The Mother Church, the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston has members from over 130 countries and “branch” churches, societies, and informal groups in more than 80 countries.
This global, Manual-based activity is supported by staff in Boston, workers around the world (communications coordinators and Treasurer's representatives), and individual members. Members contribute through prayer, sharing Christian Science in multiple languages, translations, and more.
Visit the Christian Science Plaza while you're in town
The Mother Church is located near the heart of Boston on the picturesque Christian Science Plaza. There are beautiful buildings and gardens, a fountain, and a reflecting pool. The Plaza hosts various public events, and is also home to The Mary Baker Eddy Library and its world-famous Mapparium®.
