Thank you Heloisa – I love the idea of “God will catch you in His arms – nobody has fallen outside of God’s loving embrace”. He really really loves us!

5. Des says:

Hymn 53 comes to mind: “Everlasting arms of Love, are beneath around above; … lovely!

6. fujiko says:

Thank You for this uplifting angel message for today.

14. Susan says:

Yes. Experienced a healing of severe headaches when I listened to an intuition to look up the meaning of the word sinus — which led me to the word vacuum. At the time my job was very challenging, and I mistakenly believed there are places where God isn’t present to heal the situation — that there are vacuums, black holes, caves, and conclaves where God, divine Mind and Truth and Love is absent. When my discipline in Christian Science revealed how absurd this is, I replaced this false notion of God’s absence, with the Truth that God is infinite, as you so beautifully affirm. God is in every nook and cranny of creation, right here on earth, and throughout the entire universe — and nothing can hide from the presence of God, good. Here is another reason why the story of Adam and Eve is pure myth. How could any creation of God believe for even a moment, that they can hide — or be separated — from their Creator, ever-present, harmonious Life?

15. Himanshu Dhand From Chandigarh, India Says says:

Thanks for reminding about God’s loving embrace. God is omnipotent & omnipresent So nobody can be outside God’s control. We are all goverened by Him.Thank you again for this lovely message.

16. Anne says:

How lovely to realize that we are constantly in our Father-Mother God’s care, even if we are geographically separated from our parents or children. Thank you so much.

17. Dean, OH says:

Thank You !

18. diane says:

I would send this message to every child, parent, friend on the planet today. Maybe God already has.
gratefully,
d.

19. Stephen Pierce says:

Thank you for making me aware that the embracing arms of Divine Love floods my consciousness all day long. Today is a beautiful day!

Muchas gracia por haberme saber que los abrazos del Amor Divino corren en mi conciencia todo el dia. El dia de hoy is hermoso!

20. Sharon says:

The idea of “God’s loving embrace” is all we need for the day. Thanks!

21. Enrique says:

¡Qué pensamientos tán reconfortantes! Me trae a la memoria estas palabras en Deuteronomio: “El eterno Dios es tu refugio, y acá abajo los brazos eternos”. Muchas gracias por estas inspiradas palabras.

22. Mary says:

Thank you for this inspiring and timely message. I hadn’t noticed the date before opening today’s “Lift.” What a relevant corrective to world thought today. There can be no tyranny of the calendar to impose on the individual. As hymn 66 puts it, “none can beyond Thy omnipresence stray”—for any reason, ever.
I enjoyed listening to the “Pensamiento Alentador” message in Spanish, also. The very fact that we have the Spanish messages is itself an uplifting reminder of the universality of Truth, and the all-inclusiveness of infinite Love.

23. Sharon Carper says:

Heloisa: Thanks for that comforting message for our 9/11 day…Never falling out of God’s care was brought home to me recently when I took a bad fall on the sidewalks of D.C. But the arms of Love were around me and strangers came to my assistance immediately, even a van driver stopping his vehicle in the middle of the street to help me. I felt so bouyed by the expressions of Love that I went on my way rejoicing, without a visible sign of any “trip up” and wrapped in gratitude for the expressions of God’s angels always caring for us…

24. Linda Snorek says:

Thank you for your thoughts. Like a little child trusts a caring father or mother’s embrace of love and good will, God’s everpresent Love and grace is there for all at all times, in all circumstances.

25. Lily says:

This message is particularly significant to me. I have been continuing to feel ill for sometime and have been quite discouraged. Yesterday after praying, it came to me to imagine myself in God’s arms. Thank you for this perfect message for all circumstances.

26. Sandra C of GA says:

Thank you so much. When I was a baby my mother would sing the Rock a bye Baby song this way; rock a bye baby onthe tree top, when the wind blows the cradle will rock, when the bow bends the cradle won’t fall, cause God guards the cradle baby and all. What a wonderful reminder you gave me that I and everyone else are always in God;s arms. The presence of my Father Mother God is the greatest gift, and on this day of rememberance so comforting. Thank yoy, and how lovely to have it in two languages.

