1. Fred from SoCal says:

Thanks, Marta. Right on. We must be alert to to change that message so often in our face. Loved your lecture in Irvine.

2. rona and pierre says:

thank you for the beautiful understanding of the radiant truths

3. Neil Walker says:

Thanks for the uplift Marta, Im going to try an rewrite a headline today.

4. Judi says:

What a great way to start the day, even before we see the headlines. To know that all mankind is in the circle of our Father-Mother’s tender love and care. Thank you for this “lift” to a higher view of the day!

5. Ben Vaughan says:

That’s an important, bold message. Thank you.

6. Annette from Berlin says:

Thank you so very much for this uplifting lift. I will rewrite today the headlines through LOVE. Since the Bible reminds me that Christ is the “true head”, I like to remember that everything is flowing from the purity of the Christ, Truth. No one is left out. So grateful for the caring daily lifts. Life feels uplifted, more like an escalator than a long series of steps. :-)

7. Joe Beckwith/Genoa, NV says:

I love it. “why stand aghast at nothingness” was a quote often used by my teacher to get me to see the real. That pick-pocket sign was an illusory lie. And you saw it as such and reversed it. What a great lesson for us all. Thank you.

8. di-vanc says:

I love the thought of rewriting the headlines…rewriting out from infinite Love…
leaving all in God’s home, indestructible and safe! What a healing message to snuggle in with tonight as we pray for the world…(or wake up to in the morning)…Thank you, Marta Greenwood for this inspired and inspiring sharing.

9. Carra Riley Williams, AZ says:

What a wonderful way to correct thought. I write a question for the day based on the wonderful “uplifts” on my facebook wall and watch the good unfold.

10. jerome says:

Thank you so much!!! Very helpful indeed!!

11. Liz says:

Thank you Marta, what a wise way to respond to the headlines and move into
the day.

12. Anne d’Ambra says:

Bonjour,

Thank you so much for this great idea of “re writting the headlines”. It’s so important to pray for the world even if we think our voice is so small.
My C.S. B Teacher Violet Ruden, told us a little story that I love and cherish;” A little boy was leaving in a village where every day the king passes through and all the village people would say” God save the King”. One day, the little boy said to himself : “I am not going to say God save the King for my voice is so little, no one can hear it anyway. So, as the king was passing through, the little boy said nothing and suprisingly to him, there was a heavy silent, not a word. What had happened that day, not only the little boy had decided that his voice was so small and that it wouldn’t change anything for no one could hear him, but every one of the village had decided to do the same thing and NOTHING HAPPENED. Which means that even if we think we have “a small voice” when we pray, it has an effect. Every pray includes it’s demonstration.

13. Birgid says:

I like the idea of re-writing headlines – thanks.

14. Jackson Kuteesa says:

Thanks so much M.G for the msg.
Its so comforting to think of God as devine Love that opperates here and now, for we heve our beeing in Him no matter where we are. thanks so much again.

15. Romee Hindle says:

Wow, so special, rewriting the headlines. Such a good idea. I love it. To think of a good anti dose and find the perfect head line in its stead needs some thought and that is soooo good. God’s love is everywhere and help is there for all. Let no false image linger in thought, but find the right thought. Thank you so much and for all the precious uplifts that come each day. It is special.

16. Judy Gordon says:

Thanks Marta,,, that was great,,!!!

17. philippa says:

What a great idea to re write the news headlines – thank you Marta!

POWER OF SPIRITUAL DYNAMICS IN OPERATION !

This divine all powerful lifting gear, divine Love , is an ever present power to each one’s individual needs, no one is without their spritual lifting gear!

18. Susan says:

That was a great lift! I’m rewriting a headline about postal strikes here in the UK instead of delays and disappointment I’m changing it to Love always delivers every communication – and there are never any delays in His care. Thanks!

19. Miki of New Zealand says:

Thank you for this “denial of the claims of matter”, Marta, it helps me to keep the focus and to see those of my extended family members who were killed in the tsunami in Samoa, in their true light – as ALWAYS in the circle of God’s love – none was lost or ever outside of His knowing, and infinitely cared for, protected and one with Her, our Mother ever near! Thank you to all involved in bringing these “daily lifts” to us – thank you for rewriting the daily headlines for me and for all in the Phillipines and Indonesia and Samoa today! Bless you, Marta, for this blessing on all my loved ones, and indeed for everyone in our world at this time! Thank you all sincerely from my heart!

