Christmas Presence [57 mins ENG]
Christmas Presence weaves song, story and imagery from the Holy Land to tell the timeless story of Christ's coming. This artistic collaboration between Christian Science lecturer, Chet Manchester, and Mother Church soloist, Julia Wade has evolved and deepened since it was first shared two years ago. It includes new lecture content, a rare message about Christmas from The Mary Baker Eddy Library's documents and two new songs - a powerful arrangement of Psalm 23 and "Wonderful" in which composer/producer Peter Link set Eddy's words from the Preface to Science and Health to music. This recording of their program was made on December 3, 2011 when Chet and Julia shared Christmas Presence in First Church of Christ, Scientist, St. Louis. If you would like to see a video excerpt of their new program, visit: time4thinkers.com. If you're interested in hearing more of Julia's music, visit watchfiremusic.com.

- 12/20/2011Love this!! those exact words came to me today in my thought from MInd. As I was scurrying around tyring to figure out how to get this and that...and go here and there and waiting to be paid etc...and then..there was this thought of the Christmas Presence. I thank you for your weaving together of the song, the video and the verse to make this so complete and lovely, and bringing me that Presence....that I was lookiing for in presents.....Merri

- 12/22/2011Yes, perseverance certainly pays, as like #6, I too was informed of this through a friend but I couldn't access it except in 'fits and starts' which was spoiling the continuity, so I decided to just be patient and come back to it later when I then noticed your link of time4thinkers.com.but still the same problem. It is now 1.30am the next day and I suddenly thought that the internet may be 'happier' at this time, so as I finished that wonderful Daily Lift of "The Dawning of the Christ" with John Q. Adams, I decided to go to the lectures (on the right) and here I am with perfect reception and so grateful. It is delightful on every level, so please do keep trying #8 and everyone else that has a seeming problem as I have been so rewarded, especially as I had been in Bethlehem (and other wonderful places) with my husband in the 50's on our road trip from England to Australia and although he passed on over 30 years ago, this has brought back to my thought the "Presence" that brought us safely and joyously through all those glorious 29 countries, which lasted for twelve wonderful months of our lives. I don't normally write a comment, but I felt impelled to express my gratitude for the technology that allows us to join you with such ease from the other side of the world. I never miss the testimony meetings either, even though I listen on Thursdays!

- 12/23/2011This is the most beautiful thing I have heard this Christmas season. The music an inspiration. I have often thought how beautiful the 23rd Psalm paints a picture of peace, love, security, abundance. I want to play it again on Christmas Eve with my family. Thank you.

- 12/23/2011I was feeling the Christmas blaahs when I decided to take the time to pick up this e-mail and I can't tell you how much it has brought me up out of the doldrums and a spiritual high. Thank you so much for both the beautiful music by Julie and the lecture by Chet.

- 12/24/2011Thank you!! What a great gift you have given this year, Chet, Julia, Peter and all involved in this treasure --easy to open, cherish, fully possess -- and share! I'm knowing, as you must have, that the Christ that delivered it to you assures its receipt by us, the audience. Amazing enlightenment...packed with the enlivening Love Jesus outpictured and which the Christ leads us on in imitating moment by holy (and maybe challenging) moment. Love, Light, Joy, Peace, Progress, Prosperity -- Salvation -- to all!