27. California Sue says:

How pure, this divine Science of infinite Love….reaching all the way into the so-called realm of it supposed opposite: into the errors of false belief and, when applied, corrects each and every one of them. The human eye may see what it believes, but it sees only its beliefs! We thought we saw men falling from the tower, but we saw only the CLAIM that man CAN fall. Each one of the people who seemed to fall continue to be where they always were: safe in God’s loving embrace!

Let’s keep honoring this amazing and wonderful Truth, and some day, (why not today?!) this is ALL we can see.

28. Joan says:

I love the “assignment” to acknowledge and hold in thought the fact that everyone is held in His tender embrace. Many, many thanks!

29. ela says:

Thank you for the reminder of the constancy of divine Love’s tender, watchful care. This familiar message never gets old for those of us who have heard it many times, and what a precious gift it can be for one who is hearing it for the first time. I still remember the first time I heard it and was embraced by its warmth.

30. Beverly says:

Thanks for a wonderful daily lift! I was reminded of a a motorcycle trip to
Mount Washington where hymn #53 was constant in my thought.
“Everlasting arms of love are beneath, around, above”… A car stopped on the steepest part of the mountain and our 800 pound bike fell sideways. My husband was still on the bike and couldn’t lif it with his right leg. I immediately knew that hymn #53 was in my thought for a reason. I managed to get off the bike and with God’s loving arms uprighted the bike. Both lanes of traffic had stopped to watch and I was happy so many had witnessed God’s love in action.

31. Janice says:

As I noticed today’s date on this page and was waiting for the message to play, I prayed to know that every inch of the world is filled with God’s love. And then your wonderful message mentions how there is not a single “inch” of the universe where God is not present. Thank you for the perfect message for today!!

32. Marilyn says:

The folk song “He’s (God’s) got the whole world in his hands” has comforted me many times when thinking about human troubles. Yes, no one can fall out of God’s, Love’s embrace and care. All are in Her tender care now and always.

33. Peter Anderson says:

Gracias por los pensamientos especificamente en este dia de memoria de 9/11. Dios nos abraza todos los momentos y no nos deja o dejara caer nunca jamas.

34. Susan – Vancouver WA says:

Today’s daily thought prompted me to affirm that God is uplifted thought and everywhere, filling all space. What a perfect segue to your message today. Thank you.

35. Barbara Ann says:

Thank you Heloisa! What a comforting message for this 9/11 anniversary. It has given me something to think about other than the memory of that sad day 9 years ago. Instead of feeling sad and weepy each year, I will be thinking on your message of God’s love and outstretched arms!

36. Marjorie V.,Hamilton,Ont.CA says:

This is such a comforting and inspiring message.
I have been holding a special friend in prayerful thought who has not been able to live his regular normal life for some months now… and so just knowing that he is in the arms of Divine Love (no matter what appears to be happening) is such a powerful and sacred idea, I know it can only bless him and his family.
Thank you so very much for every message!

37. Paul Marthaler says:

Thank you Heloisa and also Sandra in Georgia for wonderful thoughts. In sunday school we learned that “God is everywhere” and I have never forgotten this. It’s also important to realize that God is here, now, regardless of the material circumstances we seem to be in or the dire claims of animal magnetism—which, being lies, are unreal, therefore not present.

38. Poonam Likhi says:

Thank you Heloisa for embracing everyone in your lovely message. I am sure it will reach all those remembering their loved ones on this day.

Poonam Likhi,
Chandigarh, India

39. nancy says:

Thank you for such an inspirational message. It is very hard not to be sad when thinking of 9/11. Thinking of everyone being in God’s everlasting arms is very helpful.

40. Dennis Dooley says:

I am safe in God’s Arms; I am safe in God’s Pocket; I am safe in God’s Loving Embrace. How comforting.

Dennis of Beautiful San Diego, California

41. Davidson says:

For such a lovely message.

42. Cristina from Pa. says:

Such a wonderful way to handle every situation, everywhere.
It is so comforting to realize that we are always in the infinite, presence of God.
This love is reassurance, peace, trust and as Heloisa shared with us this morning is everywhere.
Thank you for bringing sunshine to my heart this morning!!!!

