Canadian Journal-listed churches and societies can apply to the Christian Science Trust in Canada for financial assistance with small projects that will contribute to an existing structure. The project(s) may include building repairs, refurbishment and/or upgrade but may not include land, rent, or general operating expenses. The amount of the Trust grant in support of such project(s) may be up to 80% of the project cost and for a maximum grant of $5000. Branches are eligible for this grant no more than once in three years.

Canadian Journal-listed churches and societies can apply to the Christian Science Trust in Canada for financial assistance with a building project that will enhance public accessibility to a Reading Room and/or branch church building. Examples of eligible Public access grant projects include wheelchair ramps, elevators, alternative devices such as stairlifts, or alterations that facilitate access for individuals with mobility concerns (e.g. signage, washrooms, lighting, stairs, access ways, doors). The grant can also be used to make changes to existing devices to comply with current safety standards. This grant is not to be used to offset land, rent, or general operating expenses. The grant is generally for up to 50% of the project cost.
