could just remember that all day long! thanks for this definitive message Lorenzo.

I was watching a TV program Saturday featuring the world politics and events of WWII. I held clearly to the idea that the version of being shown is not the final word on God as Life. After all, I hold daily to the idea from “I know no life divided, O Lord of life, from Thee;” from Hymn 135. Then they showed a horse in trouble. The world became a sad place. WOW. What changed? I accepted “injustice”. All sorts of “injustices” popped up on my mental radar. What a mess.

Look at what I found written by Mrs. Eddy about watching funky TV programs (well, maybe)… or other such things.

“Symbols and elements of discord and decay are not products of the infinite, perfect, and eternal All. …All things beautiful and harmless are ideas of Mind….Finite belief can never do justice to Truth in any direction.” S&H 290:2, etc.

“Our false views of matter perish as we grasp the facts of Spirit.” S&H 281:28

“As mortals begin to understand Spirit, they give up the belief that there is any true existence
apart from God. “ S&H283:1 Well, yeah, I know that! (within already!) Whew! Awakening ideas cleaned up the mental mess.

But no matter what the physical appearance, we’re not really going anywhere because we’re already in God. That’s the Truth of our being. And so, “man’s extremity is God’s opportunity” – always! Our human circumstances? Opportunities to prove that the Truth of our being is always the Truth of our being – now? yes! even now? yes! how about now? yes! “Be still” and know! We cannot be moved out of God, out of the Truth of our being, by any human circumstance. Our “earth journey?” Opportunities for our individual and collective consciousness to be awakened to our Godlikeness. now? yes! even now? yes! how about now? yes! It’s the same Truth of being, we are being called to witness in part 1, 2, 3, and 4, as it is in Part 5 of our journey. Only the human circumstances change. We’re not really going anywhere – except in consciousness. There’s nowhere else to go – except in consciousness. The Truth of being is always the Truth! I love that Christ Jesus told us to "seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." To me the kingdom of God is the spiritualized consciousness you are referring to, the realm of the Mind of God, of which I partake by reflecting this Mind and no other mind, be it a nice human or bad human!! My spiritual origin as the child of God keeps me safe in my thinking, inside the kingdom of right thinking, of abundance, joy, healthy, harmony. What a great reminder as I/we journey on and finish our course with assurance and joy!