43. Dianne says:

Thank you, what a wonderful thought!

44. Joan Miller says:

My granddaughter tells me that if you fall through God’s arms you end up in his lap.

45. Dave Christensen says:

Thanks Heloisa!

“There’s not a single inch in the universe where God is not present”.

These Daily LIfts do very much to get my days started right!

I feel the love.

Thanks!

46. Elba Mata says:

Es un mensaje inspirador, gracias por compartirlo

47. Margaret says:

Perfect! A beautiful picture from God to hold on to.

48. Bonnie K says:

Thank you greatly for your reminder of all our embrace from God. I don’t usually dream in human terms anymore, but I did this morning. The image was a group of people falling to earth, gently falling to earth. I know somewhere in this dream these folks had the embrace of God, as you spoke about.

49. Joy H from Canada says:

What a perfect message for today.
This is assurance that nobody can be dropped out of God’s loving arms.
Not a toddler who had a tumble — not the people in war zones — not
families. Thanks so much!

50. Joan says:

Thank you so much for this comforting truth.

51. Ann from Montana says:

I remember a meeting with other Christian Scientists where a lovely lady from India commented that you may think you have fallen out of God’s loving arms, but he will always catch you in his lap.

52. Charlene from St Ann MO says:

Thank you so much for the Daily Lifts. Today’s lift from Heloise is especially inspiring and I am so grateful for her reminder that there is not one inch of the universe where God is not present and that we can never fall out of His embrace. I also loved the comments from listeners, so many good ideas and sharing going on. Thanks BOL for uplifting my early mornings each day and thank you Heloise.

53. Sharon R. in Indiana says:

How moving and healing, dear Heloisa….as well as the wonderful sharing of comments….It’s like ‘breaking bread’ together.
” ….The joy that none can take away
is mine; I walk with Love today.”
(hymn 139)
So much gratitude to our dear BOL for this precious activity of Love; I truly feel like a “brother bird.”

54. June Mary says:

Thank you, Heloise, for those beautiful and healing words . I love how we are all encircled in God’s universal Love every moment. These Daily Lifts so perfectly demonstrate the unity of Mind and its ideas all moving in harmony with Divine Science. Thanks again for the unselfed Love of The Mother Church and the BOL for bringing this opportunity to demonstrate, “peace on earth and good will toward men.”

55. June says:

Heloisa, I loved your up-lift message, and also Sandras’s version of the babies’ cradle song. I always appreciate the comments of people around the world who are sharing these morning “Lifts”.

56. Bill, Los Angeles says:

Thank you Heloise for such a strong comforting thought. It is timely also.

57. Monica says:

58. Lee in Texas says:

It’s wonderful that all the people who receive these Daily Lifts are hearing and praying the same thought for the day (our prayer in unison), and expanding upon it. What power there is in that, power that can only benefit the world, including all those who haven’t received these lifts. Thank you, Mother Church, for implementing God’s idea to do this. It truly blesses everyone.

59. Gab says:

Que mensaje tan bonito y consolador para el dia de hoy, Gracias Heloisa!

62. Leah says:

Thank you for this beautiful truth, especially today on Sept 11th. This comforting reminder that we are always surrounded by God, always within His protection and in His loving arms, is a timely sentiment. Thank you!

63. Jana says:

How perfectly beautiful! Y tambien en espanol – me encanta! Muchisimas gracias.

64. Maralee from Sherman Oaks says:

Thank you Heloisa..I’m reminded of a time when my young son wanted to try something daring by swinging on a rope-swing on a hillside. We talked before he tried this about God loving him. It looked like such fun until he lost his grip and took a flight til he landed. As I witness of this experience I began singing those comforting words from our hymn “everlasting arms of love are beneath, around, above.” He never experienced any harm and told me he was singing the same hymn. What joy to know we can never be outside God’s loving arms. Thanks for this special LIFT on 9/11. Glory be to God every moment.

65. Di – Vanc. says:

Thank you! I have never left His loving embrace.