20. Joan Wattam says:

Thank you, dear Marta, for re-writing the headlines for today – for it is always God’s Day – and the children of God are rejoicing. It is a Glorious Day! – For all Good is here!!

21. Anne M says:

Thank you Marta. This is our job isn’t it, to replace error with Truth, Love or as you so beautifully put it – to rewrite the headlines.

With love

22. Bhuvan Singla says:

Winsome!

23. kyn says:

Right on!! BUT, we must be alert to rewrite all the small suggestions too! They also can slip past the “porter.” Fortunately, God, through Christian Science, has given us all the power and diligence we need to do these vital tasks.

24. Phil says:

This is such an important topic from a Christian Science point of view. Your ideas tied in very well with my thoughts after having watched a particularly disturbing documentary two nights ago. I went to sleep with the thought ‘do I really have to believe this was true (in the sense of God’s allness)’. To rewrite the headlines from a spiritual perspective can do much to help the world, even in a retrospective sense as it releases the sense of victimisation and destruction of any kind.

25. Kathy says:

When we read the Lesson Sermon from the Bible and Science and Health we can say THIS is the news for today and every day. Thanks Marta.

26. Ann K London UK says:

Thanks Marta I’m going to be alert today to rewrite the headlines that try to make evil real. God is the only power and He holds us all in His loving arms- a big hug for all His chikdren! Thanks for reminding us of God’s infinite, impartial Love

27. Jean-Claude from Vendôme / France says:

Many thanks for this so beautiful message delivered to the world to-day.
It reminds us that seeing like God sees His absolutely good, spiritual, perfect, loved creation, that is what rewrites the headlines and destroys the false suggestions.
So grateful for your tender and full of love prayer addressed to our loved brothers and sisters overseas.
warmly

28. Lisa says:

Thank you so much, Marta for this origional idea of re writing the headlines. We all would be blessed if we did this frequently. not only headlines but so much that is displayed to us by the media!

I am so grateful for Mrs. Eddy’s comforting words in Science and Health (p.559) “The “still, small voice” of scientific thought reaches over continent and ocean to the globe’s remotest bound”.

29. Cynthia says:

What a great way to look at the news. Sometimes it seems so overwhelming that it is tempting not to even watch or read what seems to be happening in the mortal scene around the world. I love the idea that we can quickly rewrite the headlines before dismay or fear has any chance to take hold in our thought and allow only the true picture in our consciousness. What a loving and powerful way to pray and help those who seem embroiled in that mortal picture, whatever it may be. I will definitely be rewriting some headlines today, thank you so much Marta!

30. Fotios from Ohio says:

Beautiful ! !

31. Margaret says:

How wonderful, Marta! And lately I’ve been doing some ‘expunging’ and
re-writing of the headlines of my own life. A really great and spiritual account all the way!
And love to you too -
to every one of us!

32. Malcolm Drummond, Henrietta NY says:

Thank you Marta. I can apply that same thought “Divine Principle Love operates here” to Christian Science Students’ Associations..

33. Marilyn from Canada says:

Thank you for your inspiring and strengthening message. With love.

34. Meg Dendler says:

You Rock, Marta! What a wonderful way to start the morning! :)

35. Patricia Says says:

Thank you Marta for that loving and powerful healing “lift” for today. “Divine Love is infinite….” (S&H)

36. jasmine says:

oh, such a beautiful message! thank you so very much Marta!

37. Stephen Pierce says:

Thank you for your prayer Martha. The whole of Love descends, saves, protects, and envelopes the entire world.

38. Mary H says:

This is the day the Lord hath made and it is Life -Trurh – Love. We can rejoice in that.

39. Judy says:

Amen Marta!!

40. dil says:

This filled me with Love’s presence, Martha, as I’m sure it did others. I feel your love and conviction.

41. June Mary says:

Thanks, Marta, for enabling us with the right thoughts which honor God, love ourselves and our neighbor in truth. Lovely, lovely, images–all-harmoniousness in action! “Let there be light, and there was light.” No space-time concepts, just pure Love in the here and now. Blessings to all!

