Online Sunday School

For remote "sincere seekers of Truth"

Online laptop

All young people should have the opportunity to attend a Christian Science Sunday School. A couple years ago The Mother Church created an online Sunday School for young “sincere seekers of Truth” in remote areas of the world where there is no Christian Science branch church or society. In unique cases, online Sunday School may be just the right place for young people to keep growing spiritually if they are disenchanted with or uninterested in attending their local Sunday School.

Online Sunday School follows all the Church Manual bylaws and meets the legal obligations involved with serving youth on the Internet and using copyrighted materials.

Adjustable to the needs of students

Several classes have developed to meet the needs of various age groups and time zones. So far we’ve had students from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Indonesia, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Qatar, Rwanda, South Africa, Taiwan, and Zimbabwe as well as from various locations around the US. You can read more about the classes in a Christian Science Journal article.

If you are under the age of 20 and have access to a computer that's online, you may be eligible for one of the online Sunday School classes.

Fill out the online application - TMC Sunday School online application

If you’re under 18, parental consent is required, so  have your parent or guardian fill out the following online form - COPA parental information form. Finally, there's a follow-up interview for each student after the application is reviewed. (Please note we have been having some difficulties with these online forms. If you have not heard back to an application within a week please contact the Superintendent at the email below.)
