For some 35 years Maryl Walters has been a practitioner of Christian Science healing, joyfully helping people find solutions to their own and world problems through the practical Christianity found in Mary Baker Eddy’s book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. In 1994 she became a teacher of Christian Science and was also appointed to the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. Since then, she has presented talks and workshops on Christian Science across North America to a variety of groups in many different venues. She also writes for the Christian Science Sentinel and has been interviewed on Sentinel Radio

Maryl is involved with local interfaith activities and dialogue groups and is vice-chair of the cabinet of the St. Louis Interfaith Partnership. She is currently representing the Christian Science Church on an observer basis at the National Council of Churches (NCC) and is serving on the Interfaith Relations Commission of the NCC.

Maryl has given many classroom talks on Christian Science and encourages you to visit christianscience.com/lectures/classroom-lectures/ for brief video clips of professors, students, and sponsoring churches who commend classroom lectures. She is also willing to include with the lecture a workshop for church members on finding ways to connect with their communities and share the love.

“Your presentation [to my social workers class] was inspiring and informative. Know that your time with us has dramatic implications upon many lives. These social workers will be interacting with hundreds of families in the future and your words and testimony will stay with them ….”

Dr. Gary Behrman, associate dean of the graduate school at St. Louis University