66. Gail M. Maui says:

This reminded me of all the things I taught my kids. God is up and down and all around..God is here and there and everywhere. God goes in and out and all about..now my grandkids are learning them. Thank you

67. stella mesquita says:

Heloisa, muito obrigada pela sua reconfortante mensagem sobre a onipresenca divina. Oro para reconhecer o direito de todos, sem excessao, de sentirem em suas vidas, aqui e agora, o conforto e a protecao dessa Presenca.

68. Karen says:

Thank you Heloisa, for lifting my thought today. I was being impressed by a recent incident where a young teenage boy that I know of committed suicide because he said he was discouraged by the state of the world today. When I told my sister about this she suggested I listen to the Daily Lift. It was just the right message to know that this dear young man can’t fall out of Love’s embrace even for a nano-second and this means that his life is continuing. It was also wonderful to realize that his whole family and circle of friends is being surrounded by this same, constant, omnipotent embrace of God’s Love. “In Thy Spirit living, moving we shall neither faint nor fall!” Hymn 58. This “shade of gloom” surrounding this particular date has been lifted for me as well as apparently so many of your other “listeners.” Thank you and all today’s contributors.

69. Neil Walker says:

Thanks for uplifting me.

70. Marilyn Orlandoni says:

I very much appreciate Helosia’s thoughts and the rewrite of the nursery song by Sandra. What a beautiful change of lyrics!

74. Edy says:

I can’t believe how appropriate this was for me this morning! My physical body did take a fall yesterday, but now I can know that we as spiritual ideas of God can never fall out of his embrace and love. I love these Daily Lifts so much!

75. Paula says:

Heloisa, thank you for this wonderful message and to all of you who have responded from your heart. Along with my thougts about 9/11 I have been praying for my dog who took a fall from quite a height this week. Many of the lines from hymns mentioned have kept me comforted and also hymn 134, I Look To Thee In Every Need, which says, “Thy hand in all things I behold, and all things in thy hand”. This “Daily Lift” has truly lifted me to higher ground.

76. jerome says:

Thanks for a lovely thought! I love to be in that circle of God’s Loving arm…open and wide…

77. Diane Ward of St. Petersburg, Florida…… says:

Thanks for letting all of us know, Heloisa, that we are surrounded by God…..and not one inch is void of His care and love. I really appreciate everyone’s sharing today…..especially those who had specific healings by using these ideas you’ve shared with us. I also appreciated Stephen’s English AND Spanish (#19) so we can all share in the thoughts each one contributes. Therefore, it was unfortunate that #21, 33, 46, 57, 59, 63 and 67 were ONLY in Spanish. That’s really sad for those of us that can’t read Spanish! I loved Sandra’s new version of “Rock a bye Baby…”! Thanks SO much Sandra! And, I loved the #44 child like thought…..how precious! Each day brings us such SPECIAL thoughts, ideas and comments that bring such job and gladness to our hearts……thanks to each member of the Board of Lectureship for their daily “sharing” with us all!

78. Juanita says:

I adore these 2 minutes lifts. And thank you, too, to the happy guy who introduces them ~ I love his greeting and intro!

Muchas gracias Eloísa por este mensaje tan inspirador. En estos momentos tengo un familiar muy enfermo y mi pensamiento contínuo hacia este familiar es que Dios lo está amando en todo momento. What a powerful reminder of God’s ever present protection–He will always catch us! Thank you.

100. Leland says:

Thank you Heloisa and Susan (#14). You both stated exactly what I needed to hear today.

101. Rosita says:

Just caught up with this daily lift and I loved the fact you brought out that “God will catch you in His arms.” What a wonderful, joyous sense of protection as we journey spiritually. I’ve had many opportunities to see God’s arms in action, and especially recently, when I was caring for someone who was spending alot of time in bed. One night when I went to check in on them, I found them on a heap of blankets and pillows, on the floor right next to the bed and they were perched right on top of the heap, completely safe! Now if that’s not proof of God’s ever-loving arms for all His kids, I don’t know what is! With love y gracias for this reminder.
