John Biggs, a TMC Youth staffer and Sunday School teacher, hosts a twice weekly conference call for teachers, superintendents, and Sunday School supporters. These calls serve as an environment for discussing ideas and challenges in our Sunday School experiences. The calls explore a weekly theme, like 'feeling fresh every Sunday,' and discussion launches from there.
During the course of the call, resources from this Sunday School site, as well as Time4Thinkers.com, will be shared as it fits into the conversation.
These calls are all about embracing, and being embraced by, the global Sunday School community. You are so welcome to join these calls! Everyone would love to hear your ideas and offer responses to your questions.
You can now sign up for weekly email blasts from the Sunday School team at TMCYouth!
Join the conference call on Tuesday, March 11, at 3:15pm Eastern / 12:15pm Pacific USA. We will be playing Radical Acts / the Game online together.
To participate in the call, dial this US number: (530) 881-1212 and enter this meeting ID: 141-629-897 # (Please note that this is not a toll-free number; you will be responsible to your phone provider for any long-distance charges incurred.)
To view the screenshare that will accompany our call, go to www.screenleap.com/GSSTuesday.
Let's play Radical Acts / the Game! If you've never played before (or never heard of it), this will be a perfect time to get acquainted with the Game. And if you have played it, you know you love it and we'd love to play with you! Available in both offline and online versions, on this call we'll play the online version and take advantage of the screenshare to play together. Sunday School teachers have given fruitage of how playing Radical Acts / the Game has been a perfect segue for discussion, a great opening for the class, or a neat call to action to encourage their students to keep living as Christ Jesus taught, throughout the week. How has the Game enriched your Sunday School experience? Come play with us, tell us your stories, and be inspired by others!
You're also always encouraged to head over to the Sunday School discussion forum to share responses to what others have asked about teaching Sunday School, and to voice your own questions! There's also a running discussion thread with summaries of past conference calls - check it out and share your follow-up questions and ideas there.
With all of us supporting the blessed idea of Sunday School, and each other, our communities and families are bound to feel embraced.
Please fill out this form to request a tour of the online Sunday School resources, or to request a specific conference call subject for you and your group.