42. Joan says:

God’s love is ever at work, and “Alertness To Duty” spurs us on to change those “headlines”. Love, love

43. Malissa says:

Thanks, Marta, for these wonderful ideas. I have been praying with what Mrs. Eddy says on page 207 in S&H….”Evil is not supreme; good is not helpless;” I like to affirm this a little more by praying…Good is supreme and evil is helpless/nothing. This passage has helped me to see that no matter what the mortal picture looks like, God is the first and final Word on all and this is such a comfort. Whatever help we can give humanly will be revealed too…….
Thanks again

44. Marta Greenwood says:

WOW – what headline writers you all are! Love what you said Anne d’Ambra # 12 so true. LOVE the story. Thank you for sharing it.
Kathy# 25, from now on I will add what you said: “THIS is the news for today and every day. “ great :)
What a lot of shakers and movers for the world you all are. Use the walls of this site and write your healing headlines for the world. We are all watching you news headlines through God’s eyes.
I would like to write a headline here thanking Nathan Frederick, the Media Producer, for his cheery: He-Hey headline every morning. I tell you I can’t wait to run downstairs every morning and listen to my Daily Lift, first his cheery message and then the lovely, lovely lecturers insights. They are all sooooooooo awesome. My deep gratitude for this Board of Lectureship and what they bring to the world. And thank you all who support it with your comments and insights. We all read them.

45. Melissa says:

You call these Daily Lifts, but I call them Daily Lift-Offs! Everyday listening to them sends my rocketship of thought up high into spirituality and Truth where nothing can bring it down.

46. Marilyn from Maine says:

Thank you for this powerful thought, spoken in such a loving way. We in western Maine remember your wonderful lectures in Auburn. I was recently looking over some notes I made then on the back of an envelope! I appreciate your loving world-view of life.

47. anne says:

,As we let God give us the headline, the God view, not the world view,we see what to expunge from the record of the day.,

48. Jayne Sawyer says:

Your message has such a feeling of divine presence…seeing ourselves and the world through the eyes of Love! Thank you for sharing this today.

49. Paulette says:

Good morning Marta, and thank you not only for the wonderful, constructive idea, but for the love that I felt coming to me so quickly and, at the same time, to hundreds of others who will receive it. Let’s face it it would take days to call everyone with your wonderful message and I am sure you could not take the time to do so.

50. Chrissie Brown says:

Hi Marta!! Thanks so much for your uplifting message of Love – rewriting headlines and that noone is lost or missed in the circle of Love.

I also like reading the writings by others and I am saying coucou to my good friend Anne d’Ambra – j’aime ta petite histoire :) , and Annette, thanks for sharing that “life feels uplifted more like an escalator than a long series of steps.” This is a cool analogy :)

Hugs, Chrissie

51. Gary in Nanaimo says:

Thanks Marta!! What a clear vision you have of the Christ reaching across the ocean “to the earth’s remotest bound” to bring healing and comfort to every specific need. We can all rewrite the headlines.

52. Aileen says:

Thank you for reminding me of what you said in our lecture-prep phone call the other night in Modesto, CA! I wrote out some of the notes I took: What is the proof of Church’s utility? Healing! What needs to be healed in our community? We responded with lots of issues such as the statistics that Modesto is the car theft capital of the world, the biggest meth-producing area in the US, and has high jobless, crime, and homeless rates. Marta told us to rewrite the headlines about all of these problems, starting with the Truth–what God knows. We need to treat our own view, our own thoughts, our own consciousness, and raise our thoughts to God, who heals. Read the local paper and reverse the headlines. Replace reports of recession with the truth of abundant Life. Know that man is honest because he’s the reflection of Truth, and doesn’t need to steal because God provides all good. Violent crime is the counterfeit of harmony which is the expression of Soul, Love. Gangs don’t provide a sense of belonging or appreciation—our Father, God provides all of our needs. Start with the absolute truth about God and then we can delete matter-based problems. Heal the public! Don’t stop reading the paper until you find confirmation of your treatment in it—some good story about a positive result of your prayers.

53. Marsha says:

I love this message, and responded so strongly to the conviction in your voice, Marta. I love this “Daily Lift” series… I save some of them and listen to them when there is a specific message that would help me. Thanks to all the lecturers, and to God, who must have inspired this daily
feature!

