A couple of years ago, I was living and working year round at a Christian Science summer camp that was available for the public to use in the off season. During autumn, there was a large group renting the camp, and on an early Saturday morning, I’d scheduled a meeting with one of the leaders to go over logistics. read

Pain in groin healed

I am a civil engineering technician, and I work on construction sites as a site foreman. One evening in June 2004, as I came home from work, I felt a sudden pain in the groin area. I couldn’t even sit down. So I lay down and tried to remain calm and pray. read
Lump in breast healed
In the summer of 2007, while in the shower, I discovered a lump in my breast. Being a lifelong Christian Scientist, I immediately turned to God in prayer, vehemently denying the possibility of anything harmful attaching itself to me. I’d learned that as God’s image and reflection, I was created spiritual, whole, and invulnerable. read
Recovery from paralysis
When Science and Health came into my life, I was thrilled because the book spoke to me directly. At the time I picked it up, I was passing through a low point in my life, when the world could not offer me anything meaningful. But I said to myself, “Oh, this writer and this book know me vividly—that I am spiritual, immortal, and a thinker!” Learning about Christian Science removed the cobwebs and fear from my thought. I began to give up a lot of little habits that were selfish and self-centered. And I began to have healings. read
Quick healing after persistent prayer
One beautiful fall day I pulled up my windows to let in fresh air, and then pulled the top sash down to let the warm air out. But two of my fingers became caught between the sashes. I managed to get them out by pushing down the bottom sash with my other hand. But the pain in my fingers became so intense that for a moment I couldn’t think at all. read
Diagnosed anemia during pregnancy reversed
While I was pregnant with our son, Joshua, in the winter of 2007, doctors told me I had a blood condition that was very harmful, and potentially fatal, to our baby. They warned that this condition would cause the child to become anemic, and classified the pregnancy as “High Risk.” read
Back pain healed