54. Jodi says:

Thank You all for your comments on rewriting the headlines..each one is a blessing of gratitude…and very uplifting. Thank You Marta for your message today..I will continue to rewrite the headlines.

55. Christine says:

WOW! What a wonderful thought. Thank you for this new, inspiring way to pray for the world.

56. Phyllis says:

Thank you Marta for such a powerful and important directive…”Rewrite the Headlines”! I just love the Daily Lift series.

57. JP Tempe, AZ says:

Hi there, Marta! How lovely to hear your dear voice and beautiful thoughts again this morning. All those who hear these wondeful thoughts and are rewriting the headlines are blessing the world. Much, much Love and thanks for all you do.

58. Susan – Vancouver WA says:

Thou shalt not bear false witness can help us as we rewrite headlines – not just in the news, but the “headlines and labels” mortal mind accepts about children. I work in a school and today I will rewrite the labels which limit the abilities of my students. Thank you for such a good thought today, Marta, and to all of you whose comments we all benefit from. :)

59. Nena says:

As I listen to your prayer, I cried with joy. I have been trying to rewrite it too. I knew God has embraced all his ideas, nobody is left out. All His ideas are wrapped in ,in His wings of love. Thank so much Marta for this inspiration that lifted me more. I love how you always say reverse the statements that does not coincides with God. Pray for them. I never forget it. It is a healing.

60. Nancy in IN says:

When I start my day with the lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly I get real sustenance for the day, my meat and potatoes so to speak. Then later when I hear the daily lift it’s like a cherry on top of my dessert, so good and so enjoyable. Whee. Thanks for the sweet tidbit.

61. Lori Marquart, California says:

What a delightful start to my day hearing your voice. I listened twice and it was soooo inspiring! I just love the idea of rewriting the headlines into a spiritual perspective of whatever may be going on.
I also liked the idea “Divine Principle operates here.” I can put that into practice today. I have also been praying with the thought that “God is everywhere and nothing apart from Him is present or has power.” Also, “In Christian Science you can have no power apart from God, and the physical senses must give up their false testimony.” And, “All inharmony of mortal mind or body is an illusion, a mirage, a lie, the false testimony of the material senses, nameless and powerless.” These apply to many varied situations.
I have been praying about the disasters and wars and you have provided many additional helpful ideas I can include in these prayers. Thanks so much!
With much love and gratitude,
Lori

62. Carolyn in California says:

Our mutual friend, Hafiz, the Sufi poet, would surely be smiling and nodding at your beautiful message. Thank you, Marta.

63. Lea says:

Much gratitude! I will never see a headline in the same way. This approach shows that treatments for social and world challenges can be very short and on-the-go but nonetheless very powerful.

64. Kaye says:

Thank you very much!

65. Ann says:

Love it- rewrite the headlines and everything else we hear that is not from God in the news and onTV . Stay lifted up!

66. rrh says:

Jolly good, Marta; have a good day/evening over there in London

67. Ellie Thompson in Bonita Springs FL says:

We were so blessed to have you lecture in our area-our CS Society is growing-this headline writing idea is graphic and practical we can do it tout le temps – all the time! merci Marta

68. Susan says:

I’m reminded of the words in Hymn 363: “. . . . lamp of day Pours out its floods of light and joy, And sweeps the lingering mist away.” Everyone’s beautiful prayers for the world are lit by the lamp of Truth and Love.

69. Jeanne Robbins says:

Thank you so much for sharing this permeating Love, and being such a wonderful transparency. Such a clear and concise way for us to help.

70. CW of Dana Point says:

Beautiful. God’s circle of Love includes us all. He is not out there but right here filling every inch of protective care.

71. ela says:

Thanks, Marta. This angel thought of re-writing headlines came to me many years ago. One Mind, indeed!

72. Charles Gray says:

Dear Marta, the lectures you did this year were fabulous, and the speach about re-writing the headlines from bad to good is brilliant. I saw some graffiti on the wall today, and it said “bad place”. I thought the opposite and said “heavenly place”. Thanks, hugs and kisses and cheers, Charles xx

73. Cassie in California says:

What a marvelous example of publishing God’s Word! Church healing activity in proof of the efficacy of the partnership of Christ’s Church and the Christian Science Publishing Society. Where two or three are gathered together in my name (Christ, Truth tells us) there am I (Principle and the manifestation of divine Life, Truth and Love) in the midst of you.

I love your concrete example; it helps us take hold of this spiritual idea and move forward with it. It immediately made me think of Mrs. Eddy’s comments on how to rectify mistakes in Unity of Good, pg 20. Thank you Marta for embracing and seeing that we all are uplifted in Love to see as divine Love sees–reflecting that spiritual view that knows there isn’t anything “outside (infinite Love’s) own focal distance.” What a joy to be seeing Love’s publishing activity at work. Blessings for all!

74. Yvonne says:

What an uplifting, practical and healing idea – thank you.

75. Barbara- Tempe AZ says:

Good on you, Dear Marta. I am Thinking of the Christian Science hymn # 324, the words, “take my mouth and let it be filled with messages from Thee”. Need to re-write all the headlines of all human activity, even in our homes, neighborhoods, and for friend and family dramas!

76. Himanshu Dhand from Chandigarh, India says:

I liked the wonderful message of rewriting the headlines through God’s infinite Love.Divine Principle-Love operates here &we are always safe in God’ kingdom. In morning whenever we open newspaper, we get disturbed by different kinds of news & that fear, anxiety or disappointments get settled in our consciousness. so we should be in habit of rewriting the headlines through God’s infinite Love because God is source of only good & evil is nothing in god’s kingdom. All power belongs to God. No one is lost or left out of His care So I will try to rewrite the headlines.

77. Marta Greenwood says:

Ellie 62- so happy your scoeity is growing, when thoughts expands to see more of the Love, growth is the side effect of it :)
Carolyn #62- So here is a follower of Hafiz (Sufi poet : 1315-1390) ! We Iranians love his poetry. One of Hafiz’s poem is relevant to today’s prayer we are all doing for the world:. I translated it as I have so many of his poems memorised.
It goes roughly like this:

I don’t make promises,
I tell you this,
pray
Then watch somewhere in the world
Something good happens.

That is what is touching about Christian Science is the infinite Love its followers express. Mary Baker Eddy said of Love in relation to Christian Science in her book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: “ The vital part, the heart and soul of Christian Science, is Love.”

78. Kreutziger, Hamburg says:

Thank you, dear Marta, for this uplifting thoughts. During hearing your voice I had in my mind two ideas: “His arm encircles me, an mine, and all” Mother’s evening prayer by ary aker Eddy. The other one is a picture in a newspaper from a whole rainbow as a circle from a foto during a flight. I thought, that all people are encircled in this rainbow of the promise of God’s Love for all of us. With love from Dorette

79. Lisa in Alaska says:

What a practical tool!!! Thanks for your awesomingly inspiring knowledge of Truth.

80. bill says:

expressed so lovingly….. thank you….

81. Elena desde California says:

Thank you so much Martha, what a wise words! My CS teacher used to say that we should listen to the news only to reverse the wrong, and he always added that error was, “Nothing, talking to nothing, so give it no answer.” All the power belongs to God, and he/she is only good.

82. Elena desde California says:

I also love the explanation Mrs. Eddy gives that we don’t have authority to call God male of female, after all, Love is universal.

También me encanta la explicación que da la Sra. Eddy cuando dice que no tenemos autoridad para llamar a Dios masculino o femenino, después de todo el Amor es universal.

83. Katie in Ohio says:

Marta, it’s the love in your voice that’s even more uplifting to me than the message itself. Love is … so lovely! And truly the only headline.

84. Bill, Los Angeles says:

Marta:

Thank you for the inspirational thought for today. Rewriting the headlines is a fresh new thought which can reverse the headline grasping attempts to sell newspapers. Thank you again for the inspirational lecture you gave in Los Angeles. It was a highlight for our church.

85. Jan McK says:

Oh to have been on your street to feel your love. Love is bigger than any “it”.

86. Carol Christensen says:

Thanks Marta. What a fresh thought:
” Rewrite the headlines.” A mind expanding concept for myself to focus on Good, God, and concentrate on peace and healing.
Several years ago I was having difficulties with world and personal stress. A friend told me to change the radio channel in my head and switch to another station, K-CALM. Also, let’s switch the headlines that advertise disease. Instead of listening to the most popular, “best-selling” illnesses, I tune into the television station in my mind to my own different channel, K-GIA, Know God is All. Switch to the REAL channels and headlines of TRUTH, LIFE, and LOVE.
Know God is Love. Thank-you again so much.

87. Arnold Seymour-Gray says:

What a joyous reminder to be the Salt of the earth, Matthew 5:13, How light is his yoke.

88. Ron in CA says:

I agree with Yvonne (#74) that Marta’s idea is uplifting, practical and healing. Thanks so much for sharing it with all of us. Also, thanks to Marta for revealing Nathan’s name (#44) so we know who to thank for those warm, energetic welcome messages five times a week.

89. Anonymous says:

Ann from New Zealand

One of the headlines here concerns a two year old girl who has gone missing, now presumed kidnapped. I have been praying with Hymn #66 O perfect Life, in Thy completeness held, None can beyond Thy omnipresence stray; I am so grateful, Marta, for your uplifting, healing message today and can now write a different headline “Not one is lost or missed in His care”. Thanks too to all for the helpful comments.

90. Patty says:

When I listen to anything disturbing on TV be it a commercial or something violent I press the mute button or go to another channel. Today’s message has given me another tool . I shall start writing a God directed and focused headline in addition . Thank you one and all.

91. Richard Horner says:

Dear, dear Marta,

You bring the perfect combination of international experience and love for your fellow man to the heart of the world’s crisis! This is a good reminder to “enlarge the border of thy tents.” Seeing WORLD opportunities for healing through God’s eyes is vital to Christian practice and your thought of writing our “treatment” as God sees His children is so helpful in our outreach.
With loving greetings from Dick & Eric Horner, Winter Park, Florida

92. Candy from Riverside, CA says:

Thank you so much, Marta. Your voice is so soft and sweet and really brought across the love of Love that is caring for ALL of us!!!

93. Della&Ernie says:

Thankyou Martha. What a wonderful way to handle error and establish “a church universal and triumphant”

94. Marta Greenwood says:

Miki # 19 I know all your relatives are safe. The prayers everybody did today and the things each one posted will be the circle of divine Love expressed around all His loved children.
Melissa # 45 I agree with you. Each day I think they are Daily Lift-offs too. I get a blast into the universe of Spirit from each one I listen to every morning. They are all awesome.
Ann # 89 Thank you for your healing headline. You can be sure this community here will embrace your headline with Love also. All God’s children are safe in God’s circle of Love- and that means ALL of His children- none stray outside of its borders as it encloses round all- and we know this for you all in New Zealand also.

It has been such a JOY to read all your comments today and every day, they are soooo inspiring.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for having shared such lovely inspirations. I look forward to tomorrow’s Daily Lift-“offs” and reading tomorrow’s new inspirations.

95. Grace from Texas says:

Thanks so much. I did feel God’s wonderful love as I listened to your “headline” message. Yes, it is imperative that we do rewrite the wrong headline with the Truth about God, creation, and man — Thanks for living the spirit of that powerful message of Love, which is something we all must do!

96. Linda, Connecticut says:

After hearing this, I’ll never be able to look at headlines in the same way! Loved your lecture on this site that we can listen to. Sent it to my brother who is going through tough times with job loss. Would be great to have more video lectures available for those who work at night or on weekends
or who travel and can’t always make it to lectures. It would be great to have one by every lecturer available online eventually.

97. Heidi says:

sometimes I get to the Daily Lift at the end of the Day. So I guess one could also think of it as a Nightly Lift. ha! Either way, I am always lifted and carried in Love by the Lifts. Thank you for sharing your love of God with the world.

98. Nancy in Southern Oregon says:

“Generous rainstorm moisturizes Midwest. Prepare for ample harvest!”
“Floodtides of divine Love comfort families & provide hope & strength”
“New concepts of home arise as thought is uplifted by prayers of neighbors”
“Fear is washed away by Truth, the truth of the goodness of God”
“All children, everywhere, rest peacefully in the safety of Love’s arms”
“The promise of the rainbow is being kept right now”

99. Kelsey P- Santa Monica says:

Thank you so much Marta! I could literally feel the love in your message- embracing everyone of us- throughout the world! Thank you for
reminding us how instant we can be in reversing and rewriting oppressive headlines. The Christ consciousness really can alter the false picture and change the entire scene for our brothers and sisters.
Thank you !! So much love to you!

100. Sushil Likhi says:

Thank you Marta for sharing your inspiration to rewrite the news headlines. It has touched the heart and soul of each one of us.

101. Louise Ismail says:

Thank you Marta,
I am going to rewrite every single headline I see today,
Have a sparkling day!

102. Leah says:

This is such a beautiful and comforting thought! As I pray for the world and for myself and my family, I will hold on to this truth of God’s infinite Love as it cradles us in safety and comfort. Thank you!

103. Erv says:

Thank you Marta. Yesterday the computer refused to “gift” your voice message. However, I was able to read your audience’s comments to the expected lift. But today (10/09), another way on the PC opened for me to hear your rewritten headline. Love is the liberator! Love is the only headline by which we all can live.

104. Cici from L.A. says:

Marta, I love hearing your sweet and gentle voice. And your message
yesterday was truly inspiring to me. This just reinforces my understanding that we need to protect ourselves daily from any sort of headlines.
To constantly know that our Father-Mother God is in charge of everything that we’re experiencing in this universe. After all, “He saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good.”

(sorry, I’m a day late)

105. Judith from RI says:

Thank you Marta. Your message reminded me of a friend telling me, years ago, that sometimes at work he had to stop all the mental termoil of what was going on at work and do some ’station identification’…..(Station identification being a pause in national radio broadcast ( like Saturday at the Met or a baseball game) so the local radio station call letters could be broadcast .).. when he would declare that he was the expression of Mind right where he was, no matter what issues were swirling around the office. So there are lots of ways that we need to stand porter at the door of thought and see the Truth of what we are seeing or hearing. Thank you again. J

106. joyce gwyneth says:

Dear Marta
I’m a day late too. What a wonderful message so lovingly given – as always. Thank you. Thanks too to the BoL for these Daily Lifts and their happy introducer. Much Love.

(Fri eve/next day) See #98 “Generous rainstorm.” We did have a big rain last night on the farm where I’m visiting, and the creek did flood, but it did not prevent the needed daily activities, including an outgoing shipment. Workers & family were cheerful. I’m grateful.

108. Oma says:

Thy a lot! I’m having a great day!

109. Jean Burgdorff from Florida says:

All of us who heard you lecture were touched and brought closer again! We should put in a word of thanks for The Christian Science Monitor, don’t you think? Their headlines tend to be more uplifting, as they try to find the good in situations, or point us to solutions. Another one of our Leaders’ gifts to us!!

110. Sally L. from San Diego says:

Many thanks, Marta.
I had a wonderful insight and proof of prayer yesterday. I was on our little
“Coaster” train down to work in the Joint San Diego Reading Room and had just been studing the My Bible Lesson printout. The word definitions at the bottom of the first page section of our CS Lesson for this week had a really great insight into the Bible quote, ” I have called you by thy name”. It was “I have given you a clear place” ! The thought came instantly, “Why even if this train hit a car on the tracks, there would still be a clear place where all would be safe”! It was a wonderful assurance to me as we went on that all of us are safe in God’s dear love. It was about 10 minutes later when the train slowed down to a crawl. we were going along the cross streets that are close to the final train stop at the station. I was on the window and look down to see a small car that had been bumped off to the side of the train on the next track over. Since I felt no impact, I thought that it had happened before we got there. Then the conductor walked by slowly and calmly. It was about 5 minutes and a voice came on to say that we had had a minor accident and would be going on shortly. The whole thing took about 40 minutes. Everyone on the train said we’d be there for hours and they wouldn’t let us off till all was investigated! Instead, the conductor gave us a cheerie, “Sorry for the delay and have a great day”. WOW was there a great rejoicing in my heart for the evidence of God’s Clear Place in our Heaven bestowed consciousness. Looking forward to tomorrow night, Marta.

111. Sally L. from San Diego says:

right after I left my computer, I heard the words from Science and Health, “nothing is lost, and all is won by a right estimate of what is real”. When I write my headlines for today, I will start estimating the outcome of these ideas from the “real and eternal Ideals” that come from Truth. I can’t mistake the situation if it comes from those. Bless you all who help the world with your thoughts and love for mankind.

112. Marta Greenwood says:
